Julia Stiles Reflects On Memories With Heath Ledger

- Julia Stiles is looking back on some of her classic roles in hit films like “Save The Last Dance” and “10 Things I Hate About You.” She shares memories about her late former co-star Heath Ledger and recalls what an amazing actor and person he was with Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall. “(He was) such an amazing talent and so alive. He lived life to the fullest and every moment he was very present. I see now, I didn’t realize it at the time, he was such a gracious actor. The scene where I’m reading the poem and I start to cry, I did not expect to cry. And we did it in like one or two takes but when we were done, and they were gonna turn the camera around and get his coverage… He didn’t try and compete he said, ‘this is your scene, and I’m just handing it over to you.’ He wasn’t gonna start crying in the scene, he wasn’t gonna try and one up me,” she said The 40-year-old actress also discusses her recent series, “Riviera” and how fun it was to film on location in France. “Riviera” Season 2 starts airing on Ovation TV on May 8th at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET.

@@peytondenverk don’t speak on the matter if you don’t know anything about it he took prescription drugs because he couldn’t sleep and one day he mixed it by accident and he knew they were bad for him and his family and friends did talk to him it just never got to that point bc no one would expect him to mix it

@@kgrace8007 Yeah some voices do change with age, some don't though, her voice I can definitely hear has aged but it's barely noticeable tbh. So it sounds too similar to hear younger voice I've noticed
Wish they would've made a sequel called the Ten Things I Love About You, with Kat being a widow raising her child, and remembering the 10 things that made her fall in love with Patrick.

I've always liked Julia Stiles. She stands out from the rest of Hollywood actresses... Highly underrated talent. Her voice and her look hasn't changed much since, Save The Last Dance.

Heath will always be The Joker. That is, by far, the greatest acting performance I ever witnessed. He truly brought the character to life in a way no one else will ever do.

This will always be one of my favorite romantic comedies and that dance she did on the table was so cute. And Heath was so charming it I watched it again just last week and fell back in love with the movie. And with the iconic soundtrack "I want you to want me" it's just a perfect feel good movie

So glad they focused extra on Save The Last Dance. Often interviewers just want to talk about 10 Things, and to be fair, that is one of my all time favorite movies, but Save The Last Dance was special too. Great mix of powerful emotions and joyous celebrations of dance. Kerry Washington is one of my favorite elements in it, but they are all good.
Love Julia Stiles. I really thought she’d rise up into a movie star. She was super popular for a long while then kind of gradually faded away. She was phenomenal as a supporting actor in Silver Lining Playbook as Jennifer Lawrence’s sister.

Everybody talking about “she looks so different.” People, she’s 40 years old. People’s looks change as they age, it’s not always plastic surgery. Also, she hasn’t really been in the public eye a lot over the years so we haven’t been able to see the subtle changes as she got older. It’s natural. Also, there are these things called makeup and lighting that affect how you look on camera.
Exactly she is in her 40's she does not have a baby face anymore which is natural with age...

Also in State & Maine, a movie not many have seen, but it's really entertaining with a great writer - David Mamet - & cast - Julia, Bill Macy, Sarah Jessica Parker, Phil Hoffman, Rebecca Pigeon, Alec Baldwin...it's lighthearted, but with a great point about the industry & humour - worth the watch. If it were a book I'd say it's a smart light read, an intelligent beach book.

I kept fast-forwarding trying to find the Heath Ledger part. Had to go to 10:00. They talk about Heath Ledger for 8 seconds. “10 Things” didn’t make much sense. At one moment Ledger’s character is a jerk, then with no reason, he changes into this really caring helpful guy.
