    The reason why its more expensive in Nigeria compared to export price is that the cost of paying for corruption is extremely high, abroad he doesn't have to pay any one, but in Naija every step has to be paid for. Blame the civil service, traditional rulers, security agencies and finally the settlement he pays to the politicians in power. So my brother its not dangote. Even common bakery in your local area you will be shocked to know the amount paid to settle corrupt elements. Thus increasing cost of doing business. If you dont they will frustrate your business till the end. Its so sad.

      Yet, nobody wants to cleanse the country of corruption.
      @Ahmednjidda6182, thanks for the explanation.

      says who? At least in Nigeria, you don't pay for water. I live in UK and you pay for water, council tax, electric, gas/oil, National insurance, car insurance, house insurance, Tax, NHS fee. So what are you saying that we don't pay for every step we take. Even items bought in stores are taxed. Your pension money is taxed after they've removed tax from your main salary. After all this money is deducted, you're only left with little pennies.
      The issue Nigeria has is lack of job and lack of living wage. The cost of living everywhere is high but, Nigerians feels it the most because there are no job for masses.

    Dangote never said he opened a refinery for charity,if he is given crude oil at naira equivalent per barrel then he has no option than to sell petrol at close to naira equivalent of one dollar,he has loans and salaries to pay too.

    Are Nigerians going to help repay his debt? The system is the problem. And why aren't other Nigerians coming out to compete in the industry? Is it because they aren't ready to face what Dangote went through?

      Dangote isn't the cause of Nigeria not refining her own oil.

    This guy just jumped in the middle of discussion. You didnt even follow the story from the beginning. This is an uninformed horrible video. Go back to the back and forth of Dangote/FG/NNPC from January and understand the story. You yourself do not have data and you are yelling Dangote. Or you're a comedian!

    Dangote doesn’t owe anyone anything, he is a business man and he wants a positive margin in his investment. Besides he needs to pay workers and keep his factory afloat. Don’t blame him, blame your government or build your own refinery. Thank you
