- A drive from New York City to Montauk Point at the Eastern tip of Long Island in Suffolk County with @TheNYCWalkingShow . I start from Astoria, Queens and get on the Grand Central Parkway to the Long Island Expressway. I get off at Exit 70 and take County Road 111 to NYS Route 27 to Montauk Point.

Except Montauk is actually a nice place with a beach. The water there is definitely cleaner than Coney Island.

I have been to Montauk Long Island and even Tanger Outlet and Splish Splash water park. There is a last Kmart in NY which is located at Bridgehampton shopping center on the left. ( FY) It is called Martha Stuart Kmart and she would appeared there to sign merchant stuff. 2:13:25
I frequent tanger outlets and splish splash back in the good ole days.
I just visited that Kmart this month was so awesome to see it. Bought a few things from there

I've never been east of Rosedale near JFK. I've always wanted to go to Amityville, and then do this drive out to the end of the Island. Piece of trivia - in the book JAWS, the town of Amity was, in fact, located on the eastern edges of Long Island between Napeague and Montauk. 😉

I’ve heard that also before that Queens and Brooklyn is part of Long Island. However, the people is Long Island don’t want to be associated with Queens and Brooklyn. I lived right on the borderline of rosedale and valley stream by the mall. Most of my outings were mainly in Long Island.

A long time ago I lived in Bridgehampton and Sagaponack. I say often " before the Hamptons became The Hamptons." Loving this vid, Ken, and the bike ride one a few years back through the Hamptons. You almost rode your bike and drove by my old house. Cheers from Northern California.

Action Kid I love your videos & gave you a thumbs up but u-tube had far too many ads in this, like every 3 to 5 minutes. Insane. Had to keep picking up remote to hit "skip ad" feature, & lots of times you couldn't even do it for 25, even 40 or 50 seconds. Really takes away from the ambiance of these videos.

I live right near Huntington these days in Syosset. I was going out to hang in Huntington from around 1984 onwards. Was better back in the day, had two bookstores,
a record store or two, and other things. Great pubs, bars, clubs, etc. Now it's more "hipster" but not as good. Food isn't as good. It's ok. The Cinema Arts Centre there
is fantastic, and always was, though.
It would be cool if there were a map somewhere with an actual position like in games, for example in the lower right corner.
