She was born in the U.S. and had lived there all her life making her 100% American. What you're trying to say is that she isn't a white caucasian woman.. I do agree with you bout her being the best voice in the competition though.. God bless her

She was with Phillip Phillips, who won the American Idol. Jessica was the runner-up! I think Phillip won, b/c he was suffering from a kidney disease at that time!!! Jessica surpassed him!!! She's American, born there in the U.S. of A. Candice was after Jessica. The very first time Candice was in American Idol she was with Jessica in the group!!! She didn't make it and then later on

Luther Vandross would have been more proud of Jessica Sanchez than he would have been of Jacob Lusk. It is a shame that he did not live to see her compete on American Idol. Luther would have pulled for Jessica if he were alive during her time on American Idol. She was month shy of 10 when he died.
