Your Dr is lovely, nice bedside manner. Medical equipment has come on so much since my last son, wonderful clear image of baby girl 2. Micah is such a cutie pie 🥰 sing along in her own way. Our children are very precious. x
Micah looks so sweet talking and singing with those pretty little teeth of hers! Sissy is adorable smiling for her ultrasound. She's already learned about posing whenever a camera's around. Lol! Glad all went so well at the ultrasound and feeling better. 👏😊 Blessings for Stella to be safe, hopefully improve, continue to be happy.🙏
Your little one is smiling all the time because she knows what an amazing mom and dad you are and how loved it she is as for the binky try it worst case scenario you just have to let her have it again it's not the end of the world
So very happy to hear you are feeling better Jess! Excited for baby girl to arrive. Can't wait to see you do the nursery. Micah is growing up too quickly. Seems like yesterday she was just born. Cutest little girl ever! ❤️ Love, From Florida
We also have a boxer with leg issues... We purchased nonslip rugs to put around our house. It helps her a lot. We placed them in areas that we know she struggles to keep her feet underneath her. Small cost to help Our sweet girl
My friend had a binky ceremony. They went to Build A Bear and had them put the bink in with the heart. It’s a special lovie now (he’s 8, they did the bear when he was 2.5), and he holds after a hard day. I also had a friend who built up getting rid of the bink at 3 for her daughter, and the rest of the week, her daughter had a really hard time and asked to be 2 again because the cold turkey loss of that security.
They make booties for dogs for wood and tile, slippery floors we use them for or dogs back feet and it has really helped. It takes time for them to get used to but it really does make a big difference.
My daughter is a month younger then Micah when she was around 5 months she one day would no longer take the binky. I thought it was so strange but I just went with it! Micah looks so stinking cute in her winter gear 🥰
My 8 year old bulldog has the same hip and joint issues and slips all over our laminate floors. We had to get him little grippy socks made for dogs, and they work excellent, they actually seem to help his pain too!
my parents always love to tell the story of how my grandma tried to give me a binky after my parents repeatedly told her, no she REALLY doesn't like them... She put the binky in my mouth and I promptly threw it out the car window
So glad you are feeling better....both of you. Our dentist is the one who told our middle child (he was 2 at the time) that he needed to stop with the pacifier. We asked him if he could tell our son that it was time to stop. He did and that afternoon I took it away from him before his nap and he never fussed for it ever again. It was so easy. Love and hugs from Norway!
I wanted to stay with Jess and see what she was cooking in the Foodi! I bought one several months ago and still haven't used it. I'm a bit intimidated. Lol Maybe Jess can post some videos sometimes and some recipes? 😁 Oh and the fridge phonics is the BEST!!! My now 16 year old knew not only the alphabet song but all the letters and sounds by age 2! The Leap Pad Word Whammer is also awesome. If she doesn't have it already, I highly recommend it. Love you guys! Oh and Jess... I'm so glad you are feeling better. 🙂
For stella.. it sounds dumb but i’ve tried this with my dog since he’s got the same problem.. we’ve put balloons on his hind paws and it helps a lot with his traction
Wow! Sometimes it seems like Micah is growing up so fast!! Or she is just learning new things so fast, is probably more accurate! I love this age, when they understand everything you say or ask her - her little head nods to say yes and no are just the cutest!! 😍 Also, I’m sure Micah is saying more words, I think it is just so adorable when they first start to talk and properly use their voice! It’s just a whole new phase! Little ones around Micah’s age seem like sponges!! They pick up so many new skills, words, or putting words together and they come out with something completely random and you think, “Where on earth did she hear that?!!” Sorry, I tend to get overexcited with babies, especially around this age, which is one of my favourite stages in their development. Unfortunately I am unable to have babies myself, so I am kind of living vicariously through you guys!! I’m not saying that for pity, I have been coming to terms with it all for a little while now. I just wanted to explain why I get so excited about Micah and I will definitely be excited for baby number 2!!!! Although I was watching Austin’s other channel when you fell pregnant with Micah and when she came into the world, I wasn’t in the right headspace at that time to watch this channel and follow your first pregnancy and Micah’s birth, then her first few months as it was around that time that I found out that I had to have a total hysterectomy (everything removed, except for my ovaries) at 37 years old, childless and after spending thousands of dollars on fertility tests and treatments and trying to get pregnant (unsuccessfully of course) alone/single, after coming out of a very long term relationship, then going on to have said hysterectomy and just being extremely sad, angry at the world and quite bitter!!!!!!! Anywaaaaaay!!! I am mostly out the other side of all of that and the unhealthy mindset that accompanied it. So, I am enjoying watching Micah reach new milestones and just all of her cuteness!! Plus, Jess, you look absolutely gorgeous with your beautiful baby bump. 😘😁
I have a 14 year old boxer mix and she has spine problems. Rugs on any floors that arent carpet help her a lot. Especially in longer stretches when she has to take several steps across. We have several cheap ones placed around the house to help her legs and hips.
I love how many scans you get in the US, in the UK we only get 2 scans throughout our pregnancy, a dating scan and nuchal test at around 12 weeks and then an anomaly scan at around 20 weeks. Granted we don't pay for our healthcare or scans etc during pregnancy but I wish they done more than 2. So glad all is going so well with your pregnancy. Xox
Oh, ok thanks for letting me know guys. I thought we was the only ones to get just 2 scans. Yer I've paid for a few scans too just to keep my mind at rest after having 2 miscarriages last year.
Hey hey hey! I hope things continue in the right direction. Also hope that the binky transition goes smoothly. Only 1 of my sister's 4 kids actually used a binky and she was a thumbsucker from the womb.
When I was younger my parents prepped me the month before Xmas to say that because I'm getting a big girl I had to bag all my dummy's ( Binky's ) up and leave them for him on Xmas eve to give to the babies in the world and he will reward me for my kindness. It worked and I never asked for it again. I'm planning to use this for my little one when he arrives next month.
I’m a phlebotomist in Canada and we also administer the glucose 1 hr and 2 hr tests. We discontinued the orange drink and now give a plain clear drink. 100% of patients say it’s worse than the orange unfortunately.
All four of my kids just stopped! They knew if they threw it out of the crib then it was gone for that time. They were all under 15 months old. I just didn’t make it a big deal. But all kiddos are different. I now have 15 grandies and that seemed to work for most of them. Not out premi twins though. Well hope it helps. You both are great parents and prayers!
I got lucky. None of my 3 kids ever used one. Never wanted it. But keep in mind that even if you get her completely off of the binky before baby #2, that once baby gets here micha may want to go back since baby has one. Just something to keep in mind. Glad everything is going well.
Every time I see Micah she seems to be doing something new. I know we don't know eachbother but I love seeing her grow up xxx As for the binky (we called it a Dee dee, shirt for dummy) maybe you could try and not give it to her unless she asks for it. I don't see any harm in babies have them at nap time and night time just in the home maybe. What ever makes you and Micah happy do it, just take what people say as advice not fact xxx
My son never used a binky . He would gag every time he tried to put it in his mouth. From what i see here, she seems ready to say goodbye to the binky. My niece was the same way. when it was time to take them away , my sister made it seem like they were giving the binky to someone else that needed one. My niece got all excited and wanted to wrap them up like a present. ♥
Hearing Mica's singing was soo adorable and can sing for a baby when she looked up at you precious "" Mica In Concert" but to mention the sonogram of the baby she looking at you Precious miracle =) seeing Mica blowing us a kiss sooo sTINNN nk'N CU uuu TE !
Try some tart cherries for Miss Stella, they are good for her joints and arthritis. My fiance's dogs and My dog Riley love them. I just give them dried tart cherries, but they do have pills at the pet store.
Hey jess and austin , I'm so happy to see everything is going better now . Maybe you can give me some ideas . My daughter is 10 months old almost and doesn't want to pull up and she rolls everywhere instead of crawling . When did micah start doing all of this ? I just need some extra mom advice
Our daughter is just a little older than Micah (20 months) and we just let the binky run its course. One day she just went to sleep without it, we put them all away that day, and she never seemed to want it since. This was around 14 months, but we might have also gotten lucky.
If you wait till the baby comes you will have to wait a lot longer. We told my daughter when she turns 2 the binky was going away. Then about 3 months before that I told her "it got lost". One nap with crying and then was fine after that. She didn't need braces unlike my son that had his till 3
My mom told me when I was a little over 1 when I as a baby threw my binkie in the trash lol and my dad took the trash out without them knowing I did. Talk about a+ baby lol
We had three Labs that ended up having joint hip pain and they told us to give her bufferin and if you give her flaxseed and glucosamine I think it is that helps as well definitely ask your vet but it helped our girl tremendously
I tried everything for my daughter to get rid of her binkie . And I got fed up and threw it away she had a couple grumpy nights of sleep but she no longer uses her binkie now and it’s great ❤️
She may be ready to let it go. We had a hard time with out daughter and the binky but they used it to calm her before and after surgery. Our son was over the binky. He gave that up before 6 months but we struggled with the bottle with him. I say give it a shot. She may surprise you.
If you can't decide & don't want to drill big holes in your deck beams right away, look into hammock swing stands! We did that & it gave us lots of flexibility to move it around & even occasionally bring it inside!
Lol the binkie! When my sister was little my gandmother told her she was too old to have one and to throw it away.. sure enough my sister walked right up to the garbage and threw it away and was done with them from that day on. Me on the other hand i always needed mine.. eventually i lost them all (because yes i had many) and my parents stopped buying some so i just had to suck it up and deal without one :) But for micah i see she seems to have a teddy attached to it.. maybe she’s more attached to that than the actual binkie part?
I just did the glucose test before Christmas, and I was seriously expecting the drink to be AWFUL, but I thought it was okay. Sort of like 7up without the bubbles. The worst part was probably not falling asleep 😅
My daughter would not give up her binky. She was older than Micah. The dentist told us that it would cause her teeth to shift. We tried everything to ease her out of it but she wouldn't give it up. We ended up 'mailing' it to Santa and Santa sent her a present for being such a big girl. At first, she cried at night for it but eventually she was ok with it.
I’m jealous that you got to take yours home to do it 😂 I had to drink mine at the drs office but I was able to leave for the hour and go back. I had the clear one, it wasn’t bad at all ☺️
Sweet little stella we have boxer's as well... we lost one too cancer and one from the back legs... I will at continue to have boxers they are the best...
My daughter tossed her binky at 3 months old. I never managed her access to it at all. She used it when she wanted it. One day I offered it to her & she spit it out. She wouldn't take it at all after that. She never sucked her thumb either. She did gum it when she was teething, but that was it.
When my son was 1 yr and 2 months old he stopped using his binky all of a sudden all by himself. We took it and hid it to see if it was permanent and it was. He never looked for it again or had issues falling asleep. So if Micah already showed signs of no interest in the binky anymore try hiding it to see if she leaves it permanently if not she'll leave it when she's ready
My daughter is the same age as Micah, she nixed her pacifier at 5/6 months! She doesn't even know what to do with them, now. She has some, and just plays with them and tries to give them to the dogs. 😂😂
Glad everything is good -- "Gymrat" Jess hasn't been there for a week?! Wow you were sick. Given Austin's love of Horror, you could have a (Wes Craven) "THE CHILDREN UNDER THE STAIRS" Clubhouse for Micah & #2 Please give Holly a hug given what she's been going through -- I look forward to the "Month of Bold Make up" looks L&L video
I'm scared I might be pregnant, but like, a good scared? my fiance and I arent trying for a baby, and it's very difficult for me to carry a baby to term because for some reason my uterus rejects babies. I've had about 2 or 3 miscarriages with his babies. I'm having early pregnancy symptoms, but I havent reached my period date yet so I dont know. Your videos bring me so much happiness, and the love you guys have for each other and your little family means so much to me. I hope baby girl number 2 comes out as healthy as possible, but there is no doubt she will be happy with you guys as her parents.
When my daughter was a year old, I took her and her pacifier and bottles over to the trash can, and had her throw them away. Clapped, told her good girl, all of that. She cried a little bit for a couple of nights, then was fine. I just told her remember you threw them away. (after I had her toss them, when she wasn't around, I took them out of the trash and cut the ends off, so I wouldn't be tempted to give them back.) lol I also had her potty trained a couple of months before she turned 2. I had another baby on the way, and didn't want two in diapers.
I loved your make up look you look beautiful in white n the high collar too. Awe baby growing so well u guys are the best keep making awesome videos ✌️💗😀
The glucose test is not as bad as people make it seem. I only had to take the one hour one with each of my pregnancies. Maybe I would change my opinion if I had to do the three hour one.
As soon as my son started cutting teeth he no longer wanted his dummy (it's what we call "binkys" or "pacifiers" in the UK) he was around 6 months old xx
Does Stella have arthritis? My dog is 17 now and has it bad in his back legs and they’re the same and Stella’s :( he’ll just be standing and then he’ll fall because his back left just give out. Poor old Pups!! She looks great though, so cute, I miss Stella and Maple! 💕
Took my son until he was 2 to get rid of his pacifier. I took it away for nap time at first then when he would fall asleep at night I’d let him drop it out of his mouth and take it away. Eventually he stopped wanting it !
I only got two ultrasound when I was pregnant with my son, I wish we had regular ones 😔 the first one was just to make sure he was okay and he still looked like a peanut so you couldnt really see anything
My son threw his Pacifier one day in the car and after a week of him throwing it or not using it I just didn’t go find and and he was off it for good so maybe when they throw it and they know that they did it and then you don’t make it appoint to give it back it’s really time but all kids are different but her throwing I think is time to take it out of site and see how it goes. Sometimes I told my son that it went to grandmas so then they get excited to see them and not focused on the item
Out of sight, out of mind worked best for us with both our girls. Just one day all the binkies and bottles disappeared. Maybe one or two naps or nights with a tear or two, but for the most part, it was a non-issue
Your Dr is lovely, nice bedside manner. Medical equipment has come on so much since my last son, wonderful clear image of baby girl 2. Micah is such a cutie pie 🥰 sing along in her own way. Our children are very precious. x
She's just so stinkin cute! I can't wait to see her with baby #2. Actually I don't think I'll be able to handle it lol
Hugs for Stella ❤
Micah looks so sweet talking and singing with those pretty little teeth of hers! Sissy is adorable smiling for her ultrasound. She's already learned about posing whenever a camera's around. Lol!
Glad all went so well at the ultrasound and feeling better. 👏😊 Blessings for Stella to be safe, hopefully improve, continue to be happy.🙏
What a nice dr! " what can I do to make your day a little better?" Must be awesome for you!
He's wonderful
Your little one is smiling all the time because she knows what an amazing mom and dad you are and how loved it she is as for the binky try it worst case scenario you just have to let her have it again it's not the end of the world
We have a local restaurant chain where I am in Kentucky called “I don’t know”. It’s a very popular buffet 😂
Hello, fellow Kentuckian! 👋
Omg she makes my morning so love seeing her cute little face and that smile melts your heart 💜
Micah is such a beautiful little girl. Looks like she doesn’t need her binky, it is a habit. It is awesome to see your baby smiling. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So very happy to hear you are feeling better Jess! Excited for baby girl to arrive. Can't wait to see you do the nursery. Micah is growing up too quickly. Seems like yesterday she was just born. Cutest little girl ever! ❤️
Love,
From Florida
We also have a boxer with leg issues... We purchased nonslip rugs to put around our house. It helps her a lot. We placed them in areas that we know she struggles to keep her feet underneath her. Small cost to help

My friend had a binky ceremony. They went to Build A Bear and had them put the bink in with the heart. Micah 😭😭😭😭😭 she melts my heart so much y'all are just amazing in so many ways
Seems like she's ready... Just tell her binky went bye bye.
Awwwwww!!! That smile was so wonderful! So exited for you all! 💕
Beautiful singing Micah! Encore Encore. Waving Hi/Bye and blowing you kisses from Canada
So happy your feeling better Jess . Micha is so adorable singing with her toy . thank you for sharing
My daughter is a month younger then Micah when she was around 5 months she one day would no longer take the binky. I thought it was so strange but I just went with it! Micah looks so stinking cute in her winter gear 🥰

Hey for Stella you guys should look into getting these pads that stick to her feet, it prevents slipping.. you can get them om Amazon!
So glad you are feeling better....both of you. Our dentist is the one who told our middle child (he was 2 at the time) that he needed to stop with the pacifier. Oh, and I now use it as a Christmas ornament on our tree as well as a few other small toys my boys had when they were really young.
It can make her teeth grow in outward. She is so adorable!
I'm like a couple days behind you in your pregnancy and we found out I'm having a girl! My first baby and I'm super excited!!
Congratulations! Blessings for a healthy, easy pregnancy and delivery! 🙏👏
Micah you're adorable Singing along with the music. Nice to see everything is okay with baby nr 2.
I wanted to stay with Jess and see what she was cooking in the Foodi! I bought one several months ago and still haven't used it. I'm a bit intimidated. Lol Maybe Jess can post some videos sometimes and some recipes? 😁
Oh and the fridge phonics is the BEST!!!
I also liked the glucose drink.
Wow! Sometimes it seems like Micah is growing up so fast!! Or she is just learning new things so fast, is probably more accurate!

I believe they pay for them out of pocket. I'm from the US I only got 2 and had to pay for one because they had to recheck his anatomy.
That's typical for a lot of doctors in the US as well (dating scan, NT scan, and anatomy scan). But I get them more frequently because I'm high risk.
I only had the first scan when I found out I was pregnant and an anatomy scan.
Oh, ok thanks for letting me know guys. I thought we was the only ones to get just 2 scans. Yer I've paid for a few scans too just to keep my mind at rest after having 2 miscarriages last year.

What a beautiful caring Dr doing the US!
I was just like you with the glucose testing I didn't mind the flavor or taste at all... I had orange and fruit punch with my son!
There's an I Don't Care bar in my town. Gave me a chuckle when jess said that about restaurant names
So glad your better and baby is ok. I love your white jacket, could i ask where you got it from. I live in the U.K though. Thanks
Our daughter is just a little older than Micah (20 months) and we just let the binky run its course. One day she just went to sleep without it, we put them all away that day, and she never seemed to want it since. This was around 14 months, but we might have also gotten lucky.

All three of my kiddos threw away their binkies at 5 mos. Much to my dismay!!!
Austin, what movie did you go see? And Jess, can you give us some good recipes for that slow cooker contraption you got there???
We had three Labs that ended up having joint hip pain and they told us to give her bufferin and if you give her flaxseed and glucosamine I think it is that helps as well definitely ask your vet but it helped our girl tremendously

Jess You look so stunning in white really suits you 💖
I’m jealous that you got to take yours home to do it 😂 I had to drink mine at the drs office but I was able to leave for the hour and go back.
Jess I always say the same to my family when We are trying to choose a restaurant. Those names are perfect 😂
Idk if it was just me but i can see Micah in the baby lol. I think there gonna have the same eyes 🥰🥰
Do you guys still have the same doctor you had with Micah?
So excited to see baby! I feel like this pregnancy is going by fast too! Lol!
You are such a good cook, Jess. Your food always looks so delicious and healthy! Do you search around online or is it just from your imagination?
When my daughter was a year old, I took her and her pacifier and bottles over to the trash can, and had her throw them away. Clapped, told her good girl, all of that. She cried a little bit for a couple of nights, then was fine. I just told her remember you threw them away. (after I had her toss them, when she wasn't around, I took them out of the trash and cut the ends off, so I wouldn't be tempted to give them back.) lol I also had her potty trained a couple of months before she turned 2. I had another baby on the way, and didn't want two in diapers.
Also love the orange lipstick on you actually!!!
You can try a binky/passive fairy. You use your TV if it's an smart wifi or have Wii work our with well your sweet little one is laying down
I loved your make up look you look beautiful in white n the high collar too. Awe baby growing so well u guys are the best keep making awesome videos ✌️💗😀
Can't wait to see the nursery
Oooooo give me that recipe! It looked amazing!!!
The glucose test is not as bad as people make it seem. I only had to take the one hour one with each of my pregnancies. Maybe I would change my opinion if I had to do the three hour one.
Jess the glucose test is optional. If your not having symptoms you can opt out if you want.
Jess, where did you buy your white zipper jacket? Its really nice 😀
I like the white sweater
I only got two ultrasound when I was pregnant with my son, I wish we had regular ones 😔 the first one was just to make sure he was okay and he still looked like a peanut so you couldnt really see anything
We lost like four soothers and I did not want to buy anymore. so we went cold turkey off the soother it took her three days to get over it.
My dog takes joint vitamins because she had same problems and it helps her
I guess I got lucky, both of my boys never wanted the pacifier.
Look into whether "cool" or "warm" colors look better for a "bold" look if you're not having a gut feeling a color looks best with your whole look :)
Also, I wonder in her hip issues are from the colder weather/ season. Hope she gets well
Just tell Micah that the binky fairys came and took her dummy for their tree. 💖💖
There use to be a I Don't Care Grill in my town
I had the orange as well, but it didn't make me feel like throwing up. Just tasted like an no name brand of orange soda.
💛💛💛
Jess I agree not a big fan of the lipstick color in this video. Love watching your family grow
