Restoration of the Rusty SWORD - Military Sabre

Hello folks! Today I show you the restoration of an old military officer sword. This type of Sword is from the late 18th century. The condition of the blade was bad, during the process I realized that the object was lying somewhere in a damp place (basement or barn). The handle is made with brass and guard also made with brass which was common in military sword so i am not going to change the handle. Well, let's start the recovery

Yep. Post-WW2 tourist blade in poor condition. Forged form who knows what steels quite possibly without any heat treatment/tempering of the blade. BUT, I'll give the guy credit for showing what a day or two's worth of hard work with minimal tools can accomplish.
