Since this series seems to be setting up that Tails and Amy will be traveling the multiverse, looking on different worlds for what Tails calls the real Sonic and most likely killing any Sonic that doesn't fit that description, it only makes sense that they'll inevitably meet Sonicverse Sonic, who's already in the middle of a multiverse journey. In which case, I think it'll be up to him to defeat the crazed Tails, and maybe help Amy fully return to her true good natured self. But that's just speculation
My theory is that they're going to travel dimensions and create twisted versions of every character - or at least the most popular characters in each Sonic universe and they're going to keep going until they decide who is the "real" Sonic
