I work at chipotle and that might be because they fry a certain amount of chips in the morning and then they sit in metal tubs with a loose plastic lid until being packaged. Also the bags, while being not destructive of the environment, just suck at keeping them fresh
Moes is also less calories for the most part, i basically lived off of moes for a solid 6 months, id buy a moes burrito and queso everyday with a starbucks frappe from next door, the calorie intake was about 1700 and i lost a bunch of weight from quarantine. I calculated the same meal, same ingredients from Chipotle and it was over 1800. Its not much but important for micromanaging calories.
How is one moe’s/chipotle burrito 1700-1800 calories? The frappe’s calories not counted in that total right? If not, absolutely insane you managed to lose weight consuming that everyday unless your previous caloric intake was just way too high. A good tip for eating healthy in the future brother, micromanaging the amount of calories something like queso/frappes would have is negligible considering you shouldn’t be eating that type of stuff multiple times a week. Even if you’re consuming less food/calories by having one extra large burrito and frappe the type of nutrition you’re getting from that will wreck you in the future/lead to diabetes.
In Asia, we don't call them "restaurants", when we say "We're going to a restaurant", that would be some fancy restaurant with nice sitting area. Generally we just say their name when we're referring to fast food.

I like pico but only with like chips I don’t like it in stuff. Lettuce I’ll only get with a bowl but not a burrito. I think it’s because the burrito is hotter and withers it more but bowls give it space to breathe. Onions I will have on literally anything and everything tho.

So, the reason why the burritos you order online from Chipotle (whether you order through their website or a 3rd party) are smaller than when you get them in the restaurant is because the ingredients are weighed when the employees assemble the online orders. There’s a set amount of chicken, rice, etc that they can use for each order. That’s what a manager told a customer when he came in and complained about the size of the burritos he ordered online while I was in the middle of ordering my food.
I worked at Chipotle from 2012 to 2016 in college. I can say that it is typically made with fresh and high quality ingredients. When Chipotle is made right, it absolutely slaps. I've never gotten stale chips from Moe's. Hell I've taken chips home and let them sit in the bag overnight and they haven't gotten stale at all.
Yep, same for me. Chipotle chips are always just a bit stale while Moe's chips are always crunchy.
I work at chipotle and that might be because they fry a certain amount of chips in the morning and then they sit in metal tubs with a loose plastic lid until being packaged. Also the bags, while being not destructive of the environment, just suck at keeping them fresh
They typically have to fry more chips about 3/4 of the way through the open hours
Chipotle has never been better than Moes
Always has been. Especially if you need to wave your phone at the counter to get actual portions.
Chipotle shaking in their boots right now
I like at how charlie said gimme that borito it's almost the same as saying "gimme that shit" 😂
Workers at Moes always seemed nicer, at least where I live.
Same brother. It's that southern hospitality in the culture
It’s gotta be that empty gas can tip jar that makes them so nice. Iykyk 😂
9:01 that burp sounded insane xD sounded like if a video game froze mid-convo
Had me rolling 😂
Burger comment this is because u get way more food at chipotle
In Asia, we don't call them "restaurants", when we say "We're going to a restaurant", that would be some fancy restaurant with nice sitting area. Generally we just say their name when we're referring to fast food.
So, as a former Chipotle employee, I can confirm the guac is peoduced daily in store from fresh avocados. I will chime in, Chipotle overhalled their products after the Ecoli outbreaks. About 8 years ago, more preprepped food, chipotle use to produce everything by hand.
Someone get this man a Pancheros burrito asap. He's be denied.
Seriously! They went on about mixing up the ingredients in the burrito and I was like..is Panch not in FL? That's literally their thing! Lol
No lettuce, onions or pico,Matt has the palate of a 10 year old lol
I like pico but only with like chips I don’t like it in stuff. Lettuce I’ll only get with a bowl but not a burrito. I think it’s because the burrito is hotter and withers it more but bowls give it space to breathe. Onions I will have on literally anything and everything tho.
I’m the same. I just want meat, cheese, rice and beans. Dipped in salsa and sour cream.
Both of them do man, they both like basically plain everything. Just meat and cheese typically, the taste buds of children
@@BotBrendan Oh, pish posh, assuming you eat the burrito immediately after you buy it that lettuce is going to be wilting from heat for all of five minutes, if that. I've never noticed it.
Bunch of 10 year old out here.
I was hoping he was talking about Moe’s Tavern
Nope. Even the comment section is full of Moe's turfing. I just watched one long ass ad for Moe's.
My girlfriend works at Chipotle. You guys are 100% right about less portions for Uber/ Doordash orders. every order is supposed to be out and ready to pack for pickup in roughly 10 minutes, so the workers rush to get everything out, and thus put less shit on everything
Moe’s saved my broke ass during college. “Get a bag of chips with every order” -> buy an order of queso dip.
They actually let me do that, and damn did that help (don’t worry, my palate is less salty now).
Idk where y’all are getting you’re chipotle but every time I go it’s fire a don’t know what’s going on but I am and always will pick chipotle
Maybe you still got Hispanic working it instead of colleg kids
My local Chipotle changed from Hispanic ladies to college kids and the quality dipped hard
wtf is Moes?
Let me guess, west coast?
@@civilwarguy4740 Midwest, never heard of that shit in my life until today. I checked there is some in my state.
These boys talking about it like it’s a well known chain though, it is not.

I don't think I've ever heard of Moe's either, at least not in this capacity
It’s known in the East Coast tbh. Moes is pretty fucking good ngl.
Chipotle's wasn't at FIU when i went to college, Moe's is the clear winner.
You order tacos if you are eating in, but a burrito can come with you even into the shower
I believe the Chipotle CEO today responded to the portioning today actually

Moes goes hard
Moe’s is hands down better than chipotle. Moe’s will actually fill you up where chipotle only gives you enough for a toddler (the chips won me over).
I feel attacked around 15:03 seconds only babies get tacos I’m a 6’5 185 pound grown man who sits with his nieces and nephews and enjoys his tacos 😂
6’5 185 isn’t a grown man that’s an extra long broom 😂
@@No6edtime well I was 514 so feel like I’m doing pretty 👍🏻
There's no Moes in my state so Imma have to give it to Chipotle. I would choose Moes if they opened one in my area
Coloradan spotted
When we were in Colorado we had chipotle too many times because there were no Moe’s.
@@kzt396 close but were in the same time zone (Idaho). I think theres some Moes in Oregon but they haven't opened any in Idaho.
@john_toss if there are any around, try qdoba. Different than Moe's but much better than Chipotle

Just a lil more
Matt has such a good personality
I worked at Chipotle from 2012 to 2016 in college. I can say that it is typically made with fresh and high quality ingredients. When Chipotle is made right, it absolutely slaps.
The problem now is inconsistency. Sometimes its good, sometimes its terrible. They seem to only care about cutting corners to make a profit. They used to care, but now they don't.
I can't believe Charlie went to the place from the Simpsons!
