These bill is going to expose so many states that are unproductive state. We all Know the region with the lowest internal generated revenue. Why does the north always shout when some certain decisions does not favor their unproductive states, same thing happened during CBN transfer of staffs to other regions, is transfer of staffs a problem, if you don't want to be transferred resign, they cannot because if they're asked to write exams to get employed to CBN large number of them would not pass the entrance exams. The North doesn't have majority in the Senate, the South is not United that's why
      Let's analyse it
19 Northern states vs 17southern states.
Each states has three senators but in practice Kwara is counted as the North but they always go with the Southwest ( the Yorubas) that brings us to 18 states each.
The Yoruba speaking Kogi west senatorial district always go with South West.
The problem is that South is not United. I am almost certain that the Obedient movement will certainly go with the not to spite Tinubu.
This has been the undoing of the South since independence. Inability of Awolowo & Azikiwe to come together in 1959/1960 placed Nigeria in the hands of the North at in 1960. Unfortunately the South haven't learnt anything till now

What is the definition of Value Added Tax? What value is a buyer adding to a fixed asset? Capital allowance is granted for any asset used to produce income. So the business does not suffer any loss at all. However, IMF and World Bank may suggest this tax reform to satisfy Foreign Investors. The government will lose a lot of revenue because government only refund the difference between Input and Output VAT. Even if this is done in UK or elsewhere, Nigeria lacks the system to check on or monitor fixed assets purchased, returned, sold or destroyed.
