Good day Everyone. I would like to apologize for the wrong information about Dual motor AWD. It is actually FWD Front Wheel Drive. (5:20) I made a mistake. Thank you for your understanding. Again Thank you!
Don't blame yourself over that. You were likely just misinformed by the inaccurate listing in their website. I do see that it got edited now to reflect the correct information now though. Anyone who wasn't geeking out on that would have missed that inaccuracy. PS. I wish they did have an AWD version though. That would be an awesome hot hatch. Keep up the awesome content!
Main Downside - there are NO FAST CHARGERs for China standard - GBT sa Pinas... for the GBT AC we use a adaptor so we can use Type 2 Chargers sa SM malls....
@@glennjv01 Yes. The price of this car is relatively high, and one might assume that it is durable because of its price. However, it's important to remember that durability is not always determined by price alone. Hindi ako naniniwalang matibay talaga ito, as its price abroad is only around $10,000 to $12,000. Therefore, buying this car is considered a big risk because it is considered as only a cheap car from its country of origin.
@@joeypabron4699 BYD Ph has announced that the BYD Seagull will launch on September 27 at Ayala mall. We've seen it, but we can't share any information yet; it's still under embargo. The price is better compared to our previous vlog. Stay tuned to our channel. See you sir!
So we cannot be certain about the durability of this car because it was not manufactured by experts in car manufacturing countries like Japan. Therefore, buying this car entails a significant risk, as it is considered a cheap car from its country of origin.
But so far dito sa pinas parang wala pa namang ganong nangyari.
Greedy Corporation in the Philippines. The government gives tax free benefits and corps does not pass that benefit to the consumer. They want to keep the benefits for THEMSELVES.
It's the China price actually. Though when discussed it's using $$$. There's a price war in China now as they're trying to outsell foreign legacy car makers. It's not unexpected for BYD to have a markup on selling outside China, but our local distributors add up even more. It has been like this even before unfortunately. Last I heard the US wanted to impose 100% tariff on Chinese cars. These will likely be more expensive in the US.
Kala ko cheapest EV in the planet itong BYD sewgull nagkamali pala ako mahal pag dating sa pinas halos doble.
2. that's normal. after imports and tariffs, it will easily go at the $20k mark. brazil and mexico has them between $19k-$21k. pero considering zero import tax for PH until 2028, looks like tubo lang ng importer
Dual motor AWD? Seriously? That would be a first as thatis unheard of everywhere else. I call shenanigans on that. I would be glad to be proven wrong though, one can hope. The seagull is their cheapest model in the global market EV lineup. I wish it does have AWD. As it is, that’s erroneous information. It’s also sad that it’s almost 1.2M considering that it’s only around $12k USD for their top of the line trim in china. This one is only $10k USD in china.
