Snoop has really done justice to this song by giving it the time and music like, it deserves.. its original self and rapping when relevant and to the tune and situation ... and not trying to take over the original artist but instead understood their mindset.. very few artist can do that.. like they collaborated it together..

What is this collab even? Great song from a legendary 60s/70s Rock Band feat. a legendary Rapper from the 90s entirely made for a Racing Game on 6th console generation back in 2004. Just let that sink in for a moment. And turns out Snoop did a really great job respecting the original very much while adding his style and fitting the games theme. Man, the whole world of Art was so much more of a vibe back in the day.
This was basically the perfect title track for the game. That said, I once started a new playthrough and *In My Head* the song that started when the intro cutscene ended, and it was a transcendent experience for me.

Pure nostalgia. The cycle went like this: get spanked, win some dough, hop back into the garage, get a bigger turbo, intake and NOS with snoop and the doors banging in the background. I'm a massive Doors fan. I own all their albums on vinyl. If you hate this JUST because of the rap- you're fucking sad. Music is beautiful; no one owns it. Snoop brought his own touch to it and CLEARLY is a Doors fan himself because of the various lesser known Doors samples in this song. I think Jim would dig the shit out of this. You cannot say you think this sucks if you just hate rap. Give it a chance man. It's fucking trippy and soulful the whole way through.
