I recall enjoying this game when it was new, but it didn't hold up over time. From what I remember, it was really easy to get through, mostly just using a single move, so it kinda got old within about a day. Was a good rental game though.

The fluidity of these graphics leaves a lot to be desired, but the flag waving at the end is actually pretty decent for an NES game. Normally it's just a lame 2-frame animation showing a "wiggle". This one has THREE frames and it kinda flaps. I see where the budget went. CORRECTION: It's FIVE frames! WHOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BABY
You’re incorrect on two levels, but the most pertinent is that Reagan isn’t even in this version. The president is HW on the NES port, and “Ronnie” in the arcade.

Not a good conversion, can't blame the tech given the relatively smooth operation of games like Kung Fu, Rush N' Attack, and Ninja Gaiden

This is one of the few games where you win by not playing. Ronald Reagan was the worst thing to happen to USA.
