Thank you for your suggestions. I trust your advice. I actually have almost every Rare In the whole game and will continue on until I have them all. I was simply considering who to take to 50 or 60, and who to just leave at 40. I noticed you didn't mention Valerie or Mother Superior, both whom I have built up and consider endgame Viable. They work really well on my account. I often vouch for Mother Superior being Better than Apothecary. Maybe mine is, as I built her so very well. I play as a free to play, after getting fed up with the greed and stinginess of the game, but I still might have to spend money sometimes as it takes too long to get enough commons or uncommons to 5 star to feed to anyone to elevate the chosen champs to 60, without buying 5 star chickens. I play for amusement and entertainment, and enjoyment, so yes, I have actually built up uncommons other than Shield Guard, Armiger, Sniper, Zephyr Sniper, Dervish. I even have allot invested in Crusader and Sergeant. No books, I just used duplicates with any uncommons. But I did invest in masteries and glyphs and 4-5 armor and ascensions in the uncommon champs , simply for curiosity sake to see if they could possess some sort of hidden potential. I do hope that Plarium will do more for the buffing of some rares and uncommons in the game,(more HP for uncommons) as a fair assistance to those players such as myself, who can't afford to keep putting money into the game, and can't get no more than 1 Void shard and 1 Sacred shard a month being Free to Play. I thought warmadien was total rubbish until i had to do all 12 hard level secret rooms on domb tower hard! Lol warmaiden is not essential for these rooms but she helps massively!
Personally I think Skullsworn is another mention because his a1 can keep stacking hits if you’re lucky and can do decent damage with the right gear or could stack poisons with poison gear, great for fire knight shield lowering early game if you really have nothing and he’s both farmable and tied to a legendary as well
If you build Pain Keepers solely for Iron Twins, you can run all 3 at rank 3, level 1. All you need to give them are books and good enough gear to reach the speeds. Less damage from them is OK, it means less chances to proc the counter attack. The triple PK team has some risky spots in it, so if you can avoid the counter attacks and do only damage with your Geo, even better. My Alsgor has no masteries, gear at level 8 or 12, no amulet and zero accuracy (unlike Helicath, he has a risky passive, you dont want to land the decrease speed)

Stiched beast has a 100% turn meter reduction and a 2 hit A1 and A2. Good for fire knight in the beggining too. And dark fae easy and maybe the potion keeps
Soulbond Bowyer is top tier rare, for all the reasons Hell Hades mentioned. she's like a mini-Coldheart, with AOE A1. I built 2, and use them in the endgame, for Dungeons and secret rooms. top 5 rare, for me. also, HH forgot Heiress. great rare, even outside unkillable teams.
I would put Soulbond in for Kael. Kael isn't as useful anymore because of Small Poisons cluttering up the defbuff bar and there have been so many other champs for free that can do arena/waves he isn't needed there either. He WAS the goat back in the day but now he rides the bench
Fellhound is a 5 second campaign farmer. His animation is the fastest of all farmers in the game. The running speed of the food that runs up with him can slow him down. (Dwarves etc)
One of the better rares I've found recently, is veteran, the void rare. Not many aoe block buffs I've pulled apart from him and spymaster, and veteran actually has a really decent single target smack
I own all of these rares except for three. As I concentrate on Faction Wars a lot, I have all of them at least to fifth rank and about ten of them at six, including three Coldhearts! The nice thing about rares is that they are easy to fully book if you need it. Frozen Banshee does more damage by far on my Clan Boss team, usually about double her nearest ally. So yes, I fully agree with HH's picks! 6/14/23
Coffin smasher in a toxic set alongside apothecary carried my CB team to 2 keying NM, almost 1 key. Nowadays theyre vaulted save for secret rooms but those two are a beast support set.
Awesome job 👍. Great list, and I agree with all of your choices. That being said, I do feel you may have forgotten to make an honorable mention about Marquess, as she is arguably the hardest hitting rare champion in the game (besides Coldheart). But I feel if you really need help with damage, look no further than Marquess.
HH, first of all congrats on hitting 200k subscribers 🎉🎉 Second, i feel you missed some rares that are definitely worth building. 1. Heiress is still in so many CB teams, way more than Frozen Banshee. Top tier rare that almost everyone should build. 2. Berserker is an absolute cannon and perfect for DT secret rooms. 3. Sentinel, Ironclad & Fleshmonger all have very niche secret room viability and are definitely worth investing in even late game to get those pesky rooms completed. As a little post script, i think Kael is a bit over rated. I wouldnt even have him top 10. Maybe he's a little higher on some lists due to sentimental value, but i believe champions like Soulbond, Gnarlhorn and Heiress have to higher than him Either way, thanks for all the continued work you and your team do for the raid community. Keep up the great content
Gnarlhorn was the missing piece to get my unkillable team (Tower) going, taking the stuns while the unkillable was up, still use him for that role on Magic Affinity so he's getting hit instead of Helicath

@hellhades!!! Quick spider 20 farm, consistent win with 3 coldhearts, archmage, and a drop def AND weaken champ such as venus. Set AI's for archmage to inc c rate and c damage, and venus to drop def/weaken. Then coldhearts take care of the rest. PLUS, on top of that, you only have to build CH to....brace urself.... 40% C RATE!! 😮😮😮😮😮
I knew Warmaiden would be on the list, I was surprised Spirithost didn't make it :( . Warmaiden + Spirithost + Ka'el ;) = Arena Win, (plus anyone else to clean up anything left after the Nuke...) well through late silver early gold. The beauty of that team is they are all free Champions, and Warmaiden and Spirithost can Self book by farming them while campaign farming for silver/food. Spirithost is an Awesome cleanser on a short cooldown.
I'm stuck on Bommel Normal Floor 90. I've had Master Butcher in my vault since what feels like day 1, and I'm reluctantly going to get him up to 50 to try and get past that boss. I was thinking about Ordinator as well, maybe worth a 50, but I don't know...
I have a Grmbler from dwarf facton that can solo scarb boos. I also built Corpulant Cadaver with Destroy gear and he can 3-4 shot Scarab Kings Dmg sheild. IF you would like to try them out for those locations.
so many of us get caught up on individual champs so watch HH team building videos and specific boss builds - then get some of these vault rares up to speed and get mid-tier results faster. I endorse HH whos team always provides well timed content and usable at any level of play.
Soulbound Bowyer for me has been by far the most impactful rare since maxing my starter champion. She’s my 7 second campaign farmer and helped me get to gold V as my arena nuker. She’s great in dungeons waves and boss fights and helped me get to about level 15 across the board. To me she’s easily one of top 5 rares in the game.
The great thing about Diabolist for new players is you can book her out with duplicates doing 12-3 or 12-6 food leveling. Been playing a month and i booked her out with zero books.
When talking about rares don't forget about doom tower hard secret rooms. So me myself after 2.5 years in game now leveling warmaiden to close those tricky secret rooms and got my Ramantu.
My corpulent cadaver strategy is the same as my Heiress strat. Feed copies to book them out (CC takes longer, but getting a Krisk is no easy thing.) take to 4 stars, ascend, place in vault. Was able to build out my Myth Heiress immediately, and all but Krisk for the world record team. I am patient...it will happen...
I skipped the first battle pass, but was willing to buy the second because it actually was really good. Good for me that Raid was a Berkeley Hunt and saved my from ever giving them a dime by saying that they wouldn't do another one.
Mother Superior are Acolyte are two rares that are totally underrated. Mother Superior I find is even better than Apothecary in that she has a speed boost on the Aura, a heal + shield on A2 and a group heal + shield on A3. Paired with Godseeker Ainiri extending all the heals, the team is almost unkillable up to turn 15 and I only have Mother Superior at level 43. Acolyte, when your entire team is loaded with debuffs that you can't even see all of the debuffs, one clean sweap and they are all gone!! To me, they should've made the list as well. When you are F2P and don't have all those legendaries coming out of your ying yang, Acolyte is the best you can have to remove debuff. Corpulent Cadaver is also not too bad without being in the "dream team". He pairs really well with Jizoh and is a beast in clearing out the Force Keep in the dungeon. Soulbond and Bellower, unless paired with multiple healers and shield buffs are SO squishy. One hit and they are gone. They've got great attack damage but they are always the first ones to go in the arena and they are one-hitters unless you have revivers. And lastly, if you think situational champions like Frozen Banshee and Corpulent Cadaver are great, then you shouldn't leave out Lifetaker. She's absolutely essential in Fire Knight until you've leveled the damage champions to level 60. Without her, you won't be able to clear Fire Knight at all. She used to be even better when put on the original Cursed gear so that way even if she doesn't land the 100% heal reduction, she will still land the 50% heal reduction. Ever since they changed the Cursed gear with the new update, she's nerfed a bit. The Hex on the new Cursed gear is totally useless.
Hey Hell Hades not sure if you will read this but I thought of a interesting clan boss challenge to do with the other content creators like how you did with hydra. Arbter and all 4 starters on ultra nightmare clan boss and see who can do the most damage with 1 key. It was inspired by a recent factor wars stage I cleared and i don't know, seemed like an interesting content creator challenge.
I will say the one Rare Champ if I could get early to take to 60 is Fellhound. He isnt the most amazing champ but he is the easiest to me campaign farmer. Also I use him in Tag Arena for a nuke A1 and FK early because of the reflect damage buff.
After 2 years i pulled Coldheart and forgot to lock her. So when i was tired the same evening, i chose her as food and ranked up another food. Well, that was my chance with her for the lifetime of raid. ^^
Great list as always. May I recommend Draconis and Castigator as well? Both great tanks, both with excellent team protection. 6* Draconis in a high quality shield set is still in my Faction wars 21 run for Sacred Order
I play for 1 year now. During this time I pulled ~100 void shards and no leggos, no Coldheart. By the time I get a Coldheart, I won`t need her anymore.
I don't know why, but the Corpulent Cadaver WR team just won't work for me. Got Corpulent, Krisk, Brogni, Helloborn, and Godseeker. match all the stats to exact on the videos, but it just doesn't want to work. It's like my shields are not going up as much as they should and he just can't do over 150 thousand a hit.
As far as Galek goes he was the starter I picked on my first account and only if he could have had HP burn on A2 and A3 like Kael has all those poisons.
When I first started, I used Metal Sharper a lot because of his shield; and I never watched any content creators at that time. Now you give me a hint on Scarab boss.
Maybe I’m crazy but Doom Tower and Hydra on day 50 seems insane to me. I’m at like day 130 somethin or other and I’ve just barely scratched alter of souls and Doom Tower

Second, i feel you missed some rares that are definitely worth building.

You can't really do too many rares in Hydra unless you have absolutely god tier gear. If you have god tier gear, you don't need rares

Not far. Survivability becomes essential very quickly. And rares have mostly low HP and DEF.

She is very very squishy though even with a base 800+ defense. That's the only problem that I find with her.

I am level 91 and still using Kael as main nuker, I even fully blessed him with Phantom touch. His nuke has 4.65 multipliers.

Bellower is so versatile that he can be use almost anywhere with waves.
My account is level 97 and Coldheart still play a part in my spider and fire knight squad, she's that awesome.

I play for 1 year now. During this time I pulled ~100 void shards and no leggos, no Coldheart. By the time I get a Coldheart, I won`t need her anymore.

CH has uses all the way in to the end game. She's still used in the faster Spider 10H and 25 comps, is used in Dark Fae 120H, for example.
Took me 15 months to pull Coldheart and ended up with two in a ten pull

I don't know why, but the Corpulent Cadaver WR team just won't work for me. Got Corpulent, Krisk, Brogni, Helloborn, and Godseeker. match all the stats to exact on the videos, but it just doesn't want to work. It's like my shields are not going up as much as they should and he just can't do over 150 thousand a hit.
As far as Galek goes he was the starter I picked on my first account and only if he could have had HP burn on A2 and A3 like Kael has all those poisons.
I know that end game people know what toons look like but what about a search bar if we have seed toon

Apothecary is very useful against normal Hydra. Perhaps you can even build him in a provoke set.

I got Kael at 60. Is it worth leveling Frozen banshee to 60 and replace kael? I’m still on hard cb.
Yes you can if you only use Kael as a damage dealer for campaign and arena so that you won't worry about his accuracy.

Maybe I’m crazy but Doom Tower and Hydra on day 50 seems insane to me. I’m at like day 130 somethin or other and I’ve just barely scratched alter of souls and Doom Tower

Seer is an Epic, not a Rare.
Heiress and corpulent cadaver should be on that list imo. Best 2 rares for CB
