I can believe he wanted Kane in some aspect but how much of a priority was Kane? When he had DDG, Was Onana more important at £50+m than buy Kane?Was Mount more important £60m? £72m Hojlund? So…..There’s a budget of £182M that summer and Kane wasn’t the player he went for first it as a marquee signing, it was Mount (Marquee signing) make it make sense, I don’t care what the club said because the club valued Antony at £25m but the manager demands player therefore the club over spend for the player therefore Erik had the power to get Kane.

Eth is chatting shit when hes talking about the academy. Garnacho literally was debuted by Ragnick. Mainoo was always making it. Erik hasnt brought through that many players compared to other managers here.
Erik is lying with mainoo because he signed 2 midfielders over him and mainoo only got in because Mount, casemiro, eriksen got injured.
Erik literally said mount was a cm signing and gave him no7 and 250-300k pw. So idk why people let him lie like this 😂

Say I find it highly hilarious you said his system shouldn’t have to rely on one person for it to work. It’s clearly not one person when he’s not that ball playing Centre about to begin with, but if Manchester city is number six is not playing they cannot win, which means they’re overall on one player, when Arsenal sent Baxi injured they’re so highly reliant for the system on that defender. It’s not a novelty that one person is the glue to system.
