This is funny. Back in '85, we went to visit my Aunt & Uncle in Florida, and my Uncle wanted us to see his new fishing boat. We crossed over a small bridge to get to the boat, and my Aunt yells, "Oh look! The gators are all over!!" my Uncle just gets in that small boat like it was nothing! He says, "come on! Let's go for a boat ride!" Hubby and I looked at each other and said together, "HECK NO!"

My wife and I take golf cart cruises (we call them sunset cruises) with our golden doodle, Max, and our daughters around our neighborhood during the warm months in Kentucky. I look forward to those cruises in that area one day. So nice.
Thank you. This cart ride video was awesome. Once the Water Lilly Bridge is done, I can venture over the turnpike and explore more on my electric bike. I used to ride 40-50 miles three times a week. Not anymore. Thanks to electric bikes I can still venture farther than I should.

Watching you drive across the bridge I felt like you were going to hit the oncoming carts head-on. It looks like you are straddling the yellow line. Every time I'd see one coming I thought, "Move over a little, Jerry!" ;)
Hi Jerry and Linda, certainly some nice scenery there. How did you get across before the bridges were built? They certainly have plenty of land to build on there. Your electricity towers at 14:33 are identical to what they use here in Australia and also even in New Zealand. Love all the tunnels. Near Lithgow NSW, west of Sydney Australia, they have ten tunnels in a row for the trains to pass through. Anyway, take care. Robert.
Hi Robert, We took a more dangerous route, by riding over the auto bridge that spanned the turnpike. There is a lane on one side that is marked off for walkers and/or cyclists.

I guess since that bridge just opened, it wasn't available a few months ago. I don't know if I'd want to build new again. We built new 3 times since 1989. Went to Hawkins in the Club Car back in October. The path from Bradford to Hawkins wasn't officially open yet, but I like to explore. Went to the Chitty Chatty and Bradford pools, that makes a total of 104 Villages pools so far. It was quite a trip from the Village of Springdale. (look it up).
I came to the "Villages" with my Parents as a young girl.. Initially it was a Mobile home community on US 441 advertised and a few homes built by Del Webb .. Early 65's .. My dad was interested in purchasing property that was really dirt cheap... I think he did and then later sold at a profit.. We lived in Orlando
My parents moved us down here when I was 14 in 1996. The Villages was that same trailer park and hospital basically between Belleview and Leesburg. So crazy how the area has exploded.
That was great. We live in Fenney and look forward to a trip in our cart. I kind of wish you had done the full loop from Brownwood and all the way back to Brownwood so we could see how long that whole loop takes. Maybe 1 hour?
I live in Linden and have driven both sides of the turnpike in a golf cart. I think it will take about 30 min to get from the Fenney rec center to the square in Brownwood. It took less than 10 min for we to get from Brownwood to the north side of the waterlily bridge.
After the Chaos today, a pleasant tour. I am glad that you have GPS, a huge place. Perhaps you could replace Linda’s windshield with the folding type? As for lakes. I do agree living with a view is better, I love living on a lake in my development. It sounds like you have a lot of choices. I agree with Linda, Kayaking with alligators is not fun.
