if anyones having issues with jumping on the horse what worked for me personally is if you stand a little closer to the head of the horse than directly in the middle beside the saddle it makes it easier, sligjtly uneven ground can help too albeit its less consistent. you can also check the window in which you have to activate the slash by standing beside the horse and jumping normally without recall and youll notice a small window between link leaving the ground and getting on the horse, thats when slash should be activated. happy duping

After trying this for a bit I have a couple notes as a first time glitch user:
-I think you mixed up X (Jump) and Y (Attack) in your explanation. It is much more consistent when I applied the hold and then immediately press the correct way to jump slash.
-I've found a lot of consistency by taking a baby or half step away from the horse. This allows me to jump slash cancel without auto climbing on the horse before the jump slash animation can start. (It just gets tricky because if you step too far you won't climb on the horse as needed)
-I also learned it's valuable to remember how each thrown item works as I blasted myself away with Naydra's fang and left myself with 0 after dying.
To anyone else reading this: it works and I have more diamonds and rupees than I know what to do with now.
True I made a mistake!!! And the babystep is actually very useful, I thought about taking about it in the video but as you said, it´s sometimes tricky because you walk off too far away, so I chose not to
isnt there an easier way of duplicating with one of those Swallowing slimes? I recently saw that, but didnt try yet

OMG IT WORKS!!! To anyone who thinks it won't, try holding a one handed weapon, and hold ZL, then tap L. Make sure your holding your shield and targeting, then open the ability wheel

There is a way easier glitch where you go on minaru and unequipped her vow than watch a memory than hold 4 items than watch another memory then throw the items you held ( if it breaks on impact you can use recall on it ) and once the item is no longer able to be thrown go in your inventory and hold 1 item then drop the items.

I was able to get the actual dupe to work, but im curious as to what the storage glitch part is for if you can only dupe 5 at a time, since you wouldnt need 20/21 on the ground if you just pick them up.
Also, do you have to do the entire glitch over and over for every 5 items? Or once you get it, is there some method that "skips" any part of the glitch?
Nevermind, after doing it a bit, i realized why you store them. You need to go into the negatives to duplicate so you want a low count so youre not throwing 200 items before duplicating just 5
nice that you found that yourself.
And yeah you would have to do the entire glitch over and over, there is a faster glitch but far more complex, if you want to try:

In my opinion that way of doing a jump slash cancel is inconsistent and hard to do, I recommend doing a arrow smuggle to do the jump slash cancel, so long as you can get the like-like stick cull somewhat consistent its easy, fast and super consistent!! Just find any video on how to do an arrow smuggle and use that to do a jump slash cancel onto your horse, do everything else the same! Hope this is helpful :D
No I can’t do culling so no for me it is not working it won’t allow me to hold items i did it perfectly LINK oohhh LINK HE WILL NOT STOP GETTING ON THE HORSE EVERY TRY I HAVE DONE FOR AN HOUR KEEP IN MIND HE JUMPED ON THE HORSE
I see, if you describe in more detail what was going wrong i could try to help. But if it isn't letting you hold items then you did not perform the jump slash cancel correctly or started getting on the horse before opening the menu. You also just need to be going to land on the horse so if you do the jump slash cancel so you are above the horse and going to land on it, opening the menu before you land. that works best for me. Were you doing the arrow smuggle jump slash cancel or the one in this video?Also I feel your frustration i tried a while back a very complex glitch and tried for 3-4 hours before i got to frustrated and walked away, but after a couple more hours of frigging around I finally did it in the end. (several days later)

@@user-lb2hx7ym8g I pulled up the wheel then picked recall AND BEFORE I SWITCHED TO A DIFFERNT ABILTY JUST SO IT CHANGES smash right on the d pad till it shows up without a ball of light on his hand then I dropped the ONE HANDED sword and I have already equipped a shield then I hold Y and immediately click x and plus then I try to drop and it doesn’t have the dropping option. Every time I have tried it link rides the horse I got it I GOT THE DROP once then I did what he said but it didn’t show the bundle or anything on the ground no bundle of any item. Also the slash in the video not the arrow smuggle
@@adamburgess311 I see, yeah i am not familiar with that way of jump slash cancel but it seems to me you did everything right. I am aware what the video shows is not an arrow smuggle what i am saying is that doing an arrow smuggle can give you the same result much easier.

It took me hours to get this down reliably, but it was so much faster than culling once I did. One thing that helped a lot with consistency though, changing swords. I broke the first weapon I was doing it with and just couldn't get the one I switched to after [also one handed] to do it. It was like no matter where I positioned, I couldn't get the animation to start before mounting.
Eventually I switched to a soldier's broadsword though and it immediately worked again.

@@yanggaming3642 not necessarily, I've looked back at the save I was trying the glitch on and the sword that wouldn't complete the move right was a gerudo sword which, after way more playtime, I realize is one of the fastest swords. Presumably I was shortening the window in which I could get whatever frame of the swing I needed.
I have the mech now so it's a moot point, but if the technique ends up being abusable for anything else, it's worth keeping in mind.
[I actually had my best run of duping on a weapon fused with silver moulin horn so it's possible much longer one handed weapons are more forgiving].
@@rivetsquid8887 ah so the take away is that you should use a slow-swing sword, also what you said about silver horn fusing is surprising, so you fuse that to a sword and it makes duping easier? wonderful

Yeah the jump slash cancel this does seem to work. After i drop the weapon in the menu and go into stasis, my dropped weapon is behind me and not in my hand.
hii, after you drop the weapon, it should be behind you, it´s just that you should press Y + X + minus pretty quick to hold items

It works, getting link to jump onto the horse is a bit tricky though
i recommend using the mineru duping method
its hard at the beginning but when you get the hang of it, it is actually quite easy
I have a problem. Every time I hold y and then click x quickly then click + or - blah blah blah it just makes me get on the horse instead of doing the smash thing

didn't work. I could never get on the horse after the jump cancel. i could get through all the steps up until after holding more items after watching the memory. Everything works up until then. When I unpause, i just fall to the floor. Did they fix this glitch too?

There's Like-Like culling. It's a little complex, but it allows you to change equipment you don't want into equipment you do want (like sacrificing a Boko bow for a Great Eagle bow). I think he has a video about it in his channel.
It doesn't work for the simple fact that link always drops a sword before he is able to jump slash.

Can you farm large zonai charges? and horns from the constructs?
the horns and zonai charges can only be duplicated untill you have 21 of them, the dispenser storage glitch won´t work!

diamond is the most expensive item, and molduga jaw or gibdo bone are the strongest fuse items

I practiced without the horse and I GOT IT WOOOOO THANK YOU
I did some research and found out you NEED to be using a ONE HANDED weapon. Otherwise you either get onto the horse too early, or you’ll still be holding the items after you watch the memory. Also make sure you let the memory load completely before skipping it.
Edit: just some tweaks for better understanding

Doesn't seem to work for me. Everytime I get the jump cancel timed right so that I am able to hold items and will eventually end up on the horse, the items I hold won't disappear if I watch a memory but are still in links hand so no way to hold them again
Others are saying take a baby step away from the horse first.
@@thespook1482 did that, same result. Procedure looks like shown in the Video except that in the Video, after the memory was played, links hands were empty again. That's not the case for me.

just keep playing normally until u unlock the memory
If you have completed the beginning part of the game (The Great Sky Island area) then you should have at least one memory which is the opening cut scene when you start the game.

That happened to me too at first ... you're not doing the jump attack exactly right ... HOLD the jump button and press the attack button (while still holding jump) and hold both while pressing + or - ... I have to lay my controller down to be able to hold both Y and X while hitting + or -

This is a great duping glitch! but when i duped my diamonds correctly the bundle fell in the water.
