    I can agree with most of the bands mentioned. But instead of Triumvirat and Eloy, I would have chosen Kraan and Embryo, at least in a top 20. I saw most of the bands you mentioned live. Greatest singer was and still is Inga Rumpf of Frumpy and later Atlantis. Others in your list struggle with the English language quite a bit. In particular Triumvirat. And they wrote silly lyrics like "it was shortly after nine, when they started the new time" (from Spartacus).

    • @BackingTrackCenter

      Interesting! Triumvirat and Eloy lean more symphonic, while Kraan and Embryo have a jazzier vibe. Just a matter of style, right? Inga Rumpf is fantastic, no doubt! I agree that Triumvirat sometimes went a bit heavy with the lyrics. Thanks for commenting!

      Bei Kraftwerk kommt dazu, dass deren stil sich sehr gewandelt hat. Die ersten 2 Alben waren Krautrock, alles mit und nach "Autobahn" … also die Majorität Ihrer Veröffentlichungen nicht.

      I don’t quite agree that Eloy's vocals are that weak. They have their own style, and that’s part of their charm. But Grobschnitt and Can are definitely giants! Thanks for the comment!

    Hoelderlin should be on # 1, it comes from my hometown Wuppertal. Too many of the real good bands are missing. It seems, a Non-German has compiled this list. At least half of the shown bands do not belong into the Top 20 ...

    • @BackingTrackCenter
      @BackingTrackCenter  25 дней назад

      That’s right, the list was compiled by a non-German! I think it highlights how much impact these bands have had outside of Germany, right? And I bet you, being German, could also make an awesome list of American, British, or any bands from around the world. Thanks for the comment!

      Ich verstehe deine Frustration! Es ist schwierig, alle großartigen Bands auf einer Liste zusammenzufassen, und jeder hat seine Favoriten. Welche Bands sollten Ihrer Meinung nach aus der Liste verschwinden und welche reinkommen?
