I personally take AP, but honestly think dual enrollment is better since you can get credits done a lot more faster, get the college experience, and already have your college resume started.
Its a good thing AP Pre-Calculus doesnt have any disadvantages associated with either AP or DE: The workload is light and you dont have to worry about credit transferability!
Only taking into account a hypothetically perfect AP and Dual enrollment school..... There is no debate; dual enrollment is significantly better. Shorter classes, college expirence, can graduate with A.A Degree, no significant workload, and no end-of-the-year exam.
In my district, duel credit or duel enrollment gives you less credit compared to AP classes, which is kind of backwards since the duel enrollment gives you the opportunity to earn an associates before you graduate high school
I have a quick question. Would AP Lang, AP Physics 1, AP Bio, and DE Precalculus be manageable with a job? I’m currently discussing what classes I’m taking next year with my counselor.
Depends on several factors, such as which teachers teach it, your preference/expertise in STEM vs liberal classes, and so on. I would say consider how much free time you have and plan from there. From my perspective, seems rather manageable
Look at transferology to confirm its acceptance instead of just creating assumptions about DE. Also, speak to DE students who have been accepted to out of state of T20 schools

Yeah, cause the credit transferability is futile for this course
@@Mr.AP5 It's transferable to over 400 colleges nationally, compared to Honors Pre-Calculus, which is transferable to 0.

If only colleges were as receptive of DE credit as AP

If you’re in at least 11th grade you can take any community college class given you’ve completed prerequisites though you won’t get hs credits.

:(
At my school dual credit isnt in gpa lol

Same here :/ If it was I would take dual credit over APUSH easy
Same. Dual enrollment is actually weighted less than AP classes. @@Mr.AP5
