THIS IS SUCH A GOOD RESOURCE TO EXPLAIN SO MANY THINGS I NEVER COULD When I started working and chose not to join the union (I was making barely above minimum wage and just needed a summer job) I told my conservative dad I still supported the union because I've had a chance to come at it objectively. Seeing something like this really helps explain why he would have felt differently than I did, as I had no idea that unions had been portrayed so badly for so long. All of those small quips and jokes really add up to a strong reinforcement of ideas over an entire lifetime, and this gives a good perspective on that. Also, aside from the actual content, the voiceover work and editing is just amazing on this ? Like I genuinely thought this came from a huge channel and was actually surprised to see such a low view count on it. I really hope you're able to keep doing these, because just everything was on point. Well Time to watch the next one
Salt of the Earth was required viewing in my Film History course at Arizona State University. It was one of two films where, if you missed the screening for any reason that wasn't absolutely dire, you automatically failed. The other was Birth of a Nation, which we subsequently had to write a 5 page critical response to. I'm beginning to think my professor might've been a sleeper Marxist...
your voice is very smooth jsyk. it’s very relaxing, yet surprisingly good at attracting my brain to listen and absorb your content. do you do professional voiceover work? you definitely could
I work for a branch of the government where 90% of the workforce is unionized while the rest of us are not allowed to be in a union at all. So which segment of the workforce is pushed around, ill funded, forced to do more work for less pay, and are targeted for job eliminations? Hint: It's not the well guarded 90%.
What the fuck dude? This video is so good! I'm gonna watch the other one after dinner. How did you just make an account and release this as you like, first thing? Wild. Do you have twitter?
Fantastic episode. I actually read the Crucible not just the sparknotes :P it was a great play compared to the other dry stuff they had us read in high school. Also saw Salt of the Earth for my political movements class. Great work
Hey! It's "Less talk, more work." followed by a "Nice work" from Penny. Sheldon finishes up with "If you hear any union songs, let me know." I don't know what happened with the audio; some people can hear it and some can't. The same thing happened with the audio in Hey Arnold from part 2. I think the sound on the clips I pulled is mixed weirdly, but because I can hear it on my laptop, I didn't realize this until it was out into the world. Apologies!

Great video. Very interesting
Thank you!
This is really good! Subscribed.
Thank you so much!
This is very interesting especially for me as a European.
I think Citizen Kane was from 1941 not 1939. Anyhow, an excellent and vitally necessary video. Looking forward to future uploads!
Unions have been destroyed, god it sucks. I wish I could join one, but even if I could work my state have basically banned unions.
Join the IWW. Workers of the world unite!
fun fact! one of the many factors in Walmart's failure to establish in Germany was their anti-union stance!
What was the dialogue in that Big Bang Theory scene? It's missing.

@@popularcc4539 Thanks :) Also, not surprised they would have such a crap joke in their crap show
Is the background music at the end the strike song from the Simpsons union episode?
Yes indeed
@@popularcc4539 That's awesome! Do you have a link to it at all?
@@dadadadadada4891 Hey! Apologies, thought I'd put it in the description. I've updated it! It's here! ruclips.net/video/GmKzYrrRweQ/видео.html
@@popularcc4539 Thanks!
I can't believe your channel doesn't have more subscribers
In America we are not free to have certain ideas. Ideas that threaten the bourgeois
I got here because of your video on the Good Place. But I'm subscribing for the socialism.
