That first song is amazing. Long story short I am a breast cancer survivor...went through chemo. Lost mu hair...along with my dignity and all that goes along with a cancer diagnosis. My partner has not been supportive at all and I pretty much went through this alone. Having felt lost alone and disfigured. As I am trying to build myself up again to the person I was before. Which was a bright happy beautiful person. I look in the mirror and I dont see that person anymore. I haven't seen her in a while. I am a out 6 months post chemo. I am back to work and today when I went outside I saw a bird lying on the ground just outside out building. It startled me but didn't really think much about it. After work when I relax I like to watch you tube videos. For some reason idk why I searched for that video that you played on American idol with lee dewyze....I always loved that song and the way you both sang it...its the fally slowly song. Then I did a Google search for videos by you....crystal. and I came upon this video. When I heard the first song I loved it. Absolutely loved it. It did not hit me until the second time I listened to it and heard the chorus....where u sing....even a bird with a broken wing sings from the ground. Then I actually listened to and wrote down the lyrics as you were singing. It was like u were simging to me. Now idk if u will read this. Idk if you will even see this comment. I just want you to know that your music has impacted someone to the core. I had chills listening to this song. I feel that what happen to me today.....finding this song and the meaning of it. And thinking about what hs happen to me the last few months of my life. What an impact. I guess what I am trying to say is. Your music affected me in such a positive way. I just wanted you to know I am grateful for this song and it will forever and I mean forever have impacted my life in such a good way. I will never forget this moment as I al hearing it now. Singing out loud with you. And knowing that......even a bird with a broken wing sings from the ground!!!! 💗💗💗
