"துள்ளாத மனமும் துள்ளும்" வெற்றி படத்தினை இயக்கிய எழில், காதல், மோதல், இன்னும் பிற மசாலாக்களை உட்படுத்தி எழுதி இயக்கிய இப்படத்தின் இசையமைப்பாளர் யுவன்சங்கர் ராஜா என்பது அனைவருக்கும் தெரிந்ததே! அவரது இசைக்கோர்வையில் ஐந்து பாடல்கள் பதிவானதில் மூன்றை நா.முத்துக்குமாரும், ஒன்றை யுகபாரதியும் இன்னொன்றை கபிலனும் அழகு தமிழில் புனைந்து உயிரூட்டியுள்ளார்கள் என்பதில் மாற்றுக் கருத்தில்லை! மதுஸ்ரீ & அனுராதா ஶ்ரீராம் குரலில் "கண்ணன் வரும் வேளை...", விஜய் ஜேசுதாஸ் குரலில் "காதல் வைத்து..." போன்ற பாடல்களுக்காக யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜாவை எவ்வளவு பாராட்டினாலும் தகும்! அவரது குரலில் ஒலிக்கும் "போகாதே..." பாடல் காட்சிகளை ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் SD.விஜய் மில்டன் படமாக்கிய விதம் அருமை! 2006-ல் தயாரான இப்படம் 09-02-2007-ல் தான் வெளியானது. சென்னையை பொறுத்தமட்டில் தேவிபாலா, சாந்தம், அன்னை அபிராமி, மகாராணி, காசி, ரோகிணி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. நூறு நாட்கள் கடந்த பிறகு பாடல்களுக்காக நண்பர்கள் சகிதம் தேவிபாலாவில் படம் பார்த்ததாக ஞாபகம்! நல்லவேளை பாடல் காட்சிகளின் போது விசில் சத்தம் இல்லை. அரங்கத்தை விட்டு யாரும் வெளியேறவும் இல்லை. எழில் கதை சொல்லிய விதம் ரசிகர்களை இருக்கைகளில் உட்கார வைத்து விட்டது என்று சொன்னால் மிகையல்ல. நிற்க. பல வருடங்களுக்கு பிறகு சமீபத்திய பேருந்து பயணத்தின்போது கேட்க நேர்ந்த "கண்ணன் வரும் வேளை..." பாடல் தான் இந்த பின்னூட்டத்திற்கு உந்து சக்தி. சில நினைவுகள் மிக அழகானது மட்டுமல்லாமல் மறக்கவும் முடியாதவை தான்! முதல் நட்பிற்கான முதல் சந்திப்பும் எதிர்பாராத பிரிவிற்கான கடைசி சந்திப்பும் நினைவிருக்கிறதா? ஆம்! கண்ணீருக்கு வலிகள் மட்டுமல்ல சில நேரங்களில் சிரிப்பு அலைகளும் சொந்தம் தானே? சகிப்புத் தன்மை வளர வளர உறவுகளின் ஆயுட்காலமும் நீளும் என்பது போல் விட்டுக் கொடுத்தவர் எவரும் பட்டுப் போவதில்லை என்பதும் எழுதப்படாத நியதியன்றோ! நான் இங்கே... நீயோ எங்கே ? தேடும் அனைத்தும் ஒருபோதும் கிடைப்பதில்லை, கிடைத்தவை அனைத்தும் தேடி கிடைத்ததும் இல்லை. நாம் எதையோ தேடி எதையோ பெற்று எதையோ தொலைத்து வெளியே சிரித்தும் உள்ளே தவித்தும் வாழ்கிறோம். இந்த வாழ்க்கையில் தான் ஒருவர் ஏமாற்றுகிறார், இன்னொருவர் வழிகாட்டுகிறார், மற்றொருவர் உதவுகிறார். இப்படித் தான் வாழ்நாட்கள் நகருகிறது. வாழ்வில் நிஜத்தை தேடும் போது நிஜமென்று தோன்றுபவை தான் வரிசைகட்டி நம்ப வைக்கின்றது! எதிர்பாராத வேளையில் மறக்கமுடியாத பழைய நினைவுகள் யாவும் மனத்திரையில் பளிச்சிடும் போது கண்கள் ஈரமாவதும் விழிநீர் கசிவதும் இயல்பு தான்! ஆனால் ஈரமான கண்களை துடைக்கும் போது யாராவது பார்த்துவிட்டார்களா என்று சுற்றுமுற்றும் பார்க்கும்போது ஏற்படுகிற சூழலை எண்ணிப் பார்க்கிறேன். மனதிற்கு பிடித்த இந்தப் பாடல்கள் உருவாகக் காரணமானவர்களை வணங்கி நன்றி பாராட்டுகிறேன். நன்றி. மீண்டும் ரசிப்போம்! ப.சிவசங்கர். 01.08.2023

Director Ezhil told in an interview that Moondram pirai is the inspiration for this movie and he wanted to make the sequence of the movie after the end of moondram pirai movie.
Actually the ending is not that much tragic because though Susi didn't get back her memories she is trusting Billu as he was ready to get beaten and injuries for her. She started believing that he must be true and also director is giving us a hope that she will some day recover from her disease🥰❤️
