I can't even tell how much I miss this show. It was (and still is) one of the best shows the CW had ever created and I'm glad I had the chance to be part of the nikitaverse somehow because it was so worth it.
I've been trying to make a tribute video for months now and this is all I could come up with. I hate the fact that it looks like a mix between my bright lights and somebody to die for videos, my lack of originality and creativity is showing here but I needed to vid what has been my favourite tv show for 3 years :')
dedicated to my nikita ladies and good friends, bia ( / italianrory ) aka my nikita queen, who inspires me a lot (especially when it comes to vidding this show) and tanya ( / themrslondon , with whom I fangirled over the beautiful otp that is mikita (still owe you a mikita video btw). love you girls!

you know, people believe that there's a limit of people's abilities, of what they can do, of how much they can reach. well, this is definitely not about you. with every video you upload your editing becomes more and more breathtaking and i have absolutely no idea how you can think otherwise.
i was waiting for you to vid nikita for a really long time and even though i'm still hoping to see a skyfall vid someday, right now, this is everything i could ask for and so much more. i mean, this song.. i remember you tweeted me an official video with this song, saying "do you realize we're in this video together?' or something like that and i remember being overwhelmed, because finally there was something, where we are actually together. and also this show.. i won't lie if i say that this show was one of the reason we started socializing and this show was one of our most discussed topic during my absence.. i remember how many words in your letter were about mikita and nikita in general.. so yes, this video is everything i could wish for, it's really really special ;)
everything about this video is beautiful. you may disagree with me, but it is definitely the best tribute video ever. when people usually make tribute videos, they either focus on characters, or on romantic relationships and friendships or just on the main idea of the show. you managed to outdone them and included everything this show was about - you showed the strength of nikita and her team, you showed problems alex and her friends had to deal with, you showed the perfect relationship between mikita and the support nikita and alex always gave to each other and the others. but also you included what they fought for - freedom, getting amanda down. you showed how hard their way was, how many things they lost. you showed their way right from the start to the very end and you showed how people changed, what better people they became.
talking about editing itself.. well, you're the queen, when it comes to editing songs like this. i mean.. you followed all the bits, you picked up the most suitable scenes and i also liked how you played on contrasts. and i'm really happy you're still using this things with blown ups and bits (i assume 'white blank page' was the first video, where you used it, right?). and also the coloring. you know, i have a lot of adoration for your colorings they're all really really pretty, but your nikita colorings are just more than pretty! and the quote you used is simply one of the best things that was ever said on this show and it reflects the whole point of the show!
i will never forget the moment, when i started watching this show, the moment you uploaded your very first video ("am i just like youuu?') and all the great things happened. thank you so much for the dedication, love! i appreciate it with all of my heart

man your editing always blows me away! it is not the same as your other videos, they are always unique to me even when i dont watch the show (which is the case with this video, though i obviously i should).
