@@byenye6386 I grew up in the Catskill Mountains in Upstate NY. Hated the weather six months out of the year. It didn't help matters any that my home was on the north side of the hill. Every February there was freezing rain/snow mix that lasted days it seemed. In 1959, when I first learned of Maui, I made a vow to myself that when I grew up, I was moving there. In 1993 I realized my commitment to myself after much planning and saving money to make the move easy. Haven't looked back. I love the year-round summer-like weather. At this moment it's 76 F and 70% humidity. Very livable. Stay well. Aloha!
You have read the moving story before. Still find it funny, some kids of parents have no idea of how to run a business, the only skill they have is being big headed and spending " DADDIES MONEY"
Hello RedWheel hope you are well. Thanks for your stories everyday. Hi everyone hope you are all well too. Please stay safe.🏴😷😁👍. Have a great day everyone
Moving story: Just reminds me of advice one of my instructors gave my class. “Listen to the guy with experience. They know more then your degree does.”
And this is why I tend to pay the utmost attention at nearly all times when the more experienced guy/gal around is teaching someone something essential or highly important.
When I was younger, I worked as a janitor and I never understood the abuse folks hurled my way like I was less of a human than they were. Now, I'm wheelchaired and get a different flavor of that attitude, but I'm no longer paid to be nice. Sucks to be them at those times.
GOOD AFTERNOON RED WHEEL AND ALL OF NEVERLAND!!! 👋👋👋👋 It's another B-E-A-UTIFUL DAY!!!! 🌞 😁 We're over the Hump on Hump Day!!! WHOOOOO!!!! Let's continue having a Whimsical Wednesday, Everybody!!!😃 Stay safe. 😷 Stay hydrated. 💦 Stay blessed. 🙌 😇 🙏
For anyone who doesn't know why parking in San Francisco is such a mess, I once read in one of their local newspapers that on any given day, there are 30,000 parking spaces in the city -- and a minimum of 50,000 cars. In the neighborhood in which my daughter lived, it wasn't unusual to see that someone had given up finding a legal parking spot and had just parked on the sidewalk.
I generally do not know why so many people seem to have problems changing a tire. As long as you have a passing understanding of physics and have heard the word gravity once or twice the process is easy to grasb.
I managed to change the tire on the car I was driving just fine when I did it. It helps that I've watched and also helped my dad with changing them on the cars before.

I wish they taught us this in ROTC before giving us our officer's commission. I made such a fool of myself when I was a "butter bar".

I'm not at all surprised. There are people out there who get confused by doorknobs.
