People should watch your videos in order to see how YOU play a certain game, rather than watching it in order to see/experience the game in itself. There are tons of 'let's plays' of every single game, including complete walkthroughs and what not. If people are interested in those, they can go ahead and watch those. This game can get (very) hard at times; you will make mistakes, mess up, die, miss out on things, etc. It'll happen. Don't worry about it. RUclips channels and RUclips content is and should be about the author (you, in this case) and the author's experiences with games. If that includes frustration, so be it. And the last thing I'd like to share is to try to make it clear to people that when you're theorizing or asking rhetoric questions regarding the plot or things to come, that you're not interested in people telling you what's going to happen. Of course talking about things that have already occurred is always possible, but even that is a slippery slope because people tend to tell you that "X has happened because later on Y will happen". The choice aspect of The Walking Dead games... that's kinda weak. The story doesn't change as much as it should. But the first season, with Lee, absolutely has strong writing of comparable quality to The Last of Us.
Donald Cho Last of Us is a great game, tho I’m confused why they decided to foward 20 years later. Possibly prequels (but TLOF2 takes place in the future) I would love to see how everything unfolded like the 1-2 weeks the infection started. It would’ve been pure chaos but they didn’t do anything... I’m hoping TLOF2 isn’t the last game of this franchise. Hopefully prequels in the future can dive into the first weeks or months of the infection. That’s my only con with this game
OooOooh I really like this girl. She's really chill, low key and cute. Not some screaming bimbo or an obnoxious douchebag trying to make really lame jokes all the time and ruining the story of the game which I've seen far too many times in LP's. She's taking her time and she seems to really enjoy the story, that's really important in a let's player. I've seen so many LP's of this game (fuck I just can't get enough of it and I enjoy seeing people's reactions) but hey, I'll stick around for one more time since I'm curious to see what Katie thinks about it. Such an emotional game, truly a masterpiece.

I have watched a lot of youtubers playing the intro, not a single one could withhold tears or genuine shock, even Angryjoe and others. That says something about LoU.
Tips: 1. Abuse Joel's "Hightened hearing" ability 2. Not all areas require you to kill all the things 3. Headshots matter and Ammo is scarce. So if you shoot at something, make it count.
I just found you. I can already tell I will like your playthrough of this game by how you actually care about what's going on and how you are giving your natural reactions to things, as opposed to the fake personalities of other lets players

Everything you missed or messed up in this video was due to you only wearing half of your headset. The dog barking and getting killed at 8:33, the first time Tommy says "This way! Through the alley!" at 15:10 etc. Nice vid though, take my like.
Yeah I like the reaction style but It was so painful by 28:35 when she says "why can't I hear your voice" after the dog, and tommy and the ally. That she's listening with only one ear bud for ...some reason. This just became frustrating to watch. The first time you experience this game is pretty magical in my opinion. This game has sophisticated stereo separation you can adjust and watching someone experiencing it for the first time with one half of a crappy looking earbud missing all these sounds "why can't I hear that guy? why is she reacting to nothing?" etc.. was just to painful to watch after a few.
I don't know a single human being who didn't have their eyes watering up when seeing that scene... I beat the game 5 times and it still get to me... In fact, I saw that scene about 30 times and still get to me.

The game usually gives you a hint after a few seconds. Katie didn't get the hint, I guess because she was too far away. So basically the game punished Katie for searching too thoroughly.

Katie what is going on is the town is under martial law still and the government has set up a strict curfew and anyone other than the soldiers caught outside past the curfew will be shot on site even if you aren't a zombie, the fireflies are a rebellious group who either recruits people to be part of their gang or anyone rebelling against them with have to fight them or kill them, i think in most cases the fireflies are a bad group and you still have alot of zombies to watch out for

Sarah is still on record IMO as one of the most adorable video game characters...which is why this opening sucks all the more. as much as I hate what happens...I makes sense...containment would be the military's #1 priority...they wouldn't give a damn about a single life. FYI, as you asked to leave a message, there's basically four types of people in this world: survivors (like Joel) who are basically civilians mostly, the infected, the fireflies (who are revolutionaries) and the military.
Don't know why I hadn't watched this one - probably cos I hadn't played it myself at the time. At least I have a new playthrough to enjoy then! Miss you, Katie, hope things are ok - even though it feels a bit like we are living this game at the moment. X

I don't know how I have never discovered this channel before. I'm always looking for new RUclipsrs who've played and reacted to some of my favorite story-heavy games... and there's a whole bunch here like TLOU, Life is Strange, Until Dawn, Heavy Rain! Hey! I've finished the game 8 times, and then I started to watch people playing. I just want you to know that you've got one more subscriber, just because of this very first video. I didn't subscribe to other channels, but you, you seem to play as someone that like to play games, and it's reeeally nice!

The game usually gives you a hint after a few seconds. Katie didn't get the hint, I guess because she was too far away. So basically the game punished Katie for searching too thoroughly.

Katie what is going on is the town is under martial law still and the government has set up a strict curfew and anyone other than the soldiers caught outside past the curfew will be shot on site even if you aren't a zombie, the fireflies are a rebellious group who either recruits people to be part of their gang or anyone rebelling against them with have to fight them or kill them, i think in most cases the fireflies are a bad group and you still have alot of zombies to watch out for
I'm a new subscriber and have been enjoying and binging on a bunch of your stuff the past week or so. I've finally gotten to your Let's Play of one of my favorite games of all-time, *THE LAST OF US!* I'm also very glad you seem to have actually finished this Let's Play, unlike your *The Walking Dead* and *Beyond: Two Souls* Let's Plays... I had to check first before investing my time in it. haha
8:50-8:55 what was Sarah freaking out about? The dog being killed by something ;)...as for running faster, to be fair, Joel WAS holding his daughter, he didn't want to drop her...and damned, that opening scene.

I miss you Katie. I used to love watching your videos whenever I had a bad day. I still watch them not but I’ve watched them so many it’s just not the same. Please come back to RUclips or at least give us some news on how your doing.
Sarah is still on record IMO as one of the most adorable video game characters...which is why this opening sucks all the more. as much as I hate what happens...I makes sense...containment would be the military's #1 priority...they wouldn't give a damn about a single life. FYI, as you asked to leave a message, there's basically four types of people in this world: survivors (like Joel) who are basically civilians mostly, the infected, the fireflies (who are revolutionaries) and the military.
Don't know why I hadn't watched this one - probably cos I hadn't played it myself at the time. At least I have a new playthrough to enjoy then!
