I worked with a woman that could have been this person’s twin sister. It was extremely difficult to work with a person like this - selfish and expected special treatment because she had anxiety and adhd. Living in her parents basement at 37 yrs old. Her mother even stopped by once to tell us to stop picking on her daughter - no we just expected her to carry her own weight at work like the rest of us!

My grandpa was racist against Japanese people because he was a Marine who fought in Okinawa, but he said that was his personal value and that I should draw my own conclusions about others. I'm thinking the movie isn't sexist or maybe the movie he's watching is a classic movie from his younger days where, yeah, of course there's probably sexism in it. The scary part is, based on the car thing, is that the grandfather is probably dependent upon this person so she takes advantage of this. Sounded like he kicked her out? But if so, where was the video made from? The origin of elder abuse is that the old person (and if she is 37 he is conservatively in his 70s but perhaps much older) is that the old person needs help. A societal problem that the vast majority of us will face -- no matter how old you are today, you face a time when you will need help and that can be a very scary situation.

I worked with a woman that could have been this person’s twin sister. It was extremely difficult to work with a person like this - selfish and expected special treatment because she had anxiety and adhd. Living in her parents basement at 37 yrs old. Her mother even stopped by once to tell us to stop picking on her daughter - no we just expected her to carry her own weight at work like the rest of us!
She really thought she was doing something with that singing.
Sometimes I wish I was as delulu as people like this. Feeling safe in an alternate reality is the easy way.
She's a disrespectful and ungrateful grandchild! I wish everyday that my grandpa was still alive. He died when I was 28 and he was 82 from vascular dementia. My grandpa was racist against Japanese people because he was a Marine who fought in Okinawa, but he said that was his personal value and that I should draw my own conclusions about others. I'm thinking the movie isn't sexist or maybe the movie he's watching is a classic movie from his younger days where, yeah, of course there's probably sexism in it. I can an enjoy older movies where there's a damsel in distress and has to be rescued by a handsome man, but I understand those movies are a product of their time.
I am glad he kicked her out. If and when I become a grandparent, and one of my grandkids acted like this I would for sure kick them out and tell their father how their child is acting.

If he's handicapped and she moved it to where he doesn't have access that is considered a form of elderly abuse. Something courts don't take lightly.
