Amazing sir!!!! Thank you. Do we have to use it daily so the heads don’t clog up? Does the substrate have to be coated with anything for the stickers to work?
there is a Printhead Auto-Cleaning, when printer is left on, it will automatically clean the printhead every 10 hours, consuming about 1ml ink per day. this will help prevent clogs. the substrate does not have to be coated with anything for the stickers to work.
Hi thanks for the review. Is the problem with the sticker peeling after going in the dishwasher to do with Procolored’s AB film or the printer itself? If I bought the AB film from a different company do you think the sticker could be dishwasher proof?
the AB film is the adhesive that is making it stick onto products. The printer prints very nice images and the colors really pop. I think the adhesive that is on the AB film is not "strong" enough to last in the dishwasher (for glasswares and metal. Plastic surfaces are perfectly fine). I have not tried any other AB film so I don't know if it would improve or not. perhaps another viewer who has tried a different brand's AB film could comment on that.
Question Do you have a suggession on what's a good Procolor printer for UV and DTF meaning I want to print on wood, glass, and fabrics such as t-shirts and sweat pants?
for fabrics they have 3 printers. you can watch my black friday video for comparison. i'm not familiar with their UV printers. i have only used their UV DTF sticker printer which is different than than their UV printers.
What does the daily maintenance you mention involve? Also, since you say you should run this daily, what happens if you go away for a few days or a week? Do you now need to do something to fix it before use?
daily maintenance is using it. turn it on. do a head cleaning. do a nozzle check (no breakage in the lines) to make sure the printhead is not clogged. if you're using it daily then you'll do this already. if you won't be using it for 1-2 days it should be fine. if you don't use it daily then i wouldn't even buy it. if you leave it not in use for extended an extended period then there's a kit which is included i believe. the kit will prevent the printhead from drying up. i believe mine came with the kit, but i would ask procolored just to be sure.
@@HaiTech I intend to use the machine often, but there will be days where the machine won't be used (weekends, time off, travel etc), so I was a bit concerned it would be an issue. Will look into the kit further. Still looking around for a supplier. Thanks for the info!
@@xparte I stopped using mine for a month and it was a Procolored DTF ONLY machine and ruined my printhead, got a new printhead and fried my machine. I think a week is fine but anything outside of that beware! I believe that is for any DTF machine.
The UV DTF printer only prints "stickers" for hard surfaces. The stickers can not be applied to fabric or clothing. The stickers are not really stickers as they can not be reused. once you apply it on a surface it's basically on there permanently. if you want something for clothing you would need a standard DTF printer.
Not an easy task. In my company we print with professional UV printers on cutlery, but to have a good resistance to the dishwasher, we have to coat the printing with a special two components clear paint. Neither the standard two components car paint can resist a lot...
These printers have been replaced from the epson photo printer. dtf printers these printers are made for very thin photo ink dtf ink is not suitable for these printheads thick white ink is not suitable for these printheads it is like silicone. when the printhead stays in a slightly hot environment, the printhead dies, that is, 90% printer dies before you get the money you pay, I say don't take any risk, but you know.

Does the A Film attach to the B film as it prints? Or do you need a laminator.
it attaches as it prints. it prints and laminate for you.
