That's a pretty cool build! I like a lot of your ideas. I like the way you set up the two LED lights with the ram mounts. I like the way you set up your bike holders. Overall wicked overland build! Stay safe!
2nd Gen love always gets my attention as I have an 07 Taco. Loved the intro video & nice work on the walk around. Looking forward to checking your channel. Sub'd
Very nice setup, my only complaint is that the fridge is way too far in the back, makes it difficult just to grab a drink from it, you have to pull the whole thing out just to get a soda out of it. Other than that your setup is nice. :)
Do you know where you got the mounts for the lights at the top of the rear roof racks> I know you said Ram Gimbals but were there any bracket attachments you needed to purchase? Thanks.
Which tonneau cover is that? I have a 2g Taco as well with the hard ARE cover and want to replace it so that I can have the ability to add the Max Modular bed rack.
Sweet build BootnCrank, it's certainly a "clean" look; Lots of "Quality of Life" additions which. Mechanically I'd agree it's pretty minimalist and not overdone for what you do. Though you forgot to mention the Blue Raspberry Freeze from Taco Bell! Gotta keep the driver cool right? :P
sick build!! I have a 06 tacoma & have been slowly modifying it! which build would you recommend first? 1. ditch lights 2. hidden bumper light bar or 3. new wheels?
The hidden bumper light bar was one of the first mods I did first. Between all my lights too I almost exclusively use the bumper light bar over my roof bar and ditch lights.
I'm puzzled as to why you only needed a CMC on the driver side and not the passengers side also. Something has to be out of spec... Or, am I missing something here?
Frame geometry is slightly different between the passenger and driver side with passenger side already having maybe half an inch extra clearance. My buddy only had time to do the driver side which absolutely needed it but the passenger side rarely rubs only on a very fast, tight turn, where the cab really articulates. So for the most part I just havnt bothered to do it since its not much of a problem.
I also have the ikamper mini on my 3rd gen Tacoma. Looking for a new bed rack and really like the KB Voodoo racks. How do you like yours? I'd live to use the 2.0 mounts instead of the 1.0 that your using. Have you tried any other mounting configurations on that rack. I am thinking about the long bed 14" rack. Thanks.
Me and my buddies use exclusively KB Voodoo and theyre awesome. As far as I know there is no way of using the 2.0 mounts on Voodoo racks. Its just a height issue and the 2.0 brackets are moreover made for tubular shaped racks from the looks of it.
Cool video! Have you had any issues with your CV axles caused by the lift? My drivers side cv axle has a torn boot and im wondering if it has anything to do with the lift throwing off angles. Thanks.
Sorr for late reply, yes I have had drive side CV axle issues. I've replaced two so far in the last 2 years but after the 2nd I installed a clamshell bushing which alleviates spindle wear due to the change in angle. No issues since!
Forgot to mention those. They're an amazon special; "AKKON U-TUBE Halogen Smoke Edition". I like the overall design but they are cheap, the seal actually broke on the driver side as soon as I put the hood down after installing them. So I wouldn't exactly recommend them.
A very offbrand one from Amazon but its called the "VBENLEM 35L" its a great budget fridge but isn't as efficient as a higher end one like dometic so it has been draining my 500w battery pretty quickly.
SWEET rig! Looking forward to more trip content.

The ram mounts are extremely useful, especially for late night camp setup and Max modular makes solid racks with plenty of add-ons.
I really love this channel. Very relatable person and good quality content. Cheers👍🏽
i have an 09 tacoma and my build will probably end up looking very similar to yours. nice work
Thanks, Good luck with your build!
I use Ram Mounts for my cell phone in my Jeep and my two motorbikes. Using for a camp light is pretty brilliant mate.
Looks great man, nothing too crazy, not necessary to do so on these great trucks.
How many miles does that beauty have now?
Nice build!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the sliding kitchen. How do you build it?
Taco Tunes... Jaimie 😂
did you ever make a video on your kitchen build? Its almost exactly what I am looking to do. Wondering how you attached it to the bed.

Very good build..more blessings to u from Sc
Awesome video
Great video

Damn, raspberry freeze next time!
Awesome truck man 🤘
Thanks 👍
Nice build!
Good info... thanks for sharing.

@@PacificRoamer Sweet! Thank you!
like what you did.
Really curious what headlights those are, I need a new set for my 2011 and I’m really interested in the style of those
Axxon U-Tube from Amazon; I like the look but they're pretty cheap and do leak water when I go mudding.
I just bought a 05 taco imgllad i found your channel. Im the same way i don't want all the fancy stuff
Honestly even in most situations a lot of stuff isn't needed. I feel too boujee with the IKamper already lol
@@PacificRoamer i agree, but ehh the kamper is cool and you use it. Do you have an instagram channel for this content as well?
What headlights are those?

The cell booster will only work if you have service!
I'm actually about to film a year review! I've had great success with it, even when my phone had zero connection.
What year is this truck and jow many miles are currently on it
2010, still rolling good at 131K
What’s the width on the tires? Great setup. 👍🏻.
Current tire width is 285mm or 11.2inches
@@PacificRoamer Excellent choice 👍🏻

Nice. What is the name of the Rack?
The company that makes this rack is called Max Modular!

Get a diff drop

Great video, are your headlights from Tacoma Beast The Projector Headlight Bar DRL?
Forgot to mention those. They're an amazon special; "AKKON U-TUBE Halogen Smoke Edition". I like the overall design but they are cheap, the seal actually broke on the driver side as soon as I put the hood down after installing them. So I wouldn't exactly recommend them.
@@PacificRoamer Ah, thanks. I appreciate you mentioning that they weren't the best quality. Well, the search continues!
What bumper light bar is that?
32" Auxbeam!
Is your spare tire 33 inches also? And does it fit in the spare tire location underneath?
Spare is actually still a stock 31" tire. I really should look into seeing if a larger spare will fit though.
Are you running spacers behind your wheels?
I am not. These wheels have 0 offset. So from the stock Toyota rims i believe these push 30mm outwards
What fridge are you running?
A very offbrand one from Amazon but its called the "VBENLEM 35L" its a great budget fridge but isn't as efficient as a higher end one like dometic so it has been draining my 500w battery pretty quickly.
What fuel economy are u getting ?
I don't wanna think about that hahaha, its roughly around 10/11mpg city right now
6:38 😏
of course..... lol
Your spring pack is flat. That's not good. You have no real up travel. I would rethink that leaf pack and the rational you used to justify it.
