A lot of people may not like Ross but David is really the most talented out of them all. His facial expressions are unmatched and it’s extremely hard to make such an awkward character funny.

Bruh idc what anyone says Ross is the best character. Sure chandler had great moments but after his marriage with Monica he fell off but Ross in the last 5 seasons really took the show to another lvl.
@Izaan ur rehman hmm u didn't get what I meant. By "fell off" I mean the comedy aspect. Ross got funnier as the seasons moved on. Actually all of them matured and had a great development. Chandler is my second favourite character but imo Rachel had a greater development than him, I think the more and more u see the show and with a much unbiased opinion your perspective changes. Chandler and Joey were my fav when I watched it for the first time , well now that I'm growing up I find Ross to be a much more comedic relief followed by Chandler. Plus he's much more realistic out of the 6 too , followed by Rachel and Chandler. One thing I hate about "Ross Hate" is that its unnecessary cause ppl tend to overlook the flaws of others while focus on his alot.

If this were a show that delved into darker jokes, it would have been amazing to see a credits scene where Scott receives a phone call from an anonymous person that tells him it was time for their daily ritual and him asking, as he had before, why this is happening and when will it stop, only for the person to laugh and tell him 'soon enough.'
That was the orginal pitch for "Lost" before they added in the plane crash and the compound with the computer that needed the code continually inputed.

Guys, stop saying people don't like Ross. I mean, yeah, he's the least flashy of the three, but I think all of us who like the show KNOW (perhaps subconsciously) that all the characters are indispensable to make us laugh in the way they've done for so long.
The only ones I've seen complain about him are those who seek to demonstrate a non-existent moral high ground, digging into fictional situations from a 30 year old series.

It is a mental disorder called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He feels the need to do it because he has the irrational thought in his mind that his family will die otherwise.

Omg its not a joke. Its an obssesive complusive disorder (OCD) type. OCD is a complex mental disorder containing so many different behavioral and thought processes happening because of chemical imbalances or emotional trauma which can lead just being a perfectionist to suicide/ life threatening. I dont know the context they used it here but as a person who struggle with basic ocd, harm ocd, contamination ocd, religious-spiritual ocd, behavioral ocd, health ocd and etc i can assure you theres nothing funny in there.. i rightfully be offended if they used it here with the intention to laugh around

It is not schizophrenia, it is OCD. It is the compulsion becoming the obsession that your brain makes you believe doing a certain thing certain times will stop a certain harm. It is not schizophrenia. It is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder aka OCD. Not everyone has schizophrenia or OCD. OCD is fairly a common mental disorder, almost all can go through the primary elements of OCD when the stress is super high, but the compulsion becoming an obsession part; it is not happening with everyone.
