Colin is an amazing actor, he played in that episode four versions of his character (real Hook, Wish old Hook, Wish young Hook and Rogers) and he managed to make them different from each other but with Killian's essence. He was fantastic as always. But this season, and especially this Wish Realm plot makes no sense. It was established that Killian and Emma belong with each other in any realm, time and VERSION, that's why Wish Hook was searching for Emma to break the curse in his heart and save his daughter. But it seems they are trying to pair him with someone else, disrespectful. They also gave him a daughter through rape and he couldn't even confront his sex assaulter, he just accepted it and took care of his child. Stop with the rape thing, OUAT. It looks like the writers took the easiest way out to explain Jen/Emma's absence and the consequences that follow Hook's storyline, but they could have done much better. Sadly, this just doesn't feel anymore like the show I fell in love with.

Why does everyone hate on Hook? Yeah it might’ve taken him longer to fully become the Hook we know and love, but just because wish realm Hook gave up his revenge earlier doesn’t mean our Hook is worse than him. Wish realm Hook had to give up his revenge for his daughter because she needed him and he cared for her. Our Hook still spent another 29 years waiting for his revenge, but once he fell in love with Emma he chose to change for her. To be better man for her which includes giving up his revenge. When looking for Maui’s fish hook, instead of going right back to free Alice like he promised, he stayed behind because he had to prove he was still the most fearsome pirate in all the realms. His pride is what got him cursed in the first place. So he’s not that perfect. During this moment we’re not supposed to know what wish realm Hook’s plan with Emma was. As far as we knew he just wanted to take our Hook’s place for selfish reasons. Our Hook fought wish realm Hook to protect Emma, and the knife was wish realm Hook’s and in the fight he ended up stabbing himself. Once our Hook learned the truth, he begged Emma to save him. If our Hook fought to protect his ego, then he wouldn’t care that wish realm Hook was dying. Wish realm Hook had 30+ years to become who he is now. I bet in 30+ our Hook will be the same.

If both Captain Hooks got Henry's message, shouldn't both Reginas (the original one and the split one introduced at the end of season 5 who lived happily ever after with wish Robin) also have gotten the message? Season 7 sort of pretended Regina 2.0 didn't exist even though she would have naturally been the person Henry turned to when he went back to Enchanted Forest 1.0 to cut down the magic tree. She had magic powers and all of the memories that Regina 1.0 had of raising Henry so she would have naturally helped him
It was Hook’s bottle. He probably had to tell Regina, and if what you say is true then Emma would’ve had to come too but she’s didn’t because he told her to stay behind.

Admittedly this would’ve been better as a sequel show but hey it had powerful fucking moments Regina finally getting recognition for her efforts (long over due), every moment with Lucy (so well done a perfect addition to the Swan family) every moment with Dr Facilier (a powerful presence even with what little bit they actually used him) and of course Rumples story arc leading up to his final redemption (excuse me someone’s cutting onions in the other room but I will not bitch because I recognize that sometimes dishes need onions) A downgrade compared to the rest of the show but it still had that once upon a time smell
That was...kinda the point. Drunk Hook wanted to put our Hook off his guard, so he tried to pass himself off as a drunkard. Believe it or not, he doesn't carry around that posh of an accent anymore.
