Quality bit of kit that mate, I love Beaver Craft gear, sharp as they come aren't they mate. Always feels better a camp when you've had a hard weeks work. Lovely relaxing camp under the stars mate. Fab work on the bowl the day after too Rick, it's looking mint. Looking forward to seeing the finished model. Top work.

I'll expect you to be carving out a CANOE with that tool shortly. They use a straight bladed version here as brickies/carpenters hammers. I've got a couple in the workshop, they have a special hole in the head so you can pull nails out like a claw hammer. One day I will sharpen the edge on one, but I doubt it will stay sharp as the metal in these tools is cheap, but you have to use what you have got, stone age man did did his carving with flints and bones and whatever they had. 👍
