I completed my 6 months TB medicines course. But After Give up medicines Again cough has start with cheats pain from last two month.
I used to eat medicines after meal and someday it’s delayed 3-4 hours from Before day.
Get chest xray and ultrasound chest done and consult with a chest specialist near you.
Hi How are you now? I too diagonised with pulmonary effusion. Same treatment undergoing from tomorrow I have been asked to take few medicines before lunch few after lunch and one antibiotic at after dinner too. Please guide me

सर मैं पहले प्राइवेट हास्पिटल से दवाई ले रहा था जिसमें rifampicin and isoniazid खाली पेट ओर pyrazinamide , ethambutol खाना खाने के बाद लेता था लेकिन दवाई महंगी होने के कारण सरकारी हास्पीटल शिफ्ट हो गया ओर उन्होने 4 टेबलेट(जिसमे चारो साल्ट है )खाना खाने के बाद हर 20 मिनट के अंतराल पर लेने को बोला है
क्या दवाई चेंज होने से कोई साइड इफेक्ट तो नहीं होगा ना plz बताओ

sir, can you please guide me; I'm 18 years old and I was having pain in the left side of my chest so I went to the doctor and they told me that I'm suffering from TB but all my reports were negative. I have 0 symptoms no cough no loss in appetite but despite weight loss, they removed 1.5 liters of pleural fluid which was also negative. Still, I'm taking TB medicine(Akurit-4) and some others and I feel better so, I'm confused that there is no detection and symptoms but the medicine is working.
I got tested many times(4times) but it was negative. But when I got bronchospy test then it came positive. So many time mucus test comes negative but bronchospy came confirm whether or not. I told you this test is very painful and expensive if you want to confirm than you do it.

Sawal accha hai lekin iska koi fix answer nahi hai. Kyuki kisi ko side effect hoga ya nahi koi predict nahi kar sakta.
Side effects ke liye bus regularly patient ko monitor karna hota hai

Ek saath ka matlab hota hai ki aap 1/2hr me (within30 mins) saari tablets le lein.
Patients galti karte hai ki ek goli subah ek dopahar ek shaam ek raat lete hai. Aise nahi leni hoti.

Sir my father is going through eye tb. He has no tb germs in his lungs and he is taking tb medicines from last 3 weeks but in his monthly report his ALT sgpt is 266. The doctor has prescribed him with ursocol 300 mg twice a day. He also added that if it doesn’t reduces sgpt level than we will have to hold the tb medicines for some days. Sir will it affect the tb treatment if the doctor holds the tb medicines? Will it become drug resistant?

At sgpt 266 TB medicines should be stopped already.
Urosocol usually doesnt help.

@@niloyghosh-ew3er nobody can predict that but usually doesnt happen that way because stopping and restarting is a standard practice in cases of deranged enzymes. And kindly do not stop by yourself on our advice.
Either do a proper case consultation with us online or at clinic or follow as your doctors advice.

Ultrasound neck karvaiye. Lymph node size ke according biopsy ya excision plan karna thik rzhega. Unhe test ke liye bhejna hoga ki usme koi Tb ka kitanu hai ya nahi. Usi ke according decide hoga.
Ye 6 months pe hi kar lena chahiye tha. Lekin abhi koi baat nahi. Ab karva lijiye.
Sir mere maa ko tb hua he 6 month ka course dia tha but 9 din lene ke bad sgot n sgpt high ho gaya sgot 325 or sgpt 161 ho gaya aaab tb ka medicin dr ne 15 days ke liye bandh kar diye kya isse mdr ho sakta he kya sir
Sgot sgpt 300+ , 161 ke liye 3-5 days medicines band karna kaafi tha. 15 din ke liye needed nahi hota.
Also MDR ka risk aise nahi hota.
Sir, my sgpt increased to 266 after tb medicines and than my doctor prescribed me ursocol 300 twice a day and kept tb medicines continued after one week it dropped to 235 and he stopped the tb medicines for 1 week but after 1 week of stopping the medicines it again increased to 263. Sir is it normal to increase sgpt sgot even after you stop tb medicines?
All my liver functions test except sgot and sgpt are still normal. Sgpt sgot were also normal before tb meicines.

Tommorow is my 2nd month starting....but the medicine i got now is Govt one..Which has 28 tablet. I use to take medicine once a day... daily...so this new medicine I have yo take One dose each day for 28 days on the tablet isn't???
Am i supposed to take two tablets dose ??? In a single day ? Doctor said i take each tablet a day...but im confused because all 4 antibiotics are in one .
Medicines are on the basis of weight.
Kindly ask your treating doctor to explain. Without the knowledge of which medicines you are given, what is your weight we cannot recommend medicines.
TB medicines are always on the basis of weight. Isse farak nahi padta ki sab medicines combined hai ya sabki alag goli hai, whats important is ki saari medicines weight adjusted doses me ek saath khaani.hoti hai patient ko jaisa video me bataya hai.

Esr has got nothing to do with TB disease.
Any inflammation of any reason anywhere in body Esr can rise.

Hello doc. Can you please answer this question because I keep on overthinking because of my Past Ptb and yes I finish 6mos of treatment and undergi sputum and it turns negative. After 2mos I go to my Private Pulmonologist because I had a cough again and I feel like my left side of lung is like theres producing sound when I'm inhale he said it was only a scar when he look on my xray and then he gave only antibiotic for me for only 7days then I got cured. After how many months I got Xray again because I kept on overthink then it says there Considered Ptb with Cavitary formation in the right. So I went to my Private Pulmonologist again he look my two xrays then he said It was only a scars. I dont know but theres a sound in my left chest when Im inhaling and It was so uncomfortable. Cannot be completely answered without actually seeing your xray films because many a times we see discrepancy in reports and our clinical findings. As scars are very common post Tb treatment.
Regarding sound from chest, you can get a Pft test done and if there is any airway issue it will be picked up. Also your pulmonologist can better tell that by examining you in person & cannot be commented without checking

I had supracavicular cervical lymphnodes larger one is 12mm my report was refampicin resistance indeterminate I started medication on feb 20 then i stopped using my self from april 20 tell now I didn't went for checkup also in between and yesterday i went for ultrasound sound some lynphnodes were decreased in size but some new 5 number of nodes started submantle nodes. All are 5mm each... Can i go for biopsy again is it necessary
Yes biopsy is needed.
Send the biopsy samples for
1. Gene Xpert Ultra
2. AfB cultures Rapid
3. Histopathology
Cultures are mandatory so that later when it is positive, drug testing can be done on it.
New lymph nodes can come in ongoing treatment however it is important to rule out drug resistance.
Biopsy should be done from the biggest possible node.
If biopsy is not feasible then wait and watch. Keep following up regularly with your doctor.
Keep taking medicines as advised.
