yeah but the 3060ti has almost double the memory bus, 256 bit compared to 192 bit on the regular 3060, and that alone gives a performance boost and makes the TI's 8gb way faster than the regular 3060's 12gb
Just replaced a GTX 1070 with an RTX 3060ti which I got from Amazon Warehouse Deals for 240 Euro. I would still call it a WQHD card. Maybe not with the latest AAA titles but for everything else it's fine.
Doesn’t a TI mean “titanium”? Thus, better cooling? If so, I think your advice is still valid, but my point is that you can just get better cooling for your build and max out your performance without overheating. That way, you might not get AS GOOD performance as the TI model, but get the absolute best performance out of your 3060. (Obviously cooling is not everything, but it does help a lot.)
i got a 3060 ti fe card for 215 around 6 months ago from a guy on fb marketplace he just bought a 4070 ti super and lives in a super small town like me nobody would buy it so when i towballed him it actually worked lmao he had it at 250$ either way it was a steal
Once again, the creator fails to offer an accurate assessment. Let's break down the details: The 3060, while slower, boasts more VRAM. This extra VRAM might future-proof it better, particularly given the recent surge in VRAM demands across applications. On the other hand, the 3060 Ti showcases significantly better performance but lacks 4GB of VRAM compared to the 3060. This shortage might pose potential issues down the line. If you upgrade frequently (every generation or so), the 3060 Ti might be more suitable due to its superior performance, as long as VRAM limitations aren't a concern. Conversely, the 3060, with its surplus VRAM, could be a stronger contender for long-term use despite slightly lower performance compared to the 3060 Ti. Presently, the price difference between the 3060 and 3060 Ti is negligible. Online searches on platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Newegg suggest an approximate $30-40 variance at most.
What is the difference between Rtx 3070 and Rtx 3070 ti & Is it worth it to spend more for the "Ti" Ones? In used market in our country, there is 10k BDT difference between these.
Recently got 3060 ti for 250€, and it's very good. I was planning to get 6600 xt instead but the games I play are mostly optimized for Nvidia and not AMD unfortunately
Honestly I would get a 1080 TI they Coast right around $200 for a brand new one off of Amazon last time I checked I got mine for $200 I mean it's a PNY model but I have no complaints it's 11 GB card that is a beast even to these days as long as you're after Pure rasterization Performance and you're not after Ray tracing at all it's a great card
Zach what’s better value: A 3060 12gb or a 6650xt? I’m getting a pc with a ryzen 5500. someone gave me an offer for ~190$ for a 6650xt. I managed to find an OEM 3060 12gb (don’t know if that makes a difference) for 210$
3060ti if you're only task is gaming. But if you're into productive tasks alongside gaming, CUDA deep learning stuff for my case, then the 12gb 3060 makes a lot of sense because of the extra VRAM.
I run most games at about 60 fps on 1440p on my 3060. To be honest i usually need to lower some graphics settings but can leave it mostly on high. Just the more intensive ones drop down to 30.
3060ti is faster than 2080 super and 3060ti's performance is very close to 3070 and you are saying 3060ti is for 1080p gaming? Yeah VRAM is not sufficient but still, it's raw power is enough for 1440p, just because of 8gb VRAM, you have to compromise on ultra settings in latest games but can still enjoy new gaming titles at high or very high settings
I got an evga 3060 12gb at msrp during the gpu shortage, so glad I didn't get the ti because it's only got 8gb, the small speed increase isn't worth the ti markings
I am building my first pc. My choices are 6750xt 12gb and 6650xt 8gb. 6750xt is priced at around $126 higher than 6650xt. There's also a 3060ti 8gb for $130 more than 6650xt. I am building with a R7 5700x.
Generally AMD ones are the cheaper ones, if you just wanna game though, if you're into any graphical stuff or streaming then nvidia is more optimised and stable, but you're on a budget and wanna get the best one for gaming only, go for AMD
Higher priced GPUs give you better framerates at higher resolutions but they also draw more power. If you only play at 1080p/Full HD, an entry level card will be sufficient.
I'd prefer 3060ti It's way fatser . More vram isn't of much use other than running higher textures. Cause in recent titles the 3060 gets 30-40 less fps than 3060ti . Also 3060ti can be used in 1444p. Soo thats my preference
I would pick the 12 gb 3060 over the 3060 ti any day because of that extra vram. with proper cooling u can overclock the 3060 to run as fast as a ti, and still have all that good memory to spare. even without overclocking a few hundred mhz clock speed isn't benefitting the ti much.
Guys just to let you know 3060ti is much more near a 3070 then a 3060 Infact with a simple oc you can earn up to the fps that a 3070 does You can go and Watch a lot of benchmark that shows how 3060ti is still a solid card even for qhd resolution I currently run an i5 12th and a 3060ti and i play every game in qhd Community that loves benchmarks know how cyberpunk is a must to Watch in order to have an idea on how a gpu handle games and with some adjustement and dlss i play cyberpunk in qhd 80 to 100 fps (Sorry for my English)
So now that we talking about RTX, can you say something about RTX 3000/4000 mobile, maybe how to maximize fps, this kind of thing. I personaly have Dell with RTX 3000, i7 9th gen and 64gb of ram. Unfortunately there's not much about it on the internet
Got my 3060 ti brand new for $290, and it's epic. I'm 1440p dunno how you're gonna say you'd recommend the base 3060 over the ti version. I think you're wrong on this. If you can find a 3060 ti for $300 msrp versus the $250 base 3060. You better pick the Ti.
ti might run faster, but by about 10fps faster. The difference between 50 fps and 60 fps is really only noticeable if you're specifically looking for the difference. Otherwise, the biggest difference is just a flex

Actually I have a 3060 12GB but it was a bit struggling in 1080p but when I got to 1440p it was giving me around 150fps (locked because of my 144Hz screen) in all my games with ultra settings (and I’m talking games like RDR2, Sea Of Thieves etc)
How do you get that. I got the 3060 12100f combo, 1080p RDR2 struggles at ultra unless dlss quality and then 30-35 fps. Is my graphics cards problematic? a bronze msi mag a550bn with 90% efficiency won't have any psu issues with 3060
I found a Intel core i9 14900k for 60 bucks and a Rtx 4090 for 600
Where???????? And how?????
Nice, that's crazy
60 bucks.. sure 🧢
prove it or you made it up
i9 14900k for 60 ? In what fairytale 💀💀💀
Im playing in a budget to mid range pc wit the 3060 and a ryzen 5 4500. It plays all games on native 1440 p with around 80 to 120 fps on high settings. With a monitor that uses adaptive freesync im really happy with the performance.
Always get the option with 12gb of vram minimum. 8 is getting outdated.
The 3060 ti has less vram, but it has faster memory, therefore, it will almost always outperform the standard 3060.
@JacLewis295 no shit it's the TI
Yes 8bgb vram is not enough (3070ti here)
@@michubern1444 I just don't get why the 3070 ti only had 8gb of vram
@@simracingcentral10 jep its stupid..got it cheap used but i am still mad at myself hehe
something with the 60 class clards is just amazing idk i love them so much but i use the 3060 ti for 3440x1440 and it works like a gem. settings on all my games ultra textures to medium settings
Does Intel i3 12100f and Rx 6650xt is a good combo or not for a budget pc.
Will it give 1440p 60fps on new games?
yeah but the 3060ti has almost double the memory bus, 256 bit compared to 192 bit on the regular 3060, and that alone gives a performance boost and makes the TI's 8gb way faster than the regular 3060's 12gb
Just replaced a GTX 1070 with an RTX 3060ti which I got from Amazon Warehouse Deals for 240 Euro. I would still call it a WQHD card. Maybe not with the latest AAA titles but for everything else it's fine.
If you do things other than gaming (like video editing, 3D modelling, data science, AI stuff, etc) then the 12 gb of VRAM are WAY more important.
The whole 30th Ti series was great gpus.
I have an RTX 3060 TI 8gb and I play everything in 1440p. Never knew it was just an 1080p card tho I haven't had issues with it in the last two years
My 3060 12gb has been serving me well at 1440p. Especially witg DLSS at some of the more demanding titles
Should I get a 4070 or a 4070 ti for an intel i7-13700k
i got a 3060 ti fe card for 215 around 6 months ago from a guy on fb marketplace he just bought a 4070 ti super and lives in a super small town like me nobody would buy it so when i towballed him it actually worked lmao he had it at 250$ either way it was a steal
Once again, the creator fails to offer an accurate assessment. Let's break down the details:
The 3060, while slower, boasts more VRAM.
What GPU would you recommend for blender, I plan on a 4050.
Better question: what IS ti? Is it the same as xt, and is xtx different from that? 🤔
Bro Neon colour watch evde poyi😄
What is the difference between Rtx 3070 and Rtx 3070 ti & Is it worth it to spend more for the "Ti" Ones? In used market in our country, there is 10k BDT difference between these.
Overclocking is starting to make a lot of sense lol
Yea, not really, undervolting is better, unless you got some real good overclocking gpu
Undervolting just gives more benefits
i got my 3060ti for $200 off FB marketplace which was a much welcomed upgrade from my 1660super and it’s a great 1440p card for sure
Recently got 3060 ti for 250€, and it's very good. I was planning to get 6600 xt instead but the games I play are mostly optimized for Nvidia and not AMD unfortunately
I used 3060ti for almost 1 year, and i go for 2k last month, it's very good gpu for me since played genshin most of time
As a 3060 + i5 12400F user i can say that it performs pretty good at 1440p and even 4k.
Am I able to swap the fans on my AIO
Zach what’s better value: A 3060 12gb or a 6650xt? I’m getting a pc with a ryzen 5500. someone gave me an offer for ~190$ for a 6650xt. I managed to find an OEM 3060 12gb (don’t know if that makes a difference) for 210$
I've had a 3060 ti. Dlss, rt, and the drivers have been great. Get 100-130 fps at 1080 high-ultra
3060ti if you're only task is gaming. But if you're into productive tasks alongside gaming, CUDA deep learning stuff for my case, then the 12gb 3060 makes a lot of sense because of the extra VRAM.
I got an used 3060 ti only $250 and i love it for the power of RT cores and tensor cores
Finally, a comment section without the Ryzen 4070!
This video is 8 months old
I run most games at about 60 fps on 1440p on my 3060. To be honest i usually need to lower some graphics settings but can leave it mostly on high. Just the more intensive ones drop down to 30.
This video got me thinking about upgrading. What GPU should I upgrade to. I have a 3060 right now.
I found a seller that’s selling a brand new one for 150 dollars bc It doesn’t come with the box
You can also play in 1440p with the Ti. I personnaly have it with a7700x and run most games at solid 144frames per sec
Hey, got a question! Looking to build a gameing PC with a budget of 500 to 1000 USD. What GPU and CPU along with motherboard would you recommend?
Is the i9-12900k with 3070 ti good 1080p
trust me get the 4060ti 16g thats best right now in the market
I recently subscribed. Does the cheap gpus that u mention have any significant differences compared to the high priced ones other than the price?
Generally AMD ones are the cheaper ones, if you just wanna game though, if you're into any graphical stuff or streaming then nvidia is more optimised and stable, but you're on a budget and wanna get the best one for gaming only, go for AMD
@Nevi-bc1dl amd tend to have driver issues for many months after launch, so there's that.
Higher priced GPUs give you better framerates at higher resolutions but they also draw more power. If you only play at 1080p/Full HD, an entry level card will be sufficient.
@@noneyabizz8337Not so much anymore.
@@noneyabizz8337my 7800xt has been pretty stable so far. I think the driver issue has been sorted out now.
good bc i was planning to upgrade to an rtx 3060, clicked on this to make sure it was good for the price.
I play Fallout 4 and GTA 5 at 1440p on ultra with my 3060 12gb with only a i7 3770k and 16 gb ddr3. Fantastic card would definitely recommend.
Why does the gtx 1080ti seem to perform better than so many newer cards?
rtx 4060 or rx 7600? i have an r5 5600g and i will mostly play like competitive games like cs2 valo while recording etc. while also coding
Got a 3060 ti founders edition used for just $280 few weeks ago tell you what graphics are amazing and frame rate is high ah👌
Got to remind myself this is $270 USD so in Canadian is stupid expensive with poor exchange rates.
I'd prefer 3060ti
It's way fatser . More vram isn't of much use other than running higher textures. Cause in recent titles the 3060 gets 30-40 less fps than 3060ti .
Also 3060ti can be used in 1444p.
Soo thats my preference
I would pick the 12 gb 3060 over the 3060 ti any day because of that extra vram. with proper cooling u can overclock the 3060 to run as fast as a ti, and still have all that good memory to spare. even without overclocking a few hundred mhz clock speed isn't benefitting the ti much.
i was just searching for the 3060 and 3060 ti on which one i should get and you already posted a video
Didnt they used to say that ti stands for titanium? They no longer use Titanium on the ti?
Guys just to let you know 3060ti is much more near a 3070 then a 3060
Infact with a simple oc you can earn up to the fps that a 3070 does
You can go and Watch a lot of benchmark that shows how 3060ti is still a solid card even for qhd resolution
I currently run an i5 12th and a 3060ti and i play every game in qhd
Community that loves benchmarks know how cyberpunk is a must to Watch in order to have an idea on how a gpu handle games and with some adjustement and dlss i play cyberpunk in qhd 80 to 100 fps
(Sorry for my English)
What does the gb do on a graphics card
Only looking at 12gb and 8gb doesn’t tell you much. It depends on the kind of memory is included.
I run 3060ti on 3440x1440. It works well on Medium/High settings depending on game.
Beware getting it used can run the risk of the seller putting a trashy gpu under the gpu cooler
So now that we talking about RTX, can you say something about RTX 3000/4000 mobile, maybe how to maximize fps, this kind of thing. I personaly have Dell with RTX 3000, i7 9th gen and 64gb of ram. Unfortunately there's not much about it on the internet
Used 5700XT's price is even more attractive tho
Buy the 12gbs for gaming but if you want for creative stuff like streaming, get the 3060 Ti
I want an gpu around 80$ or 7000₹ ☠️
The 3060 ti is perfectly fine for 1440p, I get in fps games in the highest setting 200-300fps and on graphics games like cyberpunk 40-80 fps
On amazon a company called yeston sales a 3060 for 249.99
Still grinding my GTX1080 with my i7 13700kf
Got my 3060 ti brand new for $290, and it's epic. I'm 1440p dunno how you're gonna say you'd recommend the base 3060 over the ti version. I think you're wrong on this. If you can find a 3060 ti for $300 msrp versus the $250 base 3060. You better pick the Ti.
funny thing is a 3060 in my area is $500 to $600 dollars and a 40 series is easily 1k
playing rdr2 at high-ultra 1440p with my rtx 3060 and i7 12700f. It's not just for 1080p, it's a great 1440p card
It is for older games like rdr2 but modern games struggle at 1440p with 8gb vram (3070ti here)
@michubern1444 mw3 gets me 90 fps at 1440p medium-high settings so it's a good 1440p card too (the 12gb version is what I have)
@@Kunorrii its ok for now but not much longer. So its not a 1440p card to buy it was at release
@@michubern1444 maybe, but until i get under 120fps on medium-high settings, ill stick with it. my next upgrade is going to probably be a 4080 or 4060
@@Kunorrii i wait for gta 6 and go from there hehe
ti might run faster, but by about 10fps faster. The difference between 50 fps and 60 fps is really only noticeable if you're specifically looking for the difference. Otherwise, the biggest difference is just a flex
