This is, by far the best of KU performance I have seen this season. I knew how good they are and only if they can stay focus all the way throughout the game. Go Jayhawks, let the 2008 history repeat!
Not the most talented team, but it's the best performance I've seen as a team since 2008 team. Gillespie was getting the ball taken like Chalmers and D-Rob did to their opponents. Was beautiful

And the previous record was 25 when KU and Nova played in the 2018 final 4. Wild.

@@derekmathews1557 Nah I also think Kansas was more prepared its obvious in mental preparation and how much more they wanted it. They perfected fundamentals and showed they wanted to be there more. As evident by the quick 10-0 and 18-38 score
@@thatloserkyle, yes I know that but points in the paint were huge too. Kansas had something like 40 or 50 points in the point. That was just as big as the 13 threes Kansas hit. And second chance points were huge too.
A Complete Game from start to finish. Led the entire way. KU will be a very tough out for either UNC or Duke.
Yeah, if kansas plays the way they did vs nova, i dont see duke nor unc being able to beat them. Kansas is just so prolific on offense and they can score from so many different positions and from so many different sets. This kansas team is very dynamic offensively. They play like an nba team offensively. They just simply outscore other teams. They have no weaknesses on offense and have so much depth that they wear their opponents out. We will see what happens in the title game, but my money is on KU cutting down the nets.

This game was over within the first 3 minutes. Kansas was unconscious shooting the basketball tonight! They’ll be tough to beat on Monday night.

I'll be happy either way, the story line will be for each team with the opportunity still: KU= revenge from the canceled March madness of 2020, Duke= Coach K goes out in style, or NC= Rookie Coach leads heels to the promise land

Nova's a fraud....Got lucky a couple of years, that's all, and had an easy way to the F4 this year like hundreds of teams.....Good game to Kansas, at least they didn't shoot 1/21 from 3-points like Houston did uncontested....
Kansas is gonna win the title. Theyre just rolling right now. They have so many scorers and so much depth that they force teams to shoot basically lights out to have a chance at beating them. Even if the other team can score with them for 30 minutes or so in a game and keep it close, kansas has so much depth that they wear the other team down and pull away in the final 10 minutes. Unless KU gets into serious foul trouble and self destructs, theyre not going to lose on monday night. I just dont see that happening bc this squad looks to be on a mission to win it all. I hope the game monday is well played by both teams and stays competitive, coming down to the last couple possessions. Just give me a good game to watch! My money is on KU though.

McCormick and Agbaji are playing in a different stratosphere right now, and the spark Braun gave late can't be commended enough. Heck of a team win Jayhawks, congrats. The Tarheels are now in too for hopefully one of the better blueblood Title games we've seen in some time.
I was out earlier and decided to check the score and KU was up 40-29. I knew they'd dominate the rest of the way. They are really balling out this season. Kansas is always an elite team. They seem to have great chemistry. Villanova is a heck of a team too. They took out my Buckeyes handily. They'll be back next season. KU seems to be a classy basketball program. Whenever they talk about Bill Self, he's always in good standing. He never gives the media anything bad to talk about. As for Chris Holtmann, folks take shots at him. Anyway, good luck KU. KU fans deserve seeing their team succeed.

Kansas plays like this Monday against Carolina, they will win their 4th title overall and their 2nd one under Bill Self who is already a Hall of Famer. Well over 700 wins, the all-time winningest program this year, 4 final fours, and 9 elite 8s. He also has won 81% of his games every year. Roy Williams won 80% of his games at Kansas. Crazy how one point seperates these two. Both of them are Hall of famers in my book.

If you had told me that Nova was going to shot 13 3-pointers for almost 43% from deep, I would've thought that Kansas was going to be in trouble. But wow! What a performance from Kansas. McCormick, Agbaji were on fire, a double-double from Wilson and a clutch 10 points from Braun and Kansas rolled for most of the game.
The last three times these teams have faced each other in the tournament the winner went on to win the title. Hopefully, it happens for a fourth time. ROCK! CHALK! JAYHAWK!
I was heartbroken when villanova beat Kansas in 2018 but they were truly the best team in college basketball that season and bill self even called them the best college bball team of the decade. @@daebak7370 6th National Championship. They won two titles before the NCAA was a thing. It was decided by a vote before the tournament, but that's how all the titles were decided back then, so they count.

The Jayhawks came out firing on all cylinders and they never looked back every time Villanova tried to make a comeback. If they face UNC on Monday Night, they will have the advantage, but if they face Duke, then it’s gonna be a barn burner

He won't be able to score like that against Bacot in the NC game Monday night. Bacot is phenomenal. KU will have their hands full in that one. That Love dude for N.C. is also pretty dang unbelievable on the court. Its going to be fun. I hope Lightfoot can find the bottom of the net more in that game. I remember back in 2008, after Carolina lost Roy showed up at the Kansas/Memphis game with a Jayhawk on his lapel. I thought that was really gracious and cool, he's always been a class act.
Kansas overall average point differential from the opponent is +15, leaving the Kansas v Providence game the closest one. They are playing like a 1 seed and at this rate can beat both unc and duke. I suspect the unc duke game will be all drawn out just for them to get beat. Even Chuck said it, they’re playing too good right now even if nova wasn’t injured

Texas Tech, Baylor, and Kansas have all made appearances in the title game the last three years. It would have been four if the 2020 tournament was played because I believe Ku wins that tournament hands down. They had the best point guard and best big man and a bunch of players who complimented them very well.

Nova played above their natural talents and I commend them. Kansas simply dominated them in every aspect possible. If the Jayhawks are on from the perimeter, they're the best team in the country and it's not close.

And if they didn't, they can fall back on Mitch, Remy and Jalen. So there is really no concern. Truthfully, these 3 are more of a sure thing because they come big when the stars of the team (Dave, Och and CB) are struggling which is even more impressive. On a game like tonight when the start play, these 3 take a back seat and enjoy letting their stars shine. Awesome unselfish teammates to have.

This was the first time I've seen Kansas play & Im convinced they can beat my LAKERS. JH are BIG in the post, good shooters, nice ball movement and well- coached.

Villanova Tried outshoot Kansas at the expense of their defense which was awful and they didn’t have size in the paint,they didn’t switch well which led to alot of uncontested 3point shots
North Carolina won’t have that problem.
Its gonna be duke vs kansas in the the championship game. I think this is kansas' year though. They have weapons all over the place and mccormick is a mismatch down low. I dont think either unc or duke can beat them if they play like they did today.

Villanova was playing against the wrong opponent. Kansas made like 30 3s shots. Every mf on that team was netting 3s.
Both teams made 13 threes. Nova made 13 threes in the first half of 2018 semifinal against Kansas. 18 total. Couldn't believe it. Next game against Michigan in the national title, not as many threes were going in. Of course, opposing teams always get hot against Kansas.
