Interesting keyboard configuration and nice demonstration of its use. If you're really interested in speed, consider switching to the Dvorak layout. I tried it many years ago and it took about a day of use before I no longer had to consciously translate letters to finger strokes. A vastly superior key mapping to querty IMO.

dvorak and other layouts like colemack and the rsthd layout are really mainly for rsi prevention and similar ergo related reasons

Yep, it's great. I'd say I'm 50-50 on the manuform vs. not aspect. The wrist rests are basically great -- do you have an alternative to consider?

I answer pretty extensively in the video, but the key aspects are easy access to keys such as ctrl/alt/end/home as well as the typical punctuation. Plus, quite simply, software engineers type a lot and this keyboard is good for typing.
