Gotta admire Robbie Kay's performance. I can't have been easy to play a character that's a beloved children's hero and turn him into a despicable conniving evil demon child.
the original story of Peter pan was quite interesting. Peter was loving and cheeky, but he also killed pirates and lost boys for fun whenever he got bored with life. Sadly, the real "Peter" was a lil demon child too. 😂
I love how Pan and Rumple keep trying to top each other(it runs in the family). "Oh I'd like to see that." "Oh you will." The manners match perfectly. Great actors, both of them.

I don't know if I'd say that. He felt abandoned and betrayed by him, and was hurt by his betrayal. However, unlike Rumple who regretted selfishly leaving his son for power, and really did love Bae, Pan/Malcolm never cared much for Rumple, and he never came back for him.
I guess you could say that Rumple still loved his father, just as much as Bae/Neal still loved Rumple, despite all he has done, but in the end Rumple came to see that his father would never change and knew that he needed to kill him.
I hoped that they would keep Pan as the main villain for the whole season 3…. he was wonderful! even topped Cora as the most evil villain ever in OUAT)) and I would have liked to see Rumple killing Pan, but at the very end!
Why is it that nobody in season 5 seems to remember this moment? Yes, Rumple has loused up. A lot. Yes, he's been the bad guy. But he also *killed himself* to stop Pan, and then spent a year in the clutches of a psychotic witch, after absorbing his son into his body to try to preserve his life, and then he still had to watch him die! That's got to be a little emotionally traumatizing!
+Coral Roper Well he's been more of a bad guy than a good guy. He has to work for it more and more and then stop caring about if the others take it or not. It's his choice/life after all. But I don't mind him being evil/or just bad. He just has to remember everything is coming with it's price.
This scene makes you wonder if the sear wasn't referring to Henry when she told Rumple that a young boy would be his undoing. As for the line "villains don't get happy endings", that's one of the best lines in the show, because the reality every world out there.
I think that the seer saw Henry leading rumple to bae In her vision and saw pan in Henry’s body being rumple’s undoing and she assumed it was the same person.
Honestly, season 3 is the best in my eyes! Peter Pan's arc is so wonderfully well written... Rumple is truly fantastic... He put his resentment aside to team up with Hook, Regina and the others. He obtained forgiveness from his son, he sacrificed himself for the woman and the people he loved... And the plot twist when we actually learn the story of Peter Pan, that he is the father by Rumple... Just wow... what a tragic story

I really really wish that Rumble’s dad was the shadow like that was the way for him to avoid death and he was just using peter (who’s just a boy) as a pawn and they’d help peter so he could get a happy ending. Because Peter Pan was my favorite story growing up and I hate seeing him as a villain like this.

Ikr! Rumple literally sacrificed himself for everyone and finally did something truly heroic and selfless and the only one who seemed to care at all was belle! If I remember correctly the next line that got cut off here was from Emma to Regina and she says something like “are you okay Regina?” When belle is literally a broken sobbing mess on the ground. Smh. I always got the feeling that belle and rumple were unfairly ostracized by the heroes as they were accepting of other former villains like hook and Regina. It becomes even more clearer that the show is biased against rumpbelle when only 2 people show up for their wedding and the entire town gets together and does a musical number for Emma and hooks wedding. It’s stupid especially considering rumple is the reason for most of the events that occurred including snow and charming’s pairing. He gets very little credit
Spoilers I still can't decide whether I'm glad they brought him back or not, even 3 years later. I love, love, love Rumple with all my heart, but after this and the crap he went through with Zelena his entire motive lost its edge. He hasn't been the same since season 3... I don't mean he should have stayed exactly the same forever, but unfortunately the changes in his character have made him quite a bit less interesting. It's a shame because Rumple's background is so complex, and let's face it: season 1 Rumple was freaking fabulous. Respect to Robert Carlyle for his practically flawless portrayal of this crazy guy. The midseason 6 finale was pretty exciting however, particularly in regard to Rumple and his family... so hopefully something interesting will come of it.
From my point of view, in season 1 he was the main villain with regina, in season 2 he was like regina hesitated to become nice, in season 3 he finally began to become a hero in season 4 , He finally had his happy ending with Belle but he has spoiled everything and in season 5 have realized that the only thing that loves as much as belle is black magic
I still can't get over how absolutely powerful this scene is from 1:17 on.. Rumple and Peter's story was incredibly tragic, especially if this had been their ending. As much as I love Rumple/Robert, this ending would've done so much justice for his character. Too bad for all the crap that his character has piled over this act.. Also would've loved to see more about these two, like who Rumple's mother was and what happened to her, or Felix and Peter's background too.. those stories would've been interesting as well.
I mean did he ? His happy ending was to be with Baelfire and he ended up dead due to one of his former students. He got a happy ending, but not the one he wanted.

Rumple died with honor. Then he just came back as a true villain who always choose power over love. In season 3A (3x01-3x11) he chose love over power and finally killed himself. That also made sense with his prophecy he had: Through Henry he will die. And that happened. Then he came back and was just so stupid. So much problems with Belle in season 4,5 and 6 and just in the last 2 episodes she talks to him like "let's forget everything you did to me after you came back from the death". For me a lot of things have changed since 3x11 ended. This was the last episode that made sense in my eyes. I mean from season 1 until season 3A it is said that rumple created the curse.... In season 4 we see that he stole sthe curse from a monster and in season 6 it is said that his mother created it. They just wanted to create a "mother of all evil" with the black fairy. Seriously? She was so lame as a villain. Cora was the only villain who could be called mother of all evil. She was truly scary. Also the fact that Neal died and Emma had to choose hook over Neal. I mean everyone who saw season 2 was like "They come back together (Emma and Neal)" but season 3B has changed everything.... I mean it already started in season 3A that hook starts loving Emma out of nowhere. I don't know. Zelena doesn't make much sense. She was never mentioned ever before and then she appears out of nowhere and is suddenly Regina's sister. My idea would have been: They come back from neverland in 3x10 and then Pan is in Henry's Body. But they just find it out in 3x18 or something. Mulan, Robin hood and Aurora find a way to come to storybrooke (I don't know yet how. But that would have been nice). Then in 3x19 and 3x20 are the Time Travel Episode but Emma travels there with Neal. And 3x22 would have been Pan casting the curse. So 3x11 would come 11 episodes later. So we have a 22-episodes-arc like in season 1 and 2. In my opinion it would be able for Neal to go with Emma and Henry. In the first episode of season 4 Neal proposes for Emma. As she says something someone knocks on her door: it's not hook this time. It's August. Blue and his father transformed him back because they are all in danger and only Emma can save them from the new villains. After August brought Emma to remember again they go to storybrooke and find out that the town still exists. But the people in there are not here. So Reginas curse just sent them all back but it didn't destroy the town. Emma then finds Jeffersons hat and they go back. In 4x04 or earlier they reunite with all the others and the rest of the season is just about fighting in the enchanted forest. I mean it would make sense if everyone lives there at the end because snow and charming planned that in the middle of season 2.
I HOPE that they'll find a way to bring Rumple back to life, too. Not only because of his fans, me included, but also because Belle deserves her Happy End, with him together! She was one of the heros all the time. And maybe villains deserve no Happy End, but Heros do! Beauty needs her beast, they can't destroy her live! And no one but him could fix her broken heart, because it's #truelove ! :(

I know most are upset about Rumple, but I'm sure he's alive. Maybe not in the best condition, but alive. I'm most upset that Robbie is gone :(. He could've stayed as Henry and ridden off with Emma at the end, but no. I will miss that boy and his amazingness.
I'm sure, Rumple soul is caught on the dagger, or something like that... I will miss Robbie Kay too... He is way better than the actor who play Henry, it would have be so awesome if Henry were still trapped in his body.

In my opinion they should have ended the series at this episode. Everyone going back to the Forest. Emma and Henry getting their happy ending together and Emma gets to Raise her son. And have Neal go with them, giving Emma a chance to make a family the way she always wanted. It would have been perfect.

The villains in Once are honestly my favorites especially the ones that turned good like rumple, Hook, Regina, I feel like they can be more relatable than snow or charming. Pan didn’t turn good but he was still a character I liked 😂
Broo Rumples mum and dad were evil asf and rumple still managed to become good, the reason he was bad at the start was because bae killed the kid and rumple erased his memory and convinced him he did it and then rumple still became good man

SPOILER of 3x11: I a so disappointed that Robbie Kay is already out of the show... I hoped so hard that they couldn't bring Henry back in his body and that he had to keep Peter's body... I am so sad, I loved this actor SO much, he was the best of the show.

For those wondering why Peter Pan couldn't just fly away or teleport like he usually does well it's complicated but I'll try to explain it the best I can, When Rumple calls upon his shadow to give him his dagger the shadow fused back with Rumple but at the same time it also fused together with Peter Pan meaning they were now connected through Rumple's shadow thus why Pan couldn't move But man it was tough to witness him die he was my favourite character in the whole series and I just felt like they introduced him way too early because after this season it just felt so usual and not as Exciting as when Peter Pan was there
I like to think that in this moment, Rumple finally ignored the pull of the darkness. If the specter of the Dark One haunts the next one, I can picture all of them around him, screaming to not let go of the darkness, that he needs it and that he can't just kill their power after all the years he put into cultivating it. Nimue is probably screaming the loudest, just like she did to Emma "Don't got back to being nothing!", trying her hardest to make him listen and stop. But, Rumple ignores all of them, and finally chooses light and love over darkness and fear. Even though he'd been a coward from birth and craved power, even though he was terrified to let go, he still took the leap of faith for the love of his son and Belle. He still accepted his fate, as he put it "no loopholes". This hands down, is one of my favorite Rumple moments.

100%ly agree. But after this episode the writing became trash. Rumples's arc should've ended here. He came so far and when he was resurrected in season 3B his character development went just back to 0. Every season actually. Season 5 begging he became a hero, season 5 ending he was the dark one again.
@@onceuponatime2.051 yeah, I would have definitely stopped watching the show after this. If they didn't bring back rumple, I would have been out. He was their best character. Narrative wise I explain it away as evil is harder to be snuffed out in someone and rumple was evil. His strength is that he outsmarts, he's the ultimate underdog and being that those are his skills his story makes sense to me. He was also the most powerful of them and I loved that their stories were connected with his. I'm just a rumple fan. I'll make any excuse to bring him back. His scenes are the best and his swag is LIT. I can see your point but I'll never 100% agree. His character was just that great for me! Haha
The only thing I don't like about Rumple and Pan is that they both seem to ignore Baelfire, who is just as much of an adult(and a 300-year old) as they are. They give the two of them all those badass moments while I try to remember who the heck Neal even is!! I know that unlike the two of them, Neal is a hero, but consider that he could've very easily gone down Rumple's path had the situation been tweaked.
TBH Bae is of only importance to Rumple and little bit to Henry. I don't see anyone else loves him.Emma says she does but I think she is into that Pirate of Jolly roger, which is very creepy, knowing that Bae and Hook shared father and son like bonding when Bae was young. Neal importance = Henry's father and Rumple's son. That's it.

I still can't get over how absolutely powerful this scene is from 1:17 on.. Rumple and Peter's story was incredibly tragic, especially if this had been their ending. As much as I love Rumple/Robert, this ending would've done so much justice for his character. Too bad for all the crap that his character has piled over this act.. Also would've loved to see more about these two, like who Rumple's mother was and what happened to her, or Felix and Peter's background too.. those stories would've been interesting as well.

Rumple died with honor. Then he just came back as a true villain who always choose power over love. In season 3A (3x01-3x11) he chose love over power and finally killed himself. That also made sense with his prophecy he had: Through Henry he will die. And that happened.
Then he came back and was just so stupid. So much problems with Belle in season 4,5 and 6 and just in the last 2 episodes she talks to him like "let's forget everything you did to me after you came back from the death".
For me a lot of things have changed since 3x11 ended. This was the last episode that made sense in my eyes. I mean from season 1 until season 3A it is said that rumple created the curse.... In season 4 we see that he stole sthe curse from a monster and in season 6 it is said that his mother created it. They just wanted to create a "mother of all evil" with the black fairy. Seriously? She was so lame as a villain. Cora was the only villain who could be called mother of all evil. She was truly scary.
Also the fact that Neal died and Emma had to choose hook over Neal. I mean everyone who saw season 2 was like "They come back together (Emma and Neal)" but season 3B has changed everything.... I mean it already started in season 3A that hook starts loving Emma out of nowhere.
I don't know. Zelena doesn't make much sense. She was never mentioned ever before and then she appears out of nowhere and is suddenly Regina's sister.
My idea would have been:
They come back from neverland in 3x10 and then Pan is in Henry's Body. But they just find it out in 3x18 or something. Mulan, Robin hood and Aurora find a way to come to storybrooke (I don't know yet how. But that would have been nice).
Then in 3x19 and 3x20 are the Time Travel Episode but Emma travels there with Neal. And 3x22 would have been Pan casting the curse. So 3x11 would come 11 episodes later. So we have a 22-episodes-arc like in season 1 and 2. In my opinion it would be able for Neal to go with Emma and Henry. In the first episode of season 4 Neal proposes for Emma. As she says something someone knocks on her door: it's not hook this time. It's August. Blue and his father transformed him back because they are all in danger and only Emma can save them from the new villains. After August brought Emma to remember again they go to storybrooke and find out that the town still exists. But the people in there are not here. So Reginas curse just sent them all back but it didn't destroy the town. Emma then finds Jeffersons hat and they go back. In 4x04 or earlier they reunite with all the others and the rest of the season is just about fighting in the enchanted forest. I mean it would make sense if everyone lives there at the end because snow and charming planned that in the middle of season 2.
This is my favorite scene in this whole show, it was just everything, perfect story, perfect acting, perfect lines, perfect timing. 🤧😭
I HOPE that they'll find a way to bring Rumple back to life, too.
Not only because of his fans, me included, but also because Belle deserves her Happy End, with him together!

In my opinion they should have ended the series at this episode. Everyone going back to the Forest. Emma and Henry getting their happy ending together and Emma gets to Raise her son. And have Neal go with them, giving Emma a chance to make a family the way she always wanted. It would have been perfect.

For those wondering why Peter Pan couldn't just fly away or teleport like he usually does well it's complicated but I'll try to explain it the best I can,
When Rumple calls upon his shadow to give him his dagger the shadow fused back with Rumple but at the same time it also fused together with Peter Pan meaning they were now connected through Rumple's shadow thus why Pan couldn't move
But man it was tough to witness him die he was my favourite character in the whole series and I just felt like they introduced him way too early because after this season it just felt so usual and not as Exciting as when Peter Pan was there

I like to think that in this moment, Rumple finally ignored the pull of the darkness. If the specter of the Dark One haunts the next one, I can picture all of them around him, screaming to not let go of the darkness, that he needs it and that he can't just kill their power after all the years he put into cultivating it. Nimue is probably screaming the loudest, just like she did to Emma "Don't got back to being nothing!", trying her hardest to make him listen and stop. But, Rumple ignores all of them, and finally chooses light and love over darkness and fear. Even though he'd been a coward from birth and craved power, even though he was terrified to let go, he still took the leap of faith for the love of his son and Belle. He still accepted his fate, as he put it "no loopholes". This hands down, is one of my favorite Rumple moments.

100%ly agree. But after this episode the writing became trash. Rumples's arc should've ended here. He came so far and when he was resurrected in season 3B his character development went just back to 0. Every season actually. Season 5 begging he became a hero, season 5 ending he was the dark one again.
@@onceuponatime2.051 yeah, I would have definitely stopped watching the show after this. If they didn't bring back rumple, I would have been out. He was their best character. Narrative wise I explain it away as evil is harder to be snuffed out in someone and rumple was evil. His strength is that he outsmarts, he's the ultimate underdog and being that those are his skills his story makes sense to me. He was also the most powerful of them and I loved that their stories were connected with his. I'm just a rumple fan. I'll make any excuse to bring him back. His scenes are the best and his swag is LIT. I can see your point but I'll never 100% agree. His character was just that great for me! Haha

The only thing I don't like about Rumple and Pan is that they both seem to ignore Baelfire, who is just as much of an adult(and a 300-year old) as they are. They give the two of them all those badass moments while I try to remember who the heck Neal even is!!
I know that unlike the two of them, Neal is a hero, but consider that he could've very easily gone down Rumple's path had the situation been tweaked.
TBH Bae is of only importance to Rumple and little bit to Henry. I don't see anyone else loves him.Emma says she does but I think she is into that Pirate of Jolly roger, which is very creepy, knowing that Bae and Hook shared father and son like bonding when Bae was young. Neal importance = Henry's father and Rumple's son. That's it.
