Pioneers Victoria Falls Lodge finally opened its doors in 2021 and is surrounded by lush, verdant gardens. Pioneers Lodge is situated in a quiet suburb, 2km from the town center of Victoria Falls Town and 2.5km from the Park entrance to the Victoria Falls, both easily accessed via a cheap taxi ride from Pioneers, which they will organize for you.
From what we have seen of Pioneer Lodge, we are very impressed. Considering the excellent reputation of their well established and popular sister Lodge, Batonka, with their experienced management, we are positive that Pioneers Victoria Falls will become a big hit very quickly.
Pioneers Victoria Falls Lodge has two good size swimming pools and a large main area. Due to its generous lay-out the lodge exudes a sense of generous space in a rural setting but maintains a feeling of intimacy and privacy in and around the rooms.
When booking Pioneers Victoria Falls Lodge, it is worth keeping in mind the excellent price-value this brand-new lodge offers, even if it does not offer the same history or proximity to the Victoria Falls as some other hotels such as Victoria Falls Hotel (which is much more expensive). It is just a short taxi ride (or a longer 15-minute walk) into the center of town or down to the Victoria Falls entrance.
