How dare you insult David Bombal?! Just because the guy makes clickbaity videos with no concrete content and uploads? Thats no reason at all to call out the guy publicly. How will he pay his bills if people notice that he's just after their attention offering little to nothing in return? Oh you badboy you
Inaccurate, when he does demos they’re really basic stuff anyone can do. If it’s not him then it’s legit people from the industry showcasing real stuff. lol do you even watch his vids?
lmfaoooo i love the fact about the rinse and repeat generic cybersecurity content about "best certs for cyber" "how to make 6 figures in cyber no experience" "how to land your first cyber role"
@@tadii People eat it up, because the human condition wants validation and a feeling of acceptance and inclusion. They keep watching to see if a cert they achieved makes the cut, or to be told they can make 100k with a CC cert, and everyone telling them they are wrong, are wrong. Even though they clearly cant land a role. They want the easiest, cheapest, path of least restitance, and they will keep looking to be told that is the way, even when it clearly isnt working.
I currently earn $116,000 as a Cloud Security Engineer at a Biotech company here in Chicago. Are you laughing because you're not earning six-figures? YES my certifications and BS degree secured a higher paying role - IT IS POSSIBLE. Spend less time on RUclips trolling in the comments and more time shaping and honing your career. Hall of fame basement dwellers.
the funny part of " best cert for cyber " that they aren't best cert for cyber, and " how to land your first security job " too. which made alot of people change their carrers from nursing or police officers to pursuing these certs thinking they will achieve the 150k cyber security role. instead they just made the field busy and crowded for no reason. in addition to those the " enroll in my course that will grantee you a job in cyber " . now HR is asking for CISSP for a security analyst role !! when before you only needed your comp sci degree maybe a security plus cert. with all these paid courses and trainings. companies don't want to pay for training . either come learned and professional or you probably won't get the job.
@@tadii the last funny thing I have encountered recently was 2 companies rejected my application but sent me in the rejection email that they offer an online paid course/ training that I should pay and enroll in with them 🙃 . It's definitely crazy Rn !
Most of those "BEST CERTS" just cater to the newbies and people trying to get into the industry. You're pretty informative so having a niche options once you get passed that newbie status is cool. The generative AI security is pretty interesting and is something I've had my eye on but no idea how to approach it.
i don't think i'll be doing a tier list, but it really just depends on what you want to learn. i'll do a video on the best way to learn certain topics and specialties in security though
Hey man do you have a discord channel by any chance? It’s good to see similar aged people like myself in the industry who are getting started (have less than 10 years experience 😅) would be good to connect and learn from one another.
I think the word is challenging, not hard.
12 week year is briliant. Going to implement this idea going forward. Appreciate you putting out valuable content keeping it real!
Best of luck!

i can't tell if this is satire, but i actually like and watch David 🫶🏽
At least someone called this out openly. That’s exactly how I feel about.

look into huntr.com, it's an AI/ML bug bounty platform that also publishes tones of research
Great Video, but also wanted to ask what is the best Security Cert in 2024 Q2? Tier List Coming???

@tadii I was joking, but look forward to said video for sure!
Nowdays cyber security filed is soo competitive , so is i want to go for a degree or develop my skills .
Hate to tell you this but a degree won’t build your skills not in this field
offsec has dump courses i don't like them.
