Mr. Piovano plays a cello Francesco Ruggeri “detto il Per” (Cremona, 1692), on generous loan from Francesco Micheli. Luigi Piovano at age seventeen graduated upon finishing his studies with celebrated cellist and pedagogue Radu Aldulescu. He then went on to receiving a diploma in cello performance and chamber music in Paris. After the year 2000 he has been increasingly engaging himself as a conductor, and has held the post of Artistic Director and Conductor of the Musici Aurei since founding the ensemble in 2002 ... In 2012 he has been appointed Music Director of the Orchestra della Magna Grecia in Taranto and from 2013 to 2017 he has been Music Director of the Roma Tre Orchestra in Rome.
Even the music notation writing of this genius is beautiful!
And perfectly readable even now 300 years later. Even better readable than most printed editions of that time.
Viva Vivaldi!

Thank you very much for the above valuable information!
Happy Thanksgiving!
That third movement... that's one of those examples of Vivaldi at his most inimitable. Probably the kind of thing that Quantz objected to lol.
