To anyone who wasn't there....We absolutely blew the roof off that stadium. The number one complaint from the judges was this was an "outdoor" show. Obviously we had an outdoor show. What kind of high school has a dome???
We were by far the loudest band of the 81 who showed up! Not only that, but we had the hardest music, hardest marching choreography, and almost the highest number of members on the field.
The best part of it all was the very first note on the first time we played. I think half the judges had heart attacks from the explosion of sound! When we heard it on the field, it sent chills up our backs! We had never played in a dome, and the echo was mind numbing!
Okay...the fireworks before finals were pretty good too!!!
