i love it how you have to hit 'big' to only lose 60% of your investment. products like this, whilst amazing quality is HUGELY out of alignment with return on investment. not saying they need to guarantee ROI value, but 9k for that, wow. and it could have easily been worse without the Lance. It's fun to see it ripped - but honestly, it's a horrible use of $ when 99% of the time you can buy all the cards aftermarket and keep 5-6k
What happens when fools pay way over retail after they buy the company out which is why there aren't supposed to be monopolies but obviously that's a lie.
Well I highly doubt he paid 9000 for this box. Theyre not even remotely thay expensive.

These card companies are raping and pillaging....and it's why I'm out of the market now. I got back in temporarily last year for a bit. Glad I'll be putting my hard earned money to something worth it's value. I'd rather spend my money on roulette.

I love watching these videos. 10 months later I ebayed the cards that were pulled, highest price paid, ungraded. $2039 total. These card companies have nerve pricing these boxes.

Its boxes like this that made me stop cracking back when Exquisite came out almost 20 years ago.
You hit a couple big cards and still lost thousands.

Max a briefcase of Flawless should be is like $5000. National Treasures $2000 and Prizm $500 should be the prices! Panini's greed is destroying the hobby!

Well, they lost their ASSES on licensing, so come 2026 there won’t be shit for panini whatsoever unless you like soccer, UFC, or the WWE. So I imagine that until then their prices will only get higher and higher due to them trying to make all the money they can before the show is over. Fanatics got a 20 year license agreement with the NBA, NFL, and MLB so we will get to see their greed for a full generation… the question is, will the hobby grow or die because of it???

That is wild, if a /25 Lance RPA is priced at 2000/2500$, that means that you would need 3-4 high end QB rookies in order to make your money back on this box, price is wildddd

$9000 for a couple of signed cards? Who is going to pay $'s for patches that aren't game worn? The jig is up with non game worn patches - I see more and more people turning the cards over at shows and simply walking away when its not game worn (as they should). Those cards are soon to simply be nice autographed cards - worth basically whatever the value of a guy's autograph is.
Better off taking a weekend trip to Vegas and at least enjoying yourself for a weekend.
This QB class is also very weak and those cards are extremely overpriced. Zack Wilson, Lance, Fields....haven't done jack yet. Would be dumping those cards immediately.

@@Francistamayo323 Who exactly stood out so far? Last year was nothing special.... Wasn't the 2020 draft class. Mac Jones is getting severely overhyped right now IMO. Lawerence still has a lot to prove. The rest will probably be career backups at best.
@@Novastar6 my biggest pull ever was a Red refractor auto of Marcelo Mayer. I sold it on eBay within 2 hrs of pulling it. Now it’s around the same price with a high grade PSA. I’d never hold that card of a prospect that might not turn out to be squat in the long run
@@raidersacdc4892 And that's the thing.... playing against house odds. Best to sell immediately especially with the market today. There's a chance some of these QB's will have solid careers but nobody really stood out last year enough to take that risk besides maybe Jones.
Baffles me people pay 9k for the opportunity to pull 4k worth of product. Awesome video but I just don't understand pricing on products nowadays
Pricing is easily understood. They basically take what they think is the value of the 20th best card or so snd charge that per box lol. That way 95% of people are losing huge snd only 5% of people are actually making money. Then they send those really loaded boxes to the channels who break live to the biggest audiences that they've worked out deals with so people watch them and think they can pull that good stuff too
@@paulharkabus4148 that's only a percentage of the pricing issue. They've gone up tenfold since this hobby exploded during the pandemic. Retail is up 20%+ per box as hit rates have gone down. Panini is diluting their own product and serving garbage left and right. So again I say; it baffles me that people pay $9k for a box with near certainty of pulling garbage and if you do it's a sticker auto with a patch that has no association to the player whose card it is.
This was fun to watch. Love to live vicariously through people with WAY more money to spend on cards than I do. The sad thing is this was a pretty good box, (2 rookie QBs, a Moore RPA & a sweet Micah Parsons) but if you sold all the cards it wouldn't even bring back half of the 9K.

There you go man definitely needed that Mac. Not my favorite as I've seen thousands of these opened but that Mac Jones was fantastic the RPA Trey Lance was nice too. Luke was fire glad to see his card. An depending how Micah turns out that's a hit as well

Two of my best pulls were in the 90's when we stopped at a K-Mart and I bought some .50 cent packs. I pulled a Marino jersey and a Barry Sanders auto. This was at a time when those cards were hard to pull. Heck, a rookie card was hard to pull. This is too insane for me.

About as good as you can hope to pull and still half the money back. It's still ton of fun to open any box tho!
Rungoodlife is the best, the only break I've ever done and I did the best that break. Nothing crazy, but had grizzlies and got Ja Morant orange
a Lance /10 patch auto booklet just sold for 2900....only because it was first to market... you get a like for torching like 6k!
Getting to market first is insane important. I sold a Prizm Lance Auto for $1770. Not numbered. Nothing special. Just the simple silver auto... sticker auto at that. I got it the day Prizm dropped and listed it immediately after i pulled it. Now those are going for maybe like 800 and there are plenty of them out there

Is that Micah Parsons patch even his? I can't make out the letters, but no way it comes from a Parsons jersey. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out, using every letter of "Micah Parsons" and "Dallas Cowboys" and it doesn't match any.

I just watched a dude online open his live. His highest card was a 250 card. He got maybe 700 worth of cards you could tell by last three cards he was nervous. Poor dude probably didn't sleep all night.
Prices need to come down. IMO that box had some really nice hits and he still lost half the value.

Even worse we are at peak market. The odds of anything of these top hits going up in value over time will be slim and none. They will go down as other rookie classes come out and market comes down to normal. Peopke just throwing money away like the world is ending is what pushed the market up and cards to to expensive to buy and to over priced to ever be an investment.
Trey Lance has yet to produce to make spending 11k worth it.

I have not seen any Flawless Football without 2 autos in the briefcase. Unless one of the cards is a one of one. Panini kind of let you down there. That Mac is a card meant for the loose box, not the breifcase. Could have been worse overall.
