When I first started listening to Momusu instantly Reina was my favourite member, but gradually I am agreeing with a lot of people. I love Reina I really do she has a brilliant voice, but she's always at the forefront of the group. I can understand Ai being at the front because she's the leader but Reina is just always there. And I think if it keeps happening as much as I love Momusu their popularity may drop because a lot of people I know have complained about line distributions
No, in fact Reina was the most beloved member in this era. Like if you watch their live performances, the fans often shout her name while she sings solo, saidly she was even more popular than Ai-chan, etc. Tbh that's just because she's a good singer, her voice is perfect for J-pop, she's very stable in live and has a cute face too but she wasn't a great dancer and her stamina was pretty weak. The line distribution itself was the problem. Yes Reina has an incredible voice but even when she was the youngest she always got more lines than those who already had been members since years. Imagine how the older members must have felt

They are the best singers but just compare this to Nanchatte Renai or Shouganai Yume Oibito. Also their problem is that Reina isn't the sub-leader as if the two positions have anything to do with each other lmao. Just because she's younger than Risa (although i love Risa the most as an all around member) she sings better to be honest.
Michishige Sayumi. (Her first name is Sayumi) She is really pretty, isn't she? She's said herself that she thinks (or knows) that she's the cutest and she plays that up to cover up her not-the-best singing abilities.
I get people being upset with Ai & Reina being in the spotlight and all others seem like back dancers, but I don't think Tsunku made a mistake here. This is awesome to watch and I think Reina in particular is just all on spot here not just with singing but with the moves and it really justifies the reason she was placed there (and was generally in front with Ai). I love this whole generation it was the best for me, and I loved how Tsunku tried different things in songs. Whoever did the choreography for this song deserved a raise.

Risa is actually the easiest to spot of those in the back, because she's got the long, curly hair. And they actually show her kinda close up a few times.
Totally true. it's so annoying to try to spot your favorites from the crowd. They don't even show their faces, which is really sad. They are all so cute girls.

I absolutely hate how Tsunku chooses only a couple girls to be in the front and get most the lines, and the rest would be lucky if they even got 2! The fans start hating on some girls and start picking sides. When I first saw Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari and Kanashimi Twilight, all I saw were some astonishly beautiful and talented girls. I've hated certain girls in certain groups before, but then I saw the Making Of videos and immediatly ate my words. They're all very nice people.
The other girls still get special songs on the albums and b-sides. Like Risa and Sayumi got a duet song for Yowamushi on the back of Nai Chau Kamo, and Sayumi and Kamei got solo songs on Platinum 9 DISC.
Even though Risa Niigaki isn't really featured in this PV, it's still amazing that you can still notice her even she blends in with the other Dancers! That just goes to show of how amazing Niigaki Risa is! =D
If you remember back to the days of Natsumi and Maki and even before that when it was just Natsumi, they became popular through having a "face", a front person who everybody could readily recognize. I think that's what is missing from Momusu, a readily recognizable front person and like the direction this PV goes in trying to reclaim that.

It's good that they move the videos around between highlighting all and highlighting only a few. I mean go back to mr moonlight which was pretty much all yossie, with this vid the spotlight was on the most popular trio. But during this gen we've also had SYO and Mikan which focused on everybody else. Don't forget that on platinum 9 Gaki-san, Sayu and mitsui all had solos. While linlin and junjun dominated the track 'guru guru jump'. They all get their attention at some point.
@luvsherself Risa is at 1:40 but you can't see JunJun too well since she doesn't have that many lines but if you go to the new single Seishun Collection you can see her in the end with the short dress and straight hair, a bit light brown like Ai-chan's hair color hope it helped, and sorry i'm not good at explaining things
Being leader and being center are two different things. Aichan is both, which can be confusing, but she's the first like that in the history of the group. Yuko wasn't center during her time, nor was Kaori, nor was Yossie.

The girls all graduate into new groups, which is why we have the likes of M-line, ongakku gatas and Hangry & angry to get our teeth into outside of Momusu. Anyway enough history lessons, I have Tanakacchi and Ai Chan to watch.

@lihnlihn dude, she joined in Onna Ni Sachi Are, and that single was released way before this one, this was in 2008 i think, but Onna Sachi was in 2007 just get it right, JunJun adnd LinLin are in this video, look at the full PV instead of the dance shot, JunLin are definetely there, and I'm not blind here, Jun is m favorite and Lin is 4th, the both joined before this and they're both in this, they just get any lines or screentime
This is the Dance Shot Version. There are two DVDs that have been released of the "Resonant Blue" video: the "Lesson Studio" version and the "Another Ver." edition. This isn't either one of those. I actually PREFER this version and wish it would come out on DVD.
