    This is the best format for beginners like me. You can see both hand, the tab and the rythm as well. Brilliant job. Subscribed.

      it could be your action, i had a strat with very high action and i never really noticed it and that riff almost seemed impossible to play, until i bought a jackson with a decent setup, then the riff became a piece of cake for me to play.

    • @Skuubiii
      @Skuubiii 3 года назад

      @@svb_zero1574 maybe you are right, but it's not necessary to buy new guitar watch some videos about bridge setup and copy it on your guitar

    I have a question on the clean part when I play the 0,2,3,2 it sounds right but then the next set where it goes 0,2,5,3,2 is the 0 supposed to be there cause when I play it clean or with distortion it sounds odd like your not supposed to play that but when I play it with out the 0 it sounds normal ?

  • @bligh1156
    @bligh1156 5 месяцев назад

    In case it helps someone: There are no "5"s it's always the string below open, in the slower riffs. There is no alternate picking, every stroke is down. Otherwise decent instructional.

    I never played bar chords with my pinky in the third position, I was taught ring finger-I see a lot of people doing this..is this good technique? Doesn’t really free up your pinky quickly if needed..but hey looks like it working for you

      I like to play this way

    • @FloydofOz
      @FloydofOz 5 лет назад

      He has excellent technique overall but the best way is to use your ring finger so your fourth finger is there for the fourth fret. Use all of your fingers for maximum Metallica! He is also using some up strokes. That’s how I and other mere mortals play. The great James Hatfield is almost all down strokes...but he is god.
