It's funny to watch the P320 'evolve' to be more and more like the older hammergats it was designed to replace, and from which it was hastily adapted.
U blind? It doesn't have a hammer. Which makes p320 superior to everything. Have polymer, aluminum, steel grip. And don't be stuck with fudd hammer guns 😉
@@mrdato116 I cant tell if this is sarcasm.
If it is not sarcasm, then why would someone ever get a P320 over a SIG P226 or SIG SP2022, or a metal framed striker fired pistol, such as a S&W Metal frame M&P 2.0?
Those choices won't go off if you drop it 2 feet off an endtable like a P320.
@@RedZeppelinAirship coz p226 was retired, had even shorter run then Beretta with cracking frame and slide lol
@@mrdato116 The military uses their pistols as makeshift hammers so it makes sense when they are beat on and have some cracked frames.
That said you can buy a SIG SP2022 for $500, and have a better pistol than this P320 for a 1/4 of the price.
@@RedZeppelinAirship I have sig p226 40 SW. Got it at GunBroker for 500. It's not as comfortable pistol as my p320 axg
LOVE the weight of this thing!
These are seriously some of THE most aggressive G10 grips we've ever made as well. They just velcro to your hands. Absolutely amazing 👌
That's the best competition pistol, it shoots itself!
The drop-fire issue is old, it was fixed in the first generation of 320, that came out, wait, 2014. It's amazing how long you hold onto things.
@TBendez the beretta and M16 never escaped their stigmas. It's just how it goes. Also this pistol is a cludge of a design with very good marketing
@@anthonymayor5171 this dude has been absolutely coping in the comments here since he owns one and has to justify his purchase over a G19 or a SIG P226. He responded to like three of my comments absolutely seething.
@RedZeppelinAirship I would feel bad if I bought a p320 too lol. I went from glock to cz.
@@anthonymayor5171 beretta px4 for me.
Can’t they just make a double stack P210 with an optic cut?
That’s what it is, but with a bad trigger.
"You are gonna buy a single stack 9mm for $1500 and you are gonna like it." - sig
If they did it would be pricey AF
its called a P226
@@quasimongo410 No, it's called "44/16"
Great to see Max on TFB - he’s an awesome dude ! Hoping they sell the SXG grip module in Canada - will pick one up for sure
Hope they’re selling a steel grip module on its own too man I’ll buy that for my 320 I have right now.
Brouwer is making an aluminum and steel grip module
@@bradenmchenry995 thanks for the low. 🤘🫡🫡
It'll probably end up costing more than you paid for your 320
It's probably gonna be a bit on the hefty side price-wize.
Looks like a nice competition gun.
I like it.
I love that’s it’s all steel but wish it was also a traditional double action, hammer fired pistol. Never been done before.
Its crazy, isn't it; all metal handgun? Who could've predicted this?
It has been done before. P226 Stainless Elite
They may even lose the optic cut and go slick... you know... so that it has a smaller footprint. 😉
@@JRMJRM92 sarcasm bud.
Im surprised it took this long!!!
It's so beautiful 😍👍👍👍👍👍
CZ Shadow…….
Yeah Czech gay gun for chonky hipsters. No real military contracts, last century hammer fired design. I still regret getting it. More recoil than my p320 axg , fits worse in my hand too
I love the sig P320, I’m working on a metal frame subcompact, like the detonics or devel.
I have the x5 legion and it’s a monster so another nearly 3/4 pound would be crazy but pretty sure it’s afloat shooter.
Been waiting for this since they release the AXG
Very cool.
Hope that Sig will offer this in the X-change kit so I can re-use my FCU.
This guy is good.
Hope it comes with a shoulder sling in the case.
Ive been wanting metal grip module with full length dust cover
I already have heaviest X5 , Legion with brass "ligt" from lok Grips :).
Love me some steel frame guns. I second that they should sell the grip module seperate
Oh they will
Only after they’ve maxed out the sales of the full gun because that’s how they roll
Sold. Im gonna get a SXG frame for my AXG legion upper
When's the P320-420 Scorpion Elite Max Horner Spectre Comp 69 Rose edition coming out?
Probably the same month Cabot re-releases the 1911, or no, that was the latest company to produce a 2011, no wait, it was the newest in the line of Glock gen 3-copies.
you forgot legion and legend
*spits out joint smoke and beer* oh shit theres another event?!!?
4:20 Well... it's on my list now, but looks like it'll be sitting there quite a while.
Quite a loooooooong while.
Need an X-Ten version.
I just got a P220 Legion 10mm SAO that weighs 44oz, it's all steel but single stack.... If this comes out in 10mm....it might make me think about this SXG.!
I got the double action model for myself as a late Christmas present this January, and it has since become my favorite handgun.
I was there today
The Desert Eagle in 9mm!
The stainless steel grip module and optic-ready slide ensure stability and precision, while the G10 grip panels and enhanced sights deliver a comfortable and accurate shooting experience.
Everyone has that one thought in the back of their head..Deep within the file cabinet. In aisle 3. Down the stairs. Past the vending machine. And under the carpet.
Getting closer to the 59 oz max weight of the carry optics division in USPSA 😄
man i hope they make a ca roster version. my stainless P220 and stainless elite P229 need another sibling.
The metal PDP would still be my choice, personally.
🇺🇸
🔥
I'd be happy if they just offer the SXG grip module so I can slap it on my X5
This could be good in IPSC Production. I still see a lot of German P226 in Production Division!
Masterpiece Arms DS9 LOC is 51 ounces.
God damn it… IF SIG COULD JUST MAKE THE BEST P320 ALREADY THATD BE GREAT.
Shadow 2 ftw
I’d love that in 10mm
Drool.
Want to buy the grip mod for my x5 Legion
44mag L frame weight.😂. Love it!!
Make a manual safety grip module for it
could've achieved largely the same thing by attaching a lead weight to the picatinny rail on the polymer frame P320
I don’t think you were supposed to release this yet 🤣
Can we get it in 10mm double stack? Sig red dots way! Their way better out their !
More weight for more bang when it's dropped. 🤣
Does this only take the romeo max red dot? Cuz the max footprint doesnt work with the normal romeo 3
DPP too
new 320 model every 6mo to a year
Maybe I missed something but is the sig p320 SXG modular, say I want to swap to polymer frame??
It’s a 320 platform so I’m sure you can swap it but why would you buy this just to get a polymer frame after?
@@JRMJRM92 just pondering, I have agx so if modular, thinking ability to change to slightly lighter to much lighter, verses buy 3 different complete models. I would still get SXG anyway.
Cool. Less recoil when it shoots you.
Imagine winning championships with a P226 only for SIG to tell you "we need you to shoot our 320s from now on. Dont drop them"
It passed a higher drop test than the browning hi power.
Pretty sure they silently patched the issue awhile ago
@@scholasticaltactical9058hahahaha, the Browning HiPower, of 1935? No kidding?
@@Fenster21 shhhh let him have his moment
@@Fenster21 yeah, but it served 50 years and maybe people were less dumbass but everyone didn’t kill themselves.
A race gun that'd be good home for home defense?
Great pistol but not legal for IDPA because of weight restriction of 45oz. That 49oz will get you a DQ.
Economics 101 tells me at that price either they have one old Swiss guy chained in a basement in Newington making these things or every man woman child and recently deceased relative is buying one of these.
Can't wait to see a RUclips short of some bro using this as his EDC
I once met a guy who carried a IWI Jericho 941. His name was NOT Spike Spiegel.
Along with a Surefire light and a RMR. Perfect for EDC. 😂
a mushy trigger encased in a steel frame gliding on flimsy rails. nice optic btw
Jerry still beat ya plate rack time like it owed him money! Lol
Next year…P320 LXG (lead X-grip) the heaviest Sig ever….again.
I actually have a LXG module for the 320 I sold… unfortunately the L stands for Laser instead of Lead 😅
@@KennyRodgers930 😆 I’m late to the marketing department
Sig still can't figure out how to mill a rear sight and optic cut on the same gun? Sad, very sad.
The regular 320s and 365s all keep the rear sight now, this is a competition gun, and they don't use irons in competition these days.
Is it out of battery safe? Sig go boom
49 1/2 oz. Don't know if you had my com block state with a 50oz limit in mind, but I'm so happy that I can actually get one 🤌
Wish it didn’t have the open slide cuts.
Don't you just hate comped guns?
James used to sell Bud, he can eyeball a few grams no prob
Ever since that guy from Kimber came over to sig it's like they have been smoking crack or something. Name me one competition that requires a 50 Oz gun that has no better recoil mitigation than a Glock 19....
Cool. Another allocated SKU I can get 50 calls about…..

Nice bit bore axis is a thing
Have you shot one?
@@TBendezNope, but once a 320 always a 320
@@M0onM0nkey Naw man, I held a basic 320X5 and a Legion back to back. The basic one felt so cheap, front heavy and a crap trigger. Walked away with the Legion.
So many people who clearly know everything there is to know about guns who have their instant opinion about a new version of a huge selling model.
Yup, never seen one, never held one, never shot one but know everything there is to know about them. Internet experts.
There is absolutely no excuse for SIG to put a gun on the market, or in the hands of a soldier, that fires on its own. Period. End of story. There were far better guns available in the M17 trial and the military chose SIG anyway. They also chose SIG for the NGSW. SIG is now getting another government check for SIG-licensed Flux Raiders. The US Military is choosing SIG for every new military platform and every platform that reaches replacement age. If you dont see anything wrong with that, there's no discussion to be had here.
It's all kickbacks and corruption-fueled autocratic government bullshit. You dont need to hold a P320 to know it's an overpriced pile of trash. Quit apologizing for them.
I’ve got four along with a number of other manufacturers. Never had a problem with any one mine. Even did the “hammer in a nail test” with my P320 Full Size. Zero problems. No problem that you hate Sig but dismissing all of their products as crap is both wrong and insulting to those of us who use and carry a Sig every day and are willing to trust our life and our families life on it.
@@raclark52 I dont hate SIG. I have a P220, an M400, and I'm looking into a P229. Although I own SIG products and will continue to buy SIG products, I can still remain objective and see that they're somehow monopolizing the US military industrial complex as it pertains to small arms. P320s are an objectively bad product. People are into them, thats great, whatever, but dont act like theyre the best thing since sliced bread. They arent. Not even close to it. Thats just a fact
No, it’s your opinion. There are many who feel the same way about Glock. I own three and I won’t say they are awesome, I shoot my 34 and 17 frequently. Those who say all Glocks are crap have an opinion. Most don’t share that opinion. You are totally entitled to your opinion but it is just that.
Will this one go off on it’s own like the other 320’s?
Is it drop safe?
2016 called
Was thinking the same thing.🤔
A fella was awarded 2 mil this year for a 320 going off@@bradenmchenry995
Not if you drop it on your pinky toe.
No…
Why would they not make the frame flush with the slide 😞 and only one pic slot 🤦
Explain.
@@TBendez the slide sticks out past the frame/dust cover and it has only one 1913 Picatinny rail slot.
Why would you need to put a light or a laser on a competition gun? That is why there’s only one slot. You really don’t need one at all.
@@duke88nuke Oh, so like from an aesthetical point of view. I thought you were pointing out a quality issue 😂. It would make it more front heavy.
Pass
At least this one won't blow up into pieces
1799!!??? That flux raider going to be 2500
Don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!
Hold on, are they seriously still making slides that once you remove the optic plate, you also lose your rear iron sight?
It's a competition gun, most competitors aren't using irons much if at all. The p320 max doesn't have any sights, for example.
Its a 226 with extra steps but somehow less steps. And it goes off when you holster it
Do you really believe this? Or could it be that the police captain maybe can't handle firearms safely without an external safety?
@@TBendezi believe what ever makes siggers angry
Can you guys drop test this pistol?
The drop-fire issue is old, it was fixed in the first generation of 320, that came out, wait, 2014. It's amazing how long you hold onto things.
Looks pretty neat, but the 320s usually have sloppy tolerances. I think I'd rather get a shadow 2
Thats hammer fired, not striker.
The S&W M&P Metal Frame is striker fired, and it is very nice and only is around $800.
Sig is the Apple of the pistol world, and I don’t mean that it a good way.
Everything old is new again.
I keep wanting to like sig, but they are so inconsistent.
Aaaaand a huge lawsuit they just lost.
How many 320 variants are there now??? Not to mention, the shitton of 365s.🥴🥴🥴
If I want that heavy, I'll take the shadow 2. You should have made a competition ready 226.
Are you usually watching the news with your eyes closed? They re-released the P226 X-five, now made in the US, 2022.
@@TBendez I wouldn't consider it geared towards competition.
@@StewieStew820 It is though, even though you might not think so. The S in the original P226S X-five stands for Sport as in Sport Shooting. Never mind Max Michel competing with one.
@TBendezp Ohhhh, basically the limited optics version one. I've yet to see anyone run it at a match in person, but if it works for them, then more power to them. My guess is that people lean toward entry-level 2011s for that cost for LO.
I'm all for having a stainless grip module, I just hate the giant beavertail, and I want a slide that'll fit an RMR.

I still shoot steel DA/SA guns...To me there just superior, I love the double action trigger, light triggers with no safety, as some striker fired guns have it are more dangerous...I love the steel frame, way more stable and accurate...the weight balance on glocks and polymer guns is crap..I never knew why polymer striker guns became soo popular...Maybe if your trying to equip an army where a handgun is not your primary weapon and you need to buy in bulk.....But if your handgun is your primary, and you can manage the extra weight, steel guns are superior in every way...The things that make polymer guns useful, light weight, cheaper to produce, etc...are all things that don't really improve the quality and performance of a gun..Its like having a BMW yet everyone is raving about a honda.. Ya'll eat up the Glock marketing..
All steel construction? Check
Semi-auto action? Check

issue with guns that are too heavy is they yoyo alot...fast splits make em dip alot.....second shots tend to go low. They are "soft" and "smooth" feeling....til you start doing 12 splits and throwing rounds low
