bought the silvers, filmed them with 0.3mm switch film and lubed them. i replaced the springs for some akko cs 45g springs( pink switches). ik trew in some switch pads and swapped out the pcb to an anode board. for stabs i used click in v3. it plays perfect for fortnite and feels high end. actuation with the mods is higher at 1.7mm wich i find to be perfect.
I’ve been wondering, should I get the optical yellow switches or the optical silver switches? I know the yellows are faster, however, I’ve been trying to find the yellows for my country and they haven’t been available for 2 entire months due to some new regulations. I just found the silvers available to buy on Amazon and they’d take about 2 weeks to get to here. Do you think they have a better feel? Do you think I should wait for the yellows and I could get used to the force needed to press down? Or the silvers overall are a good pick. Would it be smart to buy the silvers and then buy separate switches to install and swap them out with the silvers or is it not worth it? Also, this will be my first mechanical keyboard, therefore I am not yet fully sure about getting the Gk61, so would you recommend it for long term use? (Sorry for the entire essay lmao)
Hey man when I try but the gk61 their are 2 different companies- hk and skyloong, I don’t know if one will be a fake and I if one will be any better than the other, do you know anything about this?
@@hyecross to be honest I could ask u this question lol I am wondering what I get 😂 I have the Corsair k60 rgb pro keyboard - with Cherry viola switches Would u say to get the Gk61 aswell or get a better mouse (Logitech G305 light speed) I mean my mouse isn’t the best but it has the side buttons Or don’t get the keyboard and just get the mouse 🐭 I have just switched to keyboard and mouse btw 😎

i heard the silver and yellow same speed
Good vid my gk61 with silvers and it makes a pinging sound and it about only a week old with very light use any ideas
i would maybe try lubing your switches if you don’t like the loud sound, but the silver switches are generally very high sounding.
@@hyecross they sound like its super loud spring ping in a new kb

go with HK gaming it’s the real company
@@hyecross ok thanks man
dude, i don't know who buy. Gateron Optical Silver/ Gateron Optical red/ Gateron Optical yellow, Which is the best for gaming?
If you want switches strictly for gaming go with optical yellows, they are crazy fast and reliable
Hey bro would you still suggest it now or would u suggest another great budget board for this moment in time????????
this is still a great budget keyboard and is still very relevant and useful for this moment and time
@@hyecross cool thanks a lot mate 😎
Have a good one

@@JP_Motion-23 ok nice, i would recommend getting the keyboard as it would benefit you greatly, maybe save up for a mouse in the future
@@hyecross ok nice so u don’t think that the viola switches are the best
And the silver would be better
Bro why dipper from gravity falls man that’s embarrassing
Cuz the show is peak the character is peak and you have a fortnite pfp so i think your opinions should be revoked
this keyboard 1000 hz?
some people argue that it’s only 100 but i believe it’s 1000hz
