We must be financially healthy to provide the best for our child!!!
I give my child as much as possible. Love, care, good food, cosy house, etc..

You have to make sure you can provide for your kids till they graduate.
My friend has 3 kids. He was the sole bread winner. Unfortunately, he died of Cancer at 46!! I feel sorry for the 3 small kids

Looking at the bright side, at least there are enough opportunities in Singapore for all our kids!

I am not sure if my child can take the stress. Many people are struggling with mental illness.
We pay a heavy prize for a "successful" Sg

The good thing is mental health awareness is better globally now. We need to educate our kids and teach them ways to de-stress. Some places that are not successful also have their own stress. So I guess, it's about choosing what type of 'stress' we want...

We don't want any stress. My daughter is not ambitious and chose to work for the government. Yet, she feels stressed! She is timid and can't take stress

Those that are not good enough should leave s'pore and go to cheaper places like lebanon or syria.

Ultimately, I think it is all a choice! Alternatively, we can reduce expenses by just bringing them for outdoor play in the park, and similar activities like that. Kids will still be really happy! :)
