Looks like a decent bike. Somewhere between the Stark Varg and Surron Ultra Bee. Compared to the Ultra Bee it is heavier (240 lbs vs 190), bigger battery (5.5 kWh vs 4.1), a little more peak power to the motor (19.2 kw vs 12.5), same seat height (35.8"), wider wheel base (57.3" vs 54.3) and better suspension. Slow to charge with the charger being only 660W vs the UB's 1,020W charger. Very interested to know what the price point will be.
Battery-WMTC range 130 km....*** With Rider weight 40 kg, tailwind, going downhill @ 20 kmh *** Probably be more like 60 km range That's what I get on my Ultra. I'm OK with that but I wish they wouldn't sugar coat these specs.
Will never purchase another KTM group bike again. I'm going Stark for my next ride. Just the fact Stark talks to their customers with issues AND FIXES THEM FOR FREE (even adding new features and extending range for free) is enough for me. I dont need to be gas lit by the OEM+Dealer telling me its all in my head and must be something I did.
I pre ordered a stark when they were first taking deposits. Not only was the date set forward over a year but also dealers when there was no dealers at that time were selling the bikes before I could get mine. Never will I trust the stark brand for any sort of customer satisfaction.
@@dirtbike_viking i guess they all suck! the 18/19 ktm tpi bikes had loads of issues that the dealers had no idea how to fix. we finally got the fix in the 2020/21 models and the rest of us had to buy TSP mods.
They are going to sell a ton of these. People that don't like electric are missing the point, it's going to be better. It's not about being green. If dirt bikes are quiet we'll be able to ride way more places, and we'll stop losing riding areas. Out of sight/sound, out of mind.
In my opinion electric motorcycles should be just a segment to choose from for a potential user. It's a shame that combustion motorcycles are fading away so quickly.
Please ktm/ husqvarna just bring the free ride 4t back to the USA!!! Ktm/husqvarna need something with 4t or 2t with the same dimensions to compete with beta xtrainer! Make it street legal would be a bonus! I'd sell my 2016 excf 350 for it!

Nice comparison. I just don’t understand how Surron is claiming 440nm of torque and husqvarna only 37nm..
One is the engines torq, the other the torq after transmission measured at the rear wheel i guess.

240lb is less than Graham Jarvis race bike weighs with a full tank of gas..

Gas is more practical, but electric is more fun :). If you live close to riding areas and need homologation, this looks like a great option.
If the price is near the Stark I’ll still be getting a Stark. But if it’s £2,000 cheaper…
Stark has triple the peak power. This would have to sell for 30% less to be competitive.

For me it should be at least 4000 cheaper to get this instead of the Stark
I'll pay Varg price for this it's a 7/8 sized bike and it's definitely going to be better in tight Woods.

Lol I was thinking the same. The ultra claims to get 140km, I can barely get 50. These numbers are pure false advertising
It's impossible so far with current battery technology to get more without building a weight similar to Harley-Davidson
