    Her reaction was inappropriate? Most of women gymnasts have only one olympic! They work since their born to do olympics! It's right that she cried, I have cried for her!
    So stop judge her. She is amazing.

    I sincerely hope no one said her reaction was inappropriate. ANYONE would break down in tears after that. If they didn't, they didn't want it that badly. The reaction I remember is her coming back for the team final and conducting herself in one of the most mature ways most adults will never do in their entire lives. This lady has class.

    Jordyn was amazing, a world all around champion and Olympic team champion. Qualifying that day wasn’t her day, and it was tough to see her so upset. She rallied back though, fought for her team and that gold they won, and proved her mettle. Now she is coaching and positively influencing a whole generation of amazing athletes!!

  • @Kitty27281
    @Kitty27281 11 лет назад +10

    It could be just me, but I could sense something was wrong was Jordyn since the first day of the trials. She was taking very tiny steps on beam that was very unusual for her, and during her double double pass on floor, she took a very tiny step after landing that which she normally does not do, and repeated it at London. I wasn't surprised when they announced she had a stress fracture since she was showing signs. I admire her for competing still and acting strong though she had to be in pain.

    I love Jordyn Wieber so much! I really hope she continues on for 4 more years and make it to Rio. She's so great a gymnast that to see her go out like that (not making AA finals) would really be heartbreaking. Love your montages on Jordyn as well as all the other gymnasts, by the way. I think I'm going to subscribe in appreciation :)!

      Jordyn total point is way lower than aliya mustafina in world all around championship 2011. Aliya score 61.2 higher than jordyn only 58.43. what all of you talking about. btw usa let jordyn robbed aliya in at&t championship with only 0.06 different total point. Tim digget said aliya complete her jump in at&t dance floor but jordyn fell from uneven bars. Obviously usa rob gold medal from aliya in at&t. Aliya deserve that winning in olympic and jordyn cant surpass her even if she qualify. aliya is better than jordyn.

    • @saragrant9749
      @saragrant9749 Год назад

      Only by themselves. Jordyn was honestly robbed by her COACH who constructed routines that were not going to get her scores that would put her into AA finals. She had connections on beam that would never be credited by international judges- who are rightly much more strict. Her bars was a constant mess. Victoria robbed herself by having that absolutely blown vault, simple as that.

  • @smithtra85
    @smithtra85 12 лет назад +3

    The reason why I think it is sad she didn't make it to the all around is because she qualified 4th out of all of the gymnasts. I understand the two person per country rule but if you qualify 4th and see all of these other gymnasts that qualified behind you go to the all-around, it is tough. I wish that she would have gone but I don't begrudge Gabby or Ally their chance, I just wish the rule woule be changed.

    • @pme8370
      @pme8370 4 года назад

      I don't know. Her routines were not well constructed and she was making small errors on them throughout 2011-2012 way before she had an injury. I feel like she rarely won outright--she won cause others lost it for themselves or she was given the benefit of the doubt. I never felt like she was that dominant--certainly not as much as a Shawn Johnson. I think she was also pushed into doing skills too soon in her career and was not paced correctly. She was among the best athletes in her quad but forgettable afterward.

  • @brodypenn

    I think the two per country rule should only apply to individual events but AA should be all the top qualifiers, the best against the best.

    Jordyn was underscored during qualifications on beam and floor. Both routines should have gotten 15.0. She had great form on both. That would have gotten her a score of 60.666. Despite being underscored, she had a score of 60.032, placed fourth, and therefore should have gotten into the all around final.
