Great watch Ben , I certainly like the emphasis on the safety aspects on fishing a snaggy venue, all so important to preserve such a fantastic future for pike fishing. Keep up the good work.😃👌💥🎣🐊
Always think Ben should get the coverage the likes of Mark Pitchers and Mozza etc do, not a dig against them but Pike fishing deserves its own high coverage and Ben is well up amongst the best. Always makes great videos
Cheers Ben, Sam, I enjoyed that a great watch, some good info & a lovely looking venue. Only thing was the leader knot, couldn't quite see how it was done. But a great video 👍
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. We’ll make more instructional videos that show various rigs, knots, and making traces later this year ready for the coming season. In a nutshell, once you “blob” your fluro leader, you loop the braided mainline back on itself, wrap it around the leader 7 times then gently pull it tight so it sits neatly flush against the “blob”.
Top man tite lines from scotland great to see you showing people before they go can be a fright when your young as i was love pike fishing now pikeing for beginners :)
@@FoxRageTV 1 of the better vids. Am usually big venue fishing..(Lochore Meadows in Fife) Had a couple of crackers years ago but havejust started back up again so happy days 🎣😁🏴✌️
Good stuff Ben, love the fact that you emphasize pike welfare. I have two nets on the go every session which makes life a lot easier as a solo piker. Crackin twenty by the way, top angling. I have two nets on the go
Feels so weird when you always fish in venues that seems specialized in pikefishing. In Scandinavia we just have trout in our venues. In sweden it's big with c&r, but alot of people kill pikes. And Norway is a slaughter on all fish, put pike in particular. But with that said, your always welcome to sweden to fish for pike. Would be a lot of fun learning from you about deadbait @ruggedflies
Absolutely love watching this video, Ben is top quality. Winter can’t come quick enough! - is the fleece Ben wearing going to be released in the same colour way? Many thanks!

Great knots, I use the same blob knots good for attaching leaders👌
Yes they are 💪🏼 thank you for watching 🎥🙂
Has the leader knot got a name, couldn't quite see how it was tied.
@@richpeas1924 blob knot is what sea fishing folk call it

Hi Ben, when checking the drag before striking, how are you actually wanting that drag to be set?
Maybe a bit of a silly question but how long a leader would you recomend?
I must pay that venue a visit soon as I live very close to.I used to fish it regular with mixed results but I never caught a twenty .
Hi just a quick question...when using a ledger stem how long should the trace be in your opinion please? .......Nice pike by the way Ben well done
Thank you for watching 🙂 A “regular” length trace works in most situations and many anglers use our ready made traces (50cm) with a ledger stem
@FoxRageTV thank you and no problem I'm subscribed to the channel so I watch all content 😊
Where can I get the 'nuggets' that you put in the drop off run ring, please?
They’re the Fox carp PVA strips www.foxint.com/home/product/fox-edges-pva-strips?c=pva-arma-mesh
Pop up? 🤔😃
Ben always pops up here and there 😂🎣
