TheFinalApproach most modern scale trucks include inner fenders now which adds to the scale realism. Sure some (like the SCX10iii) can be tough to switch a body, but it’s a trade off for that look. As for “top heavy” CG? That’s a stretch - we aren’t talking about something that’s motor or battery weight or even a roof rack. It’s thin plastic. But of course, this is all my opinion 😃
Bought mine used with 1.9 wheels that definitely gave a big advantage, added interior, a figure and some extras, love it. I wanna find a clear body to paint it same color as my 1:1 4Runner, black.
You guys have smashed it again! IFS, scale accessories etc. Once again moving the hobby forward with innovation, leaving the rest behind. I'll be placing a pre-order for this one tomorrow. Top job.
Just ordered a Trailrunner. Can't pass up the opportunity to have an IFS rig with a 4Runner body! I would pay a little extra for a 4Runner license body, LED housings, and inner fenders.
Cant wait to get my hands on one, have been wanting to add the ifs to the collection but so many projects already going this rtr will make that addition happen faster! You guys rock!
Late to the party, this Trailrunner is now a new addition to my other Element the Sendero HD, can’t wait to share the crawling time with my family with both trucks.
Really should have come with 1.9s, the extra ground clearance is beneficial. Other than that amazing rig well worth picking up. I don't regret buying mine.
I am looking at getting one of the Trailrunners, but would like to put a little twist on it and swap the four link for leaf springs in the rear, would that take a lot of modification to the chassis and would doing so void any warranty on the rig
Looks pretty cool! I love my enduro builders kit chassis. May have to get one of these. Is there a dig transmission in the works at all? That would be amazing!!!
I got one and it broke in three days well not broke but it won’t get any power and the red light on the esc keeps blinking red and I have no clue what to do with it
I really love the look of this is it on the same chassis/running gear as the first one, has it got IFS or solid axle. Thiscould be my first crawler as I have ben looking for a crawler for ever but the only ones liked until now have been way out of budget so I hope this is not too spendy, yes I know with named brands they have to be paid for but fingers crossed and bring it on, I need a distraction being in total lockdown here in the UK so I do hope it is out very very son as I loved the fitst one not so keen on the bodies for it, yse I could buy another body but that s more money on top of buying price.
$389 is the price, looks like it comes with IFS installed but also includes everything you need to convert to solid axle right. No additional purchase necessary
I love my trailrunner BUT whenever I turn right and reverse I can't turn left until I have moved forward for some reason. It makes it difficult to be accurate with steering because I have to move forward first. Any suggestions on what it could be. Thanks.
I got mine today and I've noticed its got the reedy sc480x instead of the sc400x esc and the number plate on mine is IF54X4. I havnt seen another one with the same esc or number plate. Why is this. Thanks
Are you still running the 1.5’s ? I ran 2.2s with the Titan crawl motor and Hobbywing 1080 ESC, in three months, I wore down the front and rear ring and pinions, true They arras definitely the quietest drivetrain, however, I believe the Element factory would benifit by making a note in the Trail Runner construction manual. NOTE: use two .015 thick washer shims behind inner rear pinion bearing !! I hope maybe the Associated Co could possibly comp me for two sets of spherical cut ring and pinions + rear drive shaft that has a mfg defect. Can show photos and receipt of purchase at local hobby shop. Granted , I know I exceeded the mfg spec 1.5 rims but i baby my rigs. Thank you for letting me share my Element Trail Runner experience . It’s the most versatile affordable platform to Truly individualize you’re rig, and make the dream real. Accepts all aftermarket parts as Axial and most comp scaler trail trucks. ❤️‼️
@@tommyhammel the front ring gear had chipped teeth from bashing around StonyPoint park boulders, and the rear ring gear and pinion were both 50 % worn, so I figured the RTR had to loose gear tooth so I stuck a washer behind the pinion was earring , for more engagement, problem solved
I wish they would have released this truck first. They botched the sendero release they took too long because they were greedy and lots of people lost interest before they even got their trucks
I want this I'm all out of rc's of any kind sold them when my son was born looking to get one someday. Will be a while with this covid stuff as my wife is out of a job and it's just me working as I deliver repair set up and program different medical equipment to long term care facilities in ohio
Bought the element trail walker truck , paint missed on sides of body , grill posts broken from being over tightend , stickers not even close to being straight ready to run out of the box terrible assembly from the factory no response from product manager iam just a young kid who spent a lot of my savings to get this cool looking truck I would have sent back but had already started to detail it before I realized the poor paint and parts already broken next time I will be more cautious and probably never buy and element or AC products again @elementrc
Far from it. I have a 5th Gen 4Runner and it looks like a 4runner, of course it's not 100% accurate, it's not a licensed body and to make it 100% would be asking for a lawsuit
Great video concept.....just needs inner fenders.....

just picked this up..cant fkn wait to play
Well done Element crew! This is a must for the next crawler purchase.
These make the best RC prerunners
OMG. The end is perfect. After a nice day of picking up a new truck and hitting trails you gotta Crack open a cold one. Cheers!
The truck is hawt... but the fluorescent light bulb effects and such... that was even better. Totally sold the scale truck and garage. Great job!
This truck will catch traction in the scale rc community.

I know what my next trail truck is gonna be>
Definitely on my X-Mas list !
Now that is on my wish list, that thing is awesome you guys really did it this time!
Awesome rig, inner fenders would of been nice though
Excellent video, needs inner fenders and clear Windows but otherwise a great little truck! Can you put leaf springs on the back like my 1:1?
That was a great video, I will be getting one of these for sure
Nice promo video, enjoyed the adventure!!!

Sweet .... not gonna lie I hoped this was coming after the front end dropped!
YES! 5th Enduro coming to my garage!
I'll take one design inner fenders I own a toyota so I got to add this to my collection well done. Very realistic..
I thought you guys were going back for a snorkel in the moderate section😄
Noice! We need builders kit of this.
Under coat with matte black it will camouflage it making it look like if it had wheel welds...you know what I mean

This video rocks! Loved it. Well done!
Well done video. Haha it's cute. I kinda want one.
awesome video... I just purchased this ride... I love it
I really need to try out and ifs rig!!
Very nice!! 👌🏽
Sweet!! Waiting for my order 😛
awesome vid 👍
I think this is the one!
I said I was done with rc's 🙄. I said that 3 rc's ago 😂
Very cool ending.
Finally some ifs 4 runner love
AE for life! Love to watch that rear tire tuck! When can I get one? 😍
It is very cool but I'm not a huge fan of the IFS. Great new release though and it looks awesome In action 👍
Did you think the IFS seems a little stiff? Hardly any articulation.
@@plee1433 yea a little and I worry that it has less clearance for awkward angled objects . But suppose it will look much more scale on trails .

You guys need to get some licensed bodies on these rigs.
This is probably a stupid question but does this RTR kit come with a radio transmitter? I haven't been into r/c for 20 years.
Awesome vid mi Familia!!
We’re is this place at????
Somewhere in Los Angeles.

Still waiting on a portal axle truck.
One question before I purchase does this rig have have all the hard plastic upgrades in it or not?
If you are talking about the bumper, snorkel, and roof rack, yeah they come with the rtr and I would assume the build kit as well.
Waterproof?
thats a toyota 4 runner
Can the front diff be unlocked?
No.
Add some fenders please.
Fun!

Ok I found the answer to the different speed controller. What about the number plate? Is that because its the newer one?
Ok I found the answer for that aswell. Thanks for the help anyway. Keep doin what ur doin 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
Whats the third part to the music? I can't find it
Just after I buy the sendero. ..
Front clearance of crawler kinda low.
am i the only one that thinks the IFS does not look scale at all
I just bought an enduro😞
Still a great truck!
