@@DevSam123 your teaching is EXCELLENT. Hence I got Josh A " Guru is Guru" irrespective of age. I already started I will definitely think about your suggestion Thank you
@@DevSam123 sir I am impressed upon the way of your teaching and will definitely help everyone who wishes to learn From the above " persons" I learnt only to some extent say 5% , because of the pre occupied profession. Any instrument needs full time attention to play like You. Hence I requested, the possibility of mine. Two of my above were beyond 55 age in 1978 itself. Please don't mistake. " You can also be my Guru" what I mean when I said " Guru is Guru '
Ma is G, Pa Is A, hey bro could you send a surbahar to New Zealand!? Interesting ma and pa alternate around the tonic. sa uo to pa is 5 notes then from pa up to sa is 4 notes, decending it is the opposite and ma and sa are almost interchangable.
Your sitar has 8 pegs instead of the usual 7. In the video you describe the tunings of 7 strings as normally done. Then which string do you use the 8th peg for?
I see another peg (like NB model) , which counts 8 in total while strings on the main bridge are seven including chikaries. What purpose does the 8th one serve ? Would you tell us ?
Seems special but only for creating ambience, an extra steel string tuned in either ni or sa or ga according to the Raag. Listen carefully stroke you will find a ni which gives the effect of inbuilt Tanpura.
Naveen Kumar sitarist he helped students teaching also programming in RVindra Bharati auditorium hyd.

Sorry Sam, didn’t notice that you had already dealt with this extra peg business beforehand ….. in response to someone else’s comments. My apology.

Yes it should according to the descending order of the Raag
Saman Sir
